After what we saw today, I think those "MASS ARRESTS" for TREASON are coming soon...

I have posted numerous prophetic speakings of big arrests in Washington DC (think of the book of Esther when Haman is caught with his plot to commit treason). This guy is laying out all the evidence that this will take place Tuesday.

Now according to the prophecies at the same time we have a collapse of the US dollar and silver and gold go through the roof. Think of Jesus flipping the money changers tables.

Also at the same time you will have a blackout of all communications. You don't want those involved in treason to be able to poison the well, you want to arrest them, then let everyone hear your case without anyone confusing the issue. That is what will take place.

This Tuesday may see many of these prophecies fulfilled.

Arm yourself with the same mind

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Arm yourself with the same mind that you are going to go through whatever suffering it takes. People love to debate who was the best boxer. They always look at the most skilled boxers. Mohammed Ali was very skilled, Mike Tyson was very skilled, there are others who were fast, had a unique style, some who were incredibly difficult to hit, etc. But in my mind there should not be any debate, we know who the best boxer was, it was Rocky Marciano. He was undefeated. People like to ignore him because he was not as skilled, didn't hit as hard as foreman, wasn't as big and fast as Ali, etc. Everyone agrees that on a scale of 0 to 10 when it comes to skill he was a 7 at best. But at the same time even Ali felt he was the only boxer that would have beaten him. What Rocky had was a mind to suffer. On a scale of 0 to 10 he was easily an 11. No one ever matched his training for a fight. A boxing match is a three minute mile run 12 times. It is a marathon composed of 12 3 minute sprints. Not only is it brutal but it is also exhausting. What Ali said was he knew he would not be able to knock out Rocky and he knew he would be coming after his just as hard in the 12th round as in the first. Many fighters could win the first few rounds against him, but they could never keep up with his pace, and they would get destroyed in the last six rounds.

Jerry Rice also had this same mind. People also said his training was so intense even NFL superstar receivers could not keep up with his training. Jerry wasn't the fastest, tallest, or most powerful receiver. But he was a receiver who could run full speed for all four quarters. The problem with many receivers is although they might only get four or five passes, they still have to run on 40 or 50 plays. All the other receivers feel if it is a run to the other side or some other play they can coast. Jerry didn't coast and as a result the defense couldn't coast and so when it came to the fourth quarter they were gassed and he wasn't.

Which explains the second half of this verse: he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin

Paul talked about this when he said he buffets his body. If you spend the day training with Jerry or Rocky there is no time or energy left to do anything else. He is giving 100% to the training and has nothing left to expend on living in the lusts of men. People have asked me what I do and after telling them they'll say something "but what do you do for fun". This is the issue, many people reserve 30% of their time each week for "fun", to "live in the lusts of men".

This in turn explains the second verse: That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

It seems like a repeat but in fact this makes perfect sense. Rocky is training for the fight, Jerry is training for the game. Their training is so that when they get to the game or the fight they won't be exposed. They said the same thing about Tom Brady, they said his practices were every bit as intense as the games. In verse 1 we realize how important it is to train in this way and in verse 2 we see it pay off.

The context is spiritual warfare. Think of the Seven Sons of Sceva, they got exposed when they got into the spiritual warfare. You can't live in the lusts of men and then for an hour pretend to be a spiritual warior.

Zephaniah 2:1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; 2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord's anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger. 4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.

A prophecy concerning the Left behind Christians

Zephaniah 2:8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.

We need to be very careful about pride, arrogance, magnifying ourselves, and reproaching and reviling others. Moab and Ammon are the children or Lot, the Bible says he was a righteous man. He wasn't in Hebrews 11, but he was a nephew of Abraham and so he is closely associated with the faith. I believe he represents organized Christianity, the big established churches that are "in the gate of the city" and play an important role. Sodom and Gomorrah being burned up with fire would be the start of the tribulation and Lot was not raptured, instead he fled to the mountains to live in a cave.

9 Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

This is the amazing thing, it is not unbelievers or Satanists who are reproaching and reviling Christians while they magnify themselves against them. It is people in organized Christianity.

