Have you received the end of your faith?

1 Peter 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

Peter's story completely debunks much of what is taught as "Once Saved Always Saved". If you ask them what about a believer who denies the Lord many will tell you that guy was never saved. But what about Peter? With Peter he says that as Christians we go through manifold temptations. There was a lot of pressure on him to deny the Lord, the threat was that maybe he would be arrested and crucified also. But these temptations are necessary.

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Peter's denial of Jesus was not the end of the story, that was simply his faith going through the fire. The end of the story is his getting back up after the fall, his continuing to run the race, his ministry as evidenced by this letter, and his embracing being a martyr at the end of his ministry. Everything that happened to him worked out for good and was according to God's purpose to transform him from a man of clay to a precious stone in the Lord's kingdom.

8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

The "Once Saved Always Saved" crowd focuses on the salvation at the very beginning of your faith when you pray to the Lord and are washed in His blood. But at that point you are still filled with your opinions, you still have an unrenewed mind, you haven't gone through any trials of your faith, and there is no glory in your Christian life. There is forgiveness, there is a free gift of grace, but no glory. But when Peter was martyred there was a lot of glory, he had gone through a lot of trials, he now had a renewed mind. We can see that the Lord didn't simply save him from hell, He saved his soul.

Be ye holy; for I am holy

1 Peter 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

When you read the prophets they give at least 50% of their words to focus on our sins, our failures, our lusts, our temptations, and all the ways we have failed and left the Lord. These are all the things that we need to be saved from and they have made a very diligent search.

11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

The prophets testify of the sufferings of Christ!? Really? Mostly I see the sufferings of Jacob, Israel, Ephraim, Moab, Assyria, Babylon, etc. But Jesus died for all of us. When you see the judgement that is on each and every group of people, Jesus paid the price for each and every one. Imagine that, all of the prophets speaking of all the judgement of God on man, that can be summarized as "the sufferings of Christ". And they don't stop there, the prophets also talk of the glory that is to follow the resurrection. The death is a judgement for the sins, the resurrection is the glory to follow for those who are walking by faith.

12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

The prophets are very clear, the things they were speaking were not simply to themselves at the time of their speaking but to those who would follow. The life of faith is a relay race. Faith is ministered and passed down from one generation to the next. Daniel spoke of seventy weeks of years, that is a 490 year period. He knew this word was for later generations. Jeremiah spoke of them leaving Babylon after 70 years, he knew that was for a later generation.

13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

The opposite of sober is drunk. Gird up the loins of your mind means to be girt about with truth. The truth is that the church age is two thousand years. Peter will tell us that a thousand years is as one day to God. He is referring to four thousand years from Adam to the second Adam being like four days in Genesis chapter 1 and that we would have two more days just like Hosea said in chapter six.

14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

There is an ugly doctrine that Paul referred to and that Peter is also referring to here that 'we have been saved by grace so it is ok to live in sin, the Lord forgives you'. That doctrine is fashioning you according to your former lusts prior to you being saved. Now that you do know the Lord you should behave as obedient children, obeying the things that the Lord told you.

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

What has He told us to do? He told us to be ye holy, for I am holy. This word holy is a very special word, it describes what God is like which is different from everyone else. For example when Jesus said He had to go to the cross to be crucified, that was completely different from everyone else's idea. When we get our minds renewed and we have the mind of Christ that is "holy", it is a mind that is like God and completely different from everyone else. We are renewed by spending time in the word, in prayer, in fellowship and in worship. All manner of conversation refers to the words that come out of our mouth, but it is more than that. It is a reference to the way we live our life.

God the Father judges according to every man's work

1 Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Isn't this "works based salvation" and don't the OSAS crowd condemn that? No, it isn't, and yet if you listen to them you would think they condemn this. Salvation from hell is simply that, it means that hell is taken off the table for you. Imagine you are awaiting trial and the prosecutor has removed hell as an option, they will not be asking for you to be sent to hell. That is what the OSAS crowd is referring to as salvation. You will not go to hell, that is a great thing. However, you still will be going to this trial to be judged for your work in this life.