10 This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the Lord of hosts.

We all need to deal with our pride, repent of it, plead the Lord's blood, be washed and forgiven for our pride, otherwise we will suffer the same fate. To be left behind is the ultimate rejection to those Christians who are proud and arrogant and magnify themselves against other believers.

11 The Lord will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

If you do not fear God you are a fool.

Zephaniah 3:1 Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!

When you see homeless camps in the cities, then you know it is an oppressing city. When you see street walkers, a lot of single parents and broken families, then you know this is a filthy and polluted city.

2 She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the Lord; she drew not near to her God.

God spoke, but they did not obey. God gave correction, but they refused to be corrected. Take a look at the US, we can easily see that God spoke and gave correction to the US. But in the last 150 years the US has refused correction, they have refused to trust in the Lord Jesus, and they have made it clear they will not draw near to our God. The public school is the single best place to see this because that is how the vast majority of the population is being indoctrinated.

3 Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.

How is it that people on government salaries go from having nothing to being multimillionaires? Something is very wrong when Nancy Pelosi gets a better return in the stock market than the very best investors who do this full time for a career.

4 Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.

This is the shocking thing, how many who claim to be Christians, who teach the word of God are in fact light and treacherous persons. A man of God should be weighty, not a vain fellow. But we have seen this time and time again where the pastors, preachers and teleevangelists turn out to have done violence to the law.

5 The just Lord is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

The pure word of God is being spoken every day, it is there, you can find it. But the unjust knoweth no shame. I have seen this. The insults they will hurl at others, the things they will do, their pride, their arrogance, they know no shame.

6 I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.

All you have to do is study history to see alll these great empires cut down, made desolate. Greece used to be great, now they are a waste. Egypt used to be great, now it is a pile of sand.

7 I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings.

Surely people will learn from history, but they don't they run after unjust gain like pigs being fattened for the slaughter.

8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

Wow, the Lord is telling you why He will gather them all to Armageddon. If you do not fear God you are a fool.

For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you

2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

In the Bible there are two Peters. One is Simon, he speaks according to his opinion, he is proud thinking that he alone will be faithful to the Lord, and he is an example to us all of how we are as disciples of the Lord without a renewed mind. The second is Peter, he has been transformed from Simon into Peter, a stone that has like precious faith with the other believers. He has become a stone because of the righteousness of God and of our Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

Simon did not have grace and peace. After denying the Lord he thought that was it. But Jesus death was not it, He rose from the dead, He conquered death, and that gave Simon a second chance to become Peter. It was the resurrection life of Jesus Christ that gave him grace and peace.

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

It is Peter that we see in the book of Acts. In the gospels we saw Simon, but in Acts we see Peter. He has been given the divine power and it pertains unto life and godliness. He preaches the gospel and three thousand are saved, he lays hands on a crippled man and he is healed. Peter is in the word and he is learning that the Lord has called us to glory and virtue.

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

His story is our story. The Bible is filled with great and precious promises and it is by these that each one of us can be partakers of the divine nature. God is love, we can partake of that, God is light we can partake of that, that light will shine on our path and guide us as wisdom, we can partake of that. We do not have to be stuck in a never ending story that Simon was in of thinking you are something only to fall flat on your face.

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

We get on this path of transformation by giving all diligence to get into the word, to partake of fellowship, to spend time in prayer and worship. At this time we can add virtue, we can add humility, we can add empathy, and compassion. This results in our being able to add to our virtue knowledge. You can know about the needs and concerns of others, you can know about God's provision and help in a time of need.

6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

Before you might have been a hot head, but you can add a temperance, an evenness that is balanced and measured. Before we wanted everything instantly but now you can add patience learning that the process is often just as important if not more important than the outcome. We learn to enjoy every step of the journey, not simply arriving at our destination. This in turn can be seen as godliness. Now you can see God's perfect will in everything. The mistakes are no longer mistakes, they are simply God teaching you another lesson, giving you a chance to partake more of His nature.

7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

Many of us are stunned at how unkind one "Christian" is to another on social media. Simon was a disciple of the Lord, he would have called himself a Christian, in fact according to Simon everyone else might deny the Lord but not him. There was no kindness, it takes a lot of transformation to have brotherly kindness. This is surprising when you go to any church everyone appears to be kind to one another, so then we can conclude that much of the "brotherly kindness" we see is simply an act, hypocrisy. Jesus told Peter that he would be sifted by Satan and after being sifted, after he himself is restored he needs to in turn restore others. We need to go through these kinds of sifting experiences before we can truly have brotherly kindness and ultimately charity. We love to use the word love instead of charity, but to me the word charity means our love is expressed through our actions.

8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

What a great expression. There are a lot of people who are not barren or unfruitful. They have multi million dollar ministries, they are reaching a million people. But Peter is not referring to them, he is referring to not being barren or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said that many will come to him saying did we not do this great work and that great work in your name and He will say "depart from me workers of iniquity I never knew you". To do a great work in the name of the Lord without the Lord ever knowing you, that simply means you did everything according to your own opinion, you were completely un transformed. You might have been redeemed, but you were Simon, not Peter.

9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Have you ever heard the saying "for the greater good"? What that saying means is that for the sake of your "great ministry" you are justifying not having things like charity and brotherly kindness. According to Peter anyone in this state is blind, he is speaking from experience, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. This destroys Calvinism. According to them if the Lord says "depart from me workers of iniquity" then you were never purged from your old sins. But according to Peter it is possible to be Simon, who is blind and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

This is the shocking thing to me. When I first learned this lesson my jaw hit the floor. Adding these virtues like temperance and patience and brotherly kindness is the way to make your election sure and make sure you never fall!

11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Peter was one of the two great ministries in the book of Acts. Peter had the keys to the kingdom, he was the one opening the door to the rest of us. If he were still Simon he would say he was ministering to you an entrance to the kingdom. But according to Peter what he was doing ministered unto him an entrance to the kingdom. He is telling us the path we need to walk to have an entrance ministered unto us.

2 Peter 1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. 13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; 14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

This is the word I got last night. Each of us has a temporary ministry and then we leave. The reason this blog is by "ZNP" is because it is a reference to Jesus Christ, the savior of the world. He is the one taking the lead, I am His coworker. My understanding is that this will be the last week for this blog. I may post a day or two next week, but unless something changes this will be the last full week for this blog. I will try to pack up, and by that I mean put the rest of the posts into a pdf making 13 in total.

15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

We are two thousand years removed from Peter but we can still remember these things because we have his letters, we have the gospels and we have the book of Acts. It is the same burden that I made the Pdfs.

16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

The great delusion is speeding towards us at an incredible rate. It will be a cleverly devised fable. The best protection is to pray for a revelation of Jesus Christ, that you would see His majesty.

17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

The best protection against being deceived is to have a personal experience of the Lord speaking to you. Pray for this.

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

This has been my emphasis in this blog. The word of God is the more sure word of prophecy. Yes, I have shared links to dreams and visions but that was in part because they are a fulfillment of the word of God and the sure word of prophecy. Regardless of how dark the place is that you are in, the light from the word of God can shine.

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

This is also a key emphasis of this blog. I did not try to build doctrines on a few cherry picked verses. We would go verse by verse through chapters and through every book in the Bible.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The only way all these pieces fit together from 66 books that were written over thousands of years is if they were written by God at the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

I share this because I think it is wonderful if the result of this event does cause many who are currently silent to speak. We don't have to think that these verses in John were fulfilled by this event, but rather that this event is pointing to these verses. I think it is certainly crystal clear there is a correlation between these verses and this event regardless of what time he was shot.

The Land of unwalled villages is referring to the US

Ezekiel 38:10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

Ever since 1948 Israel has been under attack. This is not some brand new thought.