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

Yes, when we believed in the Lord and trusted in His blood we were redeemed. We were redeemed from a vain manner of life. However, if after being redeemed you choose to continue with a vain manner of life seeking corruptible things and walking according to the tradition of your fathers who were not redeemed, well that will all come out in the trial when you stand before God.

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Instead we should be walking so that our faith and hope is in God. Not in a promotion, not in our bank account, not in what other people think of us. We are simply concerned with what Jesus thinks of us. Will He say "well done thou good and faithful servant"?

22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Have you obeyed the truth? Have you walked with unfeigned love of the brethren? Does the word of God live and abide in you? These are the questions that will have to be answered when you stand before God in your trial where He will judge your works.

24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

If you say "hey look I made a lot of money" or "hey look I got this great job" those things are like the grass that will wither in the heat as you stand before God. The things you thought would be beautiful flowers will all fall away.

25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

What will not fall away is the word of God. It is likened to gold. The fire may melt it, but it will simply become more purified.

Jupiter is the King planet, it is also like the Big brother to the Earth protecting it from many projectiles which would have otherwise hit the US. In many ways Jupiter depicts the Lord Jesus. The constellation Gemini depicts the Lord being one with the Church and walking with us. Remember, even after the rapture most of the believers will still be on earth, the Lord is not going to abandon them, He is still here walking with them through the tribulation.

Looking at Charlie Kirk in light of Samson

I am not likening Charlie to Samson, rather I am likening the populist movement of conservative Christians who work together with politicians to Samson. Charlie is simply an excellent example of this.

Judges 16:23 Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

Think of all those who rejoiced when Charlie Kirk was killed, it is the same bloodthirsty attitude. However, I liken these Philistines to the Democrat party and they saw Charlies death as a political victory. To say that Charlie Kirk was their enemy and that Turning Point was a major reason for their defeat in the elections is not an exaggeration. I would also liken Delilah working with the Philistines to the Deep state infiltrating Charlies ministry to set him up.

24 And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.

Once again, quite similar to what happened on Tik Tok and other platforms after his assassination.

25 And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.

There have been those who have pointed out how Charlie was set up in the middle of the courtyard in the most exposed location.

26 And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them. 27 Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport. 28 And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

I would argue that we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. I don't think it is possible to get involved in politics without being unequally yoked with unbelievers. That said, each man should follow the Lord and be his servant and none of us is to judge another man's servant. But the last thing that Samson saw was that Delilah had betrayed him, so praying to be avenged for his eyes had to be a reference to the betrayal of the deep state.

29 And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left. 30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Again, this is also true of Charlie Kirk. The influence he had in his death was greater than he had in his life.

31 Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the buryingplace of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.

So we just saw the burial of Charlie Kirk, it was a major event on a Biblical scale. Obviously he did not "judge Israel" for twenty years. Turning point has been in existence since 2012. This is why I liken Samson to the conservative Christian movement in politics and that Charlie is simply the tip of the spear when looking at that movement. However, I do believe his death is also the death knell for the Democratic party. Just as Charlies death coincided with the death of 3,000 in the temple worshipping Dagon.

Also, when Moses came down from the mountain he found an orgy going on and 3,000 were killed. I think we have to connect these two events. God is sifting the believers, He alone can judge the hearts and he is separating the ones who are following Him from those who are idol worshippers.

I went to the memorial service for Charlie Kirk at State Farm Arena in Glendale, Az. The thing that stood out to me was the number of politicians. Charlie was clearly a Christian with a Christian ministry that had become intertwined with politicians and the deep state.

Let me address Joshua

I first learned I would see the Lord's return in 1972. So for all those who are complaining about how long this has been or how these people are causing others to turn from the Lord I see that as the Lord. How weak and pathetic must your faith be that you let someone else cause you to stop running the race. The Lord discerns the hearts and if something some guy you never met could cause you to stop running the race I think that says a whole lot about your heart.

When Joshua talked about his dreams and visions I simply saw this as one more event of many, many events I have documented in this blog. I did not see his word as being equivalent to the last trumpet. What this reminded me of was a football game I played in. During the second year of being on this Pee Wee football team we had flown to Dallas to play in a bowl game. It was late in the fourth quarter, we were winning 12-0. We were on defense and the other team had the ball around mid field.