11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

I was in England, they are not the land of unwalled villages, I visited York, I visited castles. I have been to Mexico, their houses are covered with bars, anyone with money has walled their compound and hired armed guards. The same is true of Columbia, Venezuela and much of central and South America. I have been to Taiwan, their apartments are also covered with bars to keep out thieves. They have pill boxes everywhere in the event of an attack, they have put deterrents on the beach to withstand an invasion. They are not a land of unwalled villages. My point is I have travelled all over the world and the only place like this is the USA, perhaps Canada as well. However, instead of realizing this is a prophecy about the US people try to say this will be Israel! Can you imagine? Right now the epitome of the opposite of the land of unwalled villages is Israel. When you understand the Lord's word that all things will take place during the terminal generation, the generation that included the formation of the UN and of Israel, then you realize there is no more time for this incredible transformation they are suggesting.

12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

Look at this verse. Does Israel have cattle? They have a miniscule amount of cattle, by contrast the US has a whole lot of cattle. The cattle in the US dwells in the midst of the land, not on the coastline, but in the middle of the country.

13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

If you took away all the cattle from Israel you could not call that "great spoil" but if you took all the cattle from the US that would be great spoil. Likewise with the silver and gold.

In the Old Testament Israel was divided into two kingdoms, Judah and Israel. Judah was two tribes and Israel was ten tribes. Israel was also called Ephraim, the younger son of Joseph who was more blessed than his older brother Manasseh. Joseph was given the blessing of scientists. It used to be that Germany was the world capital for scientists but at the time of WW2 that capital moved to the US. Germany is Manasseh and the US is Ephraim in this analogy. 49% of the world's Jews live in Israel and 49% live in the US, so in this analogy Israel today is Judah and the US is Israel, the ten tribes, the one with the blessing of the scientist.

We always hear that no one knows when the rapture will be. Of course the Lord never
said no one knows the year or the season, just the day and the hour. But suppose that
verse means “no one verse knows”. You see you can get one verse in Hosea that does
point to the year and you can get one verse in Amos that does point to the season and
one verse in Jeremiah that does point to the season. Now imagine each of these 108
Bible verses tell us something, none of them tell us “the day or the hour” but they each
narrow down the possible days and hours. In other words they could be a filter
removing days and hours that don’t fit.

Who is the Great Babylon

This Pdf goes through every verse in the New Testament and many in the Old referring to Babylon. I see which of the various interpretations fit. The main three are: Israel, Vatican and the US, though I also see if England fits any. I used to subscribe to the teaching of Darby and Watchman Nee on this, however, everyone should know that when they taught the US was not a superpower, Hollywood and Multinational corporations did not exist (true for Darby, Watchman Nee was around at the time of silent movies). The pandemic had not taken place and the apostasy in the US had not taken place. You could not compare the US to Sodom and Gomorrah at the time of Darby or Watchman Nee.

How God removes the dross from the church

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

In the previous chapter we see the word of God, in this chapter we see the contrast with the false prophets. A contrast will help us to see things even clearer and sharper. A lot of people worry about the FreeMasons and their plans and their designs. But they are false teachers. The first thing we see is they bring in their teachings "privily". This is a big contrast, the word of the Lord is spoken in the light, we preach from the street corner, there is nothing hidden. The false teachers are teaching "privily", it is in the dark, secret, hidden, with threats to those who hear not to tell anyone. False teachers are wolves in sheep's clothing. When you discover that a teacher pretends to be one person to the crowd but is a very different person in reality then you know, they are a false teacher. Also they "privily shall bring in", that is one word in the Greek, it means they are crafty, sneaky, they use the tricks employed in marketing, they are using the same craftiness as spin doctors. This word is unique to 2 Peter. Every book in the New Testament has a few unique words that they are the only ones that use, these words reveal the special burden for this book. Peter's burden in this book is to expose this craftiness of the false teachers. Witchcraft is called "the craft" because it also employs this craftiness. A heresy is a school of thought. Not all schools of thought are "damnable". What makes their school of thought damnable is that it even denies the Lord that bought them. They don't do this openly, brazenly, in the light. No it is secret, they will say very nice things about Jesus Christ, but there will be a "Jesus plus something else" requirement for salvation. That is one way they bring in the damnable heresy. What FreeMasons do is different, they require all their members to believe in God without identifying God's name. As a result a Christian could be taken in assuming that they are all believers in Jesus Christ. The secrecy, and oaths to secrecy should tip you off that this is not a Christian organization. Eventually as you move up in the ranks of FreeMasons they discover that the "God" they believe in is Satan, not Jesus. What is interesting is how swift the destruction will come on these ones. Cult leaders are usually exposed within ten or twenty years. As for FreeMasons they are like the mafia. Most mafiosos have a short life expectancy, very few of them make it to retirement. Even if they aren't arrested and imprisoned the mafia will be killed by other mafiosos.

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

This is a big tell tale sign of a false teacher, they have pernicious ways. There is a broad way that leads to destruction, that word Jesus used for destruction is this word being used for pernicious ways. Think about the FreeMasons, there is this threat hanging over everyone based on the oaths they made to secrecy. People understand in that organization that if you were to go against them you end up dead. Likewise with the Mafia, they understand that the Mafia will kill people to keep everyone in line. False teachers have pernicious ways, they must employ the threat of destruction. Maybe they don't kill you but they will destroy you. They can destroy your reputation, they can destroy you financially, etc. Any organization that employs this fear of being destroyed to keep the members in line is being run by a false teacher.

3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The problem with all those points is that you have to get deep enough into the organization to discover they have oaths of secrecy, that the teacher is a hypocrite, that there is this threat of destruction hanging over everyone. However, false teachers always operate through covetousness in order to make merchandise of you. A key principle to FreeMasons is that they must help fellow members advance their career if possible. That is the motive, that is the draw. Why do people join gangs like the Mafia? To make money. The gold chains, the fancy cars, that is the appeal. A very useful rule of thumb is that a false teacher pretending to be a Christian will be rich. He may live in a mansion, drive luxury cars, have a private airplane, etc. He will sell books and tapes. You can have a Christian who is not teaching accurately like Apollos, but if he is not making merchandise of you he is not a false teacher. He is simply ignorant or misinformed. My rule of thumb is that if a church is flush with cash, they have it all, big congregation, big ministry, great facility, then I avoid them. The way I see it either they are false teachers or if not, then whatever they share from the word I'll hear about. Now the leader of an organization like this will have a fabricated story, they have a made up story designed to portray him as "the apostle". This way he tells the story and you think "wow, he is the man of God with the special anointing". That is the goal of this story.

You may wonder if this guy is a false teacher deceiving so many why doesn't God judge him right now? God's judgment isn't slumbering, He knows what is going on, and He is using this false teacher. They appeal to people's lusts. Think of these false teachers as magnets to attract all the impurities in the Body of Christ into one place where it can be removed and judged. The church is supposed to be pure silver, these false teachers are attracting all the dross into one place.

God knows how to remove the dross

2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

The angels were coming into the daughters of men and creating a mixed breed of elites, mighty men.

5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

The flood did two things, it brought judgment on the corrupt and it also delivered the preachers of righteousness out.

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

God did not simply judge the angels that had fallen but also the men who gave themselves to do evil.

7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

There is a contrast here between Lot and Noah. Lot was a just man, but he didn't preach, and as a result he was vexed with the filthy conversation of those around him. It is interesting how today we think that conversation is different from behavior. But in the Bible they understand "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks". Our conversation reveals what is in our heart. This word vexed is used by Stephan when he says that Moses delivered the Egyptian that was "oppressed". So in the analogy we see a slave master beating and whipping a slave in an abusive way. Peter likens that to the conversation of the wicked. They intentionally say things to offend the just, this behavior this conversation is like a whip lashing those that are just. Noah was not like a slave, he took a stand, preached righteousness and faced this oppression head on. Many Christians don't, they let the enemy lash them on the back and behave like a slave. These are the two kinds, you have Noah taking a stand and you have Lot behaving like a slave.