Then I hear our cheerleaders on our side of the field saying "It's all over now". It was as though I just came out of a hypnotic trance. Prior to that I was fully focused, but once I heard that all of a sudden I could feel how exhausted I was, how hungry I was. On fourth down the team threw a pass which I knocked to the ground and then the whistle blew, the game was over.

I likened Joshua to those cheerleaders saying "It is all over now". That is how I view what he said.

Harpazo means to be snatched up and out of the way of sudden and certain destruction. Today we had a call to attack churches in the US from a variety of Islamic actors as well as this story about the US calling all generals to Quantico for a meeting indicating we are going to war and on top of all this the comet that appears to be a guided spacecraft which has split into one section going to our moon and the other section going on a direct path to land on Mars.

I have always felt that the ideal day for the rapture would be the Lord's day. Anyway I think the Christians are closer than ever to this planned attack on Christians and that is what we expect to see prior to the Harpazo (rapture)

Why is the rapture at a time when no one knows the day or hour?

When I started this thread I wanted to know everything else about the rapture other than when. But you can't cover this topic without including a whole lot of speculation as to when it is. I have posted many links from people looking at various signs and prophecies who then speculate about the when. One key principle I have had is that I am not the arbiter of truth, so as long as the post was Biblically based and was not redundant I would often post links to their videos. Also, I saw that one service I was doing was going through hours of videos and posting the ones that would keep others well informed who didn't have that much time.

But I would like everyone to consider this question, why would the Lord set up the rapture at a time when no one knows the day or the hour? To answer that you have to get to know the people who are really focused on the when. It turns out they fall into three major groups. First, you have those who are studying this, watching for the Lord's return and discover there is much more to the rapture than the verse "no one knows the day or the hour". There is a very good reason to believe you can know the year, there is a good reason to believe it will be on an appointed day of the Lord, and there is a good reason to believe it will take place at the end of the harvest season in Israel. However, if it does not take place on a "high watch date" they simply go back to the drawing board. For them this is a puzzle they are trying to solve.

The second group are the charlatans and scam artists who have used this to build cult followings and get people to give them money. Because of the scams in past churches and pastors are afraid to touch this topic despite it being in the Bible. As a result the people of God are ignorant about things they should not be ignorant about. Ironically the fact that there have been false prophets is a fulfillment of prophecy and instead of being a good reason to not touch this topic it is further evidence that we must cover this. Why would Satan be doing everything in his power to keep churches from teaching on this if it weren't important. In the war when the bombers would come under intense anti aircraft fire it was proof that they were over the target. The attacks on anyone covering this topic is proof that we are over the target. Then there is the third group, these are ones who are like fan boys, they get all hyped up about when and then are offended and leave the Lord when the Lord does not return on a high watch date. Some of them want to know the date so they can stop paying bills or for some other shallow and embarrassing reason. This topic, more than any other, reveals where your heart is.

Then there is a fourth group who is not focused in on the rapture, on the contrary they are "pan trib", they believe it will all pan out in the end and so stop wasting time talking about it. They are like a fiance who doesn't care when her husband will come to get her, doesn't care when the wedding is, basically doesn't care. Jesus rebuked the Israelites for not knowing when the day of their visitation was. He also rebukes Sardis for not digging into the word of God as they did at first and saying if they don't repent they won't know the hour of His return. I don't know what to say about these Christians that will accurately portray what the Bible says without being judgmental and insulting.

In short, when Jesus says "no one knows the day and hour" it reveals where your heart is. God is a discerner of the hearts. I would also say that studying this topic has caused me to learn quite a bit about the Bible that pastors and churches rarely if ever will discuss.

1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

This wherefore is referring to the fact that we will all be judged for our works. Yes we have been redeemed, we have been forgiven for our sins, and we are no longer slaves to sin. But we will still be judged for our works and so Peter is saying since we are going to be judged lay aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings. This is what I can't stand with the OSAS doctrine, it stops at the moment you are redeemed by the blood and completely ignores this "wherefore" from Peter.

2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

As newborn babes proves we are talking about those who have been redeemed, those who have been forgiven. Peter is likening you to a newborn babe. Well in order to grow you have to eat, and that starts with the milk of the word. Later in Hebrews we learn there is also the meat of the word which is for the mature.