8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds

Peter is really trying to hammer home this contrast. Lot sees what is going on, he hears what is going on, but he is silent. There are three monkeys, see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil. Lot has eliminated two of them, Noah has eliminated all three.

9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

This is the point, we are like purified silver. All these things happening to us are God's way of removing the dross. On the day of judgement the silver will be removed while the dross will be punished.

10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

The dross have a lot of traits that you will recognize. They walk after the flesh, they express the lust of uncleanness, and they despise government. They are presumptuous, self willed and are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. A real prophet would warn people of these things and tell them to repent of sins, but would not use insulting terms to refer to dignities.

They will perish in their own corruption

2 Peter 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. 12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

One thing I struggled with was this, if the whole world lies in the evil one then why are they fighting with each other? Why are the "white hats" and "black hats" seemingly fighting? What really helped me to understand is the movie the Godfather. In this story we see one mafia family, the Corleone family, fighting with the other four families. They try to assassinate the Godfather, but it fails. Then Michael who you might view as a "white hat" avenges the attempt on his father by killing two of these guys. Then there is a war that includes killing Sonny, the eldest son of the Godfather. They then make "peace" which is only biding time as Michael and Godfather plan on killing all of the heads of the families. Now think about this, they are all from Sicily, they are all related, think the same, believe the same things and yet they are killing each other. Why? Well they wanted to sell drugs and they knew if they are going to sell drugs they need the help of the judges that are in the control of the Corleone family, but the Godfather doesn't want to get involved in drugs because he knows his judges have not agreed to that. Think of this as a religion that worships money and power and uses murder, lies, and stealing to get what they want. If you try to stop them they will kill you. It isn't the police who kill them, it isn't the department of justice that arrests them, no they will perish in their own corrupt organization. I used to live in a town outside of NYC that was very safe at a time when people got mugged on the streets of NYC all the time. Someone explained to me why our town was so safe compared to the City. Apparently mid level mafiosos lived in our town and they didn't like crime where they live. Every now and then someone would get out of line and they would end up in a boating accident in the ocean, drowned. Also the police in our town was not like the police in the city, they were more like baby sitters. If kids committed some kind of small offense they didn't arrest them, they didn't book them, they called the parents, and the parents would come and deal with it. The police understood there were a lot of very rich and powerful people in that town, you might think a kid is a delinquent only to learn that his father was very powerful, better not to take any chances.

13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

How about that, there is a reward of unrighteousness. Think of the movie, Goodfellows. They make this huge heist, robbing a lot of money off an airplane. To the mobsters involved they thought they had won the lottery. But over the next few weeks everyone involved in that crime ended up dead. The guy who engineered the crime was paranoid one of them would get arrested and then rat him out. This is the "reward of unrighteousness". You become paranoid and for good reason because either you end up dead or you end up totally paranoid. In that movie you see how everyone is feasting with everyone, pretending to be all one big happy family when in reality they are all liars and deceivers. The people they were really paranoid of was each other.

14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

Your best friends in the mob are adulterers who will sleep with your wife when you are in jail. They aren't simply covetous, they have exercised their heart with covetous practices. To them it is a science, they are experts like a prize fighter. And when you get to know them you realize they are all cursed children.

15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

We think of Balaam as a false prophet or false teacher like you might find pretending to be a Christian preacher. But think of the mafia, they all love the wages of unrighteousness. Think of corrupt judges, police, politicians, they all love the wages of unrighteousness. This is the clue, this is how they signal one another. There is a wink, a nod a hint of the wages of unrighteousness. That is the lure. If the person responds justly, then they will vex that person. But if the person responds in a way that indicates they love the wages of unrighteousness then they know they have found a person they can work with. Again, this is how God gathers all the dross together to be punished.

16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

This was the last rebuke that Balaam got. If you go to hell you will have no one to blame but yourself. God will have warned you repeatedly, even a dumb ass will speak to you rebuking your madness. God is not tempting you, your lusts are tempting you. God warned you and rebuked you, but you ignored the word of God. You were told that God is a discerner of the hearts and yet you didn't fear even though you knew your heart was black and thought of nothing but sin. Samson slew the Philistines with the jawbone of an ass. Some people liken certain powerful people as having the jawbone of an ass. This is the final rebuke before you make the choice to go to hell, it is your last warning to repent.