3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

This word translated gracious is used in other places. When Jesus said my Yoke is easy, that word translated easy is this word. When Jesus said people say the old wine is better than the new, that word translated better is this word that is translated gracious. In Luke it says that God is kind to the unthankful, that word translated kind is this word translated gracious. In Romans Paul says the goodness of God leads us to repentance. The word translated "goodness" is the same word that is translated gracious here.

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Once again Peter is speaking from his personal experience. The name Peter means a stone.

So then let's consider in more detail these things he has listed.

Malice -- This word is first used when Jesus says to take no thought for tomorrow because sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. The word means depravity, desire to injure, ill will, trouble. This is not talking about accidents, it is talking about people who have evil intent to harm doing bad things to people they want to harm. For example the assassination of Charlie Kirk was malice, the Islamists issuing a threat yesterday to attack churches in the US is also malice. This is the natural man, how he thinks. We identify "enemies" and then we want to harm them. Lay that aside. As a Christian that thinking no longer applies to us. No enemy can touch us unless God allows. If you read the story of Job Satan says he can't touch Job because he is surrounded by a hedge of protection. God uses Satan to teach us a lesson. Perhaps we are proud, arrogant, or malicious. Well we need to be taught a lesson.

Guile -- This word goes hand in hand with malice. It means subtilty, craft, deceit. In the world many people have malice in their heart but they are crafty, deceitful, subtle. The first time it is used the Jewish rulers wanted to take Jesus by subtilty. Witchcraft is commonly called "the craft". They don't mean craftsmen, but rather crafty, guile, deceit. Malice + guile = the occult.

Hypocrisies -- We have probably all heard that this word is used for actors on a stage wearing a mask. But the first definition is "an answer". Malice and guile are involved in planning, in laying out an evil strategy. Hypocrisies is tactics. Think of a tennis match, the serve is "the malice and guile", and if you are able to return that serve the response will be hypocrisies. In the gospels the Pharisees and Herodians asked Jesus shall we give to Caesar or not? It then says "Jesus knew their hypocrisies". You see this behavior commonly in debates, especially doctrinal debates with Christians.

Envies -- We are told in the gospels that Jesus knew He had been delivered to Pilate out of envy. I have said the same thing about Abel, he was killed because of envy, and I have said the same about Charlie Kirk. He had an extremely powerful campus ministry that the political powers that be envy. In Timothy we are told there are some who just continually will attack with questionings and strife of words, and that is because of envy. We are also told that some preach Christ out of envy. There are many churches that are drying up, fewer and fewer people coming to the service each week, and yet my blog about the rapture gets anywhere from 1,000 to 20,000 new visitors a day. As a result we are now seeing more and more pastors begin to cover this topic talking about the prophecies, the current events, the antichrist, etc.

Evil Speakings -- This word is only used twice, once it is translated as back biting, and the other time it is translated as evil speaking. We have seen this, when people have lost the debate then they resort to personal attacks, calling people hitler, nazis, etc. That is evil speaking.

The point of Peter's word is not that these things are common in the world, of course they are. The world lies in the evil one. The point is that these things are common in us and we need to lay them aside. God is going to judge us, OK, I haven't murdered anyone, haven't robbed a bank, and haven't committed adultery, so I'm good, right? People look at the ten commandments as a checklist. But we are told clearly in the New Testament we will be judged for our words. Every word we speak, and Jesus even says "idle word" because a lot of people try to wiggle out saying "I was only joking". Think of Social Media as "the video tape". During each of our trials the prosecutor will say "Let's go to the video tape". Now the beauty is if you do say something out of malice or guile, or even evil speaking that we can confess, repent, take the blood of Jesus and it will be erased from the trial record.

1 Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Another "wherefore". If we are honest we realize we are surrounded by those who are malicious, full of guile, hypocritical speakers, envy any success, and will hurl evil speakings. We know this because that is who we were before we got saved and now that we take a stand for the Lord we are the focus of their attacks. This word confounded means put to shame. Think of the Christian life as being a witness in a trial. Our witness is that Jesus is Lord, but the prosecutor is Satan and he wants to discredit our witness, he wants to put us to shame. This is why many if not all Christians are scared, at least at first, to get up on the witness stand. Based on ourselves we should be scared, we would be destroyed by Satan. But we are not by ourselves, the chief cornerstone, the one precious to God is with us.

7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

You have a choice, you can know Jesus as the precious stone, or you can know Him as the stone of stumbling and rock of offence. You can be built up into a holy temple of God by the Lord's words or you can stumble at the word. Also, understand this, those that stumble at the word were appointed to this. God is a discerner of hearts, if you stumble at the word it reveals your heart, if the word is precious to you that also reveals your heart.

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

We have been called out of darkness. Malice, guile, hypocrisies, envy and evil speakings are all from the kingdom of darkness. When you leave that kingdom lay aside everything you learned there as well. Our high calling is to shew forth the praises of Him that called us out of darkness.

10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Before you were a nobody, scattered about, on your own, but now you are the people of God. You are an army assembled, orderly, trained, and ready to take the good land and dispossess the evil entities. Instead of thinking how dangerous and how scary this is, instead think of how much fun this is.

1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

As pilgrims. We are not to be acting as children of darkness but rather as a pilgrim, here from the kingdom of light. Things that everyone in the kingdom of darkness does we don't do, we are visitors here, this is not our home. Every thing, every commercial, every billboard, every sign, every TV show, every movie, they war against your soul. I think of this as a hockey game. I used to play goalie. 12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Prior to the day of visitation they will speak of you as an evil doer, it isn't until that day that they will glorify God. Yes, this day will certainly refer to the rapture, but it also refers to the day that they themselves meet the Lord. There are many testimonies of how people who got saved glorified God for the person who brought them the gospel and who prior to that day mocked and ridiculed that person.

13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

This word translated ordinance does not mean law. It means every institution created by man. You can challenge a law, but you must do it legally, according to the proper protocols. You can challenge how things are done in the public school, but again, you must do it legally, according to the proper protocols. In the US we can challenge the president, but again there is a respectful, proper way to do that and that is what Peter is telling us. This is what he means when he says "submit yourselves to every ordinance of man". During WW2 the Germans obeyed their orders to commit crimes. But there are international laws, there are "natural laws" there are many other ordinances of man that they did not submit to. Peter doesn't say we are to submit to Hitler, he says we are to submit to every ordinance of man. Of course you will have a few sick, twisted, demented leaders who will give illegal orders. For example we had a scandal where Americans were torturing prisoners, but that violated international ordinances. You cannot claim you were following what Peter says here because he says to submit to every ordinance of man. At times one command will violate an ordinance, what do you do? Whistleblowers are people who blow the whistle when a company is violating an ordinance of man with their own internal rules.

14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

Peter also clarifies that we are submitting to them that are sent to punish the evildoers. What we are learning is that the cartels, the people we would say are the evildoers, have paid off officials. As a result we see governors and judges who instead of punishing evildoers are crying foul when the evildoers are punished. Peter doesn't say to submit to them, they are corrupt, they are the evil doers, not those that do well.

15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

Think of how many useful idiots have gone along with these foolish ideas. They let violent felons out again, and again and again. We will learn of some heinous crime committed by a guy who had been arrested five times previously for violent felonies. Why is this guy out loose? We see government officials who seem powerless to do anything about crime other than to ask for more money. But then when someone else is wiping out the criminals they are crying about it. This suggests they were being paid off by the criminals and now the money is not coming in and perhaps they too will get arrested. Peter is telling us to do the right thing, punish the evil doers and even though you will hear a lot of complaints from useful idiots you will silence their ignorance when the city becomes safe again.

16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

We have seen this, pastors who are involved in human trafficking or money laundry, or tax fraud.

17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

We have also seen this, a lot of insults hurled about against all men and especially against the president. There is a proper way to raise issues that concern you without being disrespectful. You may very much disagree with Joe Biden, or Donald Trump or Barak Obama without being insulting and using evil speaking. Focus on the policy, not the man, and focus on the facts, not the slander.

All employees are servants. We all have masters, even if you own your company you still have to pay taxes.