Just like Michael Corleone killing all his enemies, it is the mafia that kills the mafia. They perish in their own corruption. Don't think that because this political leader is in the Freemasons he won't kill these other ones who are also Freemasons. You can call Michael the white hat and the other four families the black hats, but in reality they are all mafiosos that love the wages of unrighteousness and that will all perish in their corruption.

Wells without water

2Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

So lets now look, not at the thugs on the street, but the wells of water. It takes a lot of effort to dig a well and when you do it is considered a very valuable thing to have. It is like having a judge in your pocket, or a man on the police force who gives you tips to when the police raid is coming. But they also buy off preachers of churches. Why? Well lets say we want to have an unconstitutional shutdown of the economy to really cripple the middle class. This violates the constitutional protection to the church and to assembly. But if the preachers all go along, then you wont' have any trouble. Imagine if all the preachers said "no, this is unconstitutional". There would be no way to get this through. I saw this in NYC, when they tried to mandate the vaccine to teachers about 50% of the teachers had not gotten the vaccine and didn't want it. We had a "powerful" union, and if the union had said no, that would have been that. But the union didn't say no even though half the members didn't want this. The union did nothing and so the deadline approached and more and more teachers, fearing they would lose their jobs, felt they had no choice. The union stabbed them in the back. Again, an example of a well without water. Money was taken out of every paycheck of the teachers to support the union and when they needed the union to back them up, there was no water, no help.

18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

They lure you in with words of vanity. It could be very eloquent, could be soaring rhetoric, whatever, it is vanity. When push comes to shove that word will vanish like smoke in the wind.

19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

Think of the politicians always making promises they can't keep. Every single election they promised to clean up the crime and the drugs and the gangs and yet did nothing. Now with Trump we see them actually doing something. He is hitting them from every angle, he is using the military to cut off their smuggling on land, the sea and the air. He is using the military to go after their factories. He is using the military to track down their suppliers. He is using ICE to deport all the illegals that are here, and He is shutting down the border. They are having great success and guess who is complaining about this? All those politicians who promised to do something but never did. They were servants of corruption, they were being paid off by these criminals. Now that the criminals are being wiped out so also is the money going to the politicians and the politicians are crying about this.

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

So this is the way of the world, this is the temptation we are always faced with if you live in this dark age. Jesus saved us from this. But many, many so called Christians return to this. It is the way they were raised, the way they were trained. We need to have our minds renewed with the word of God. We need the mind of Christ. We need to take up our cross and follow Jesus. But instead of taking the narrow way that leads to life they choose the broad way that leads to destruction.

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Apparently there are different levels to hell and some are worse than others, hence some are better than others. But this word obliterates the OSAS doctrine that once you have known the way of righteousness you can never go to hell.

22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

OK, we all must understand what Peter is saying. When you come to the Lord and pray to be forgiven you might be a dog, you might be a pig, but the Lord's blood will wash you of your sins and you will be forgiven. For freedom Christ has set you free. Imagine a human being with one of these unclean natures is in the dungeon. The Lord's blood breaks the chains and opens the prison door. But this guy decides he doesn't want to leave the prison. Yes, the Lord's blood broke those chains, but we also need to have a new heart and a renewed mind. For that to happen you must spend time in the word of God every day. This is not some instantaneous process of being transformed. Every day there is a little transformation, a few molecules a day. If ten molecules are transformed every day then after a year you have 3,500 molecules that are transformed, and after ten years it is 35,000 molecules. This is the process of sanctification. Justification is instantaneous, but sanctification takes your entire life.

The church is the Jerusalem which is above

Zechariah 2:1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. 3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, 4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: 5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

If our stand with the Lord is right then He will be a wall of fire around the church and the glory in the midst of her.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord. 11 And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee. 12 And the