19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

But Peter is saying we are servants of God. When we take a stand for God we will often if not always endure grief suffering wrongfully. This is a common theme in the movies, the guy who is saving the day is the one who is enduring grief and suffering wrongfully (think of "It's a Wonderful Life"). But in the end all those he helped give him thanks and it works out to salvation.

20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

I like to think of this as a game of football. You will get hit on every play, but that is simply part of the game.

21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

This is why I hate the OSAS doctrine. Some who hold this doctrine (not all) will actually use it to say we don't need to preach the gospel, we don't need to be witnesses, we don't need to get down on the field of play. I view them as cowards, they twist the word of God to justify their cowardice. They don't want to suffer, they don't want to endure grief, so they make up a doctrine justifying their cowardice.

22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Jesus was not crucified for sin or for guile. He was crucified for speaking the truth in love.

23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

Wow, we all will claim to commit ourselves to Him that judgeth righteously, but I am always hoping He'll step in and judge prior to me being scourged and crucified. I am crying "my God, my God, why have you forsaken me" long before I am nailed to that cross to die.

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

If you want to be healed of your evil nature simply meditate on Jesus going to the cross.

25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Jesus is leading us to salvation, you simply need to follow his lead and stop listening to your own good ideas.

Don't fall for Satan's temptation to go back on your testimony that Jesus Christ is Lord

1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

Peter lived at a time when James, Stephen and ultimately himself were martyred. It is difficult to see someone like Charlie Kirk assassinated and still refrain your tongue from evil. But that is the case, as Christians we speak no evil. There is no caveat, no exception to this rule. Also, we speak no guile, no deceptive, sneaky, crafty talk. We utterly reject evil, on the contrary we do good, even to our enemies, just as God does. We are peace makers. Satan is the one who is a thief, a liar and a murderer. If we go down that path we are one with Satan.

12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

People get outraged when you say this. But the Lord hears the prayers of the righteous. We must have a right standing with the Lord for Him to hear our prayers and evil speaking and speaking with guile is not a right standing. The Lord saw what happened to Stephen, God heard Abel's blood calling to Him, the Lord Jesus knows exactly what happened with Charlie Kirk, who is responsible, who is guilty, and His face is against them.

13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

The Lord puts a hedge of protection around those that are His and the only way Satan can touch you is if the Lord removes that protection. He won't do that unless you are arrogant and need to be taken down a notch. If you are spouting off evil or if you are speaking all crafty like the occultists.

14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

Being under the Lord's protection doesn't mean we won't suffer for righteousness sake. Think of a football team, we are on the field, there is blocking, tackling and being hit on every play. That is part of the game. But there is also a uniform that protects you, and if you are diligent to heed the Lord's instruction on how to prepare you are much less likely to get seriously hurt.

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

I'm not going to lift up some killer, or some liar, or some thief. These are all destined for the pit of hell unless they confess and repent and receive the blood of Jesus. That is my answer to them, they need to repent, Jesus is Lord and Jesus' blood can wash away your sins. He can redeem you from sin and you can be free, no longer held in fear by Satan.

16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

When a Christian speaks evil and his lips are filled with guile the evildoers are not "falsely accusing you" when they speak evil of you. Instead you have fallen into their trap. You are the one who will be ashamed when your conversation is not aligned with Jesus Christ who went to the cross so that we could be forgiven and who tells us that we are to do likewise.

17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

Think about that, if you are going to be killed wouldn't you rather it be for a testimony of Jesus Christ as savior than as some social justice self appointed avenger of all wrongs, a twisted version of a Christian who thinks they are batman?

18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

That is right, he suffered for the unjust. The fact that these people are unjust does not justify you tossing away all that we are commanded in taking up our cross and following Jesus.

19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

When the flood came the disobedient spirits were put into prison. When Jesus died He toured the prison and preached to them. God's judgement is coming, like a flood. At that time if you are obedient to the cross of Christ then you will be able to preach to them. But you don't get to preach to the disobedient spirits if you yourself are also disobedient to Jesus Christ.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: 22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Once again, all those evil spirits, fallen angels and demons are subject to Jesus Christ. They cannot touch you unless the Lord allows it. They are pawns that do His will. That was the point of your baptism, that was the testimony. Don't fall for Satan's temptation to go back on that testimony.
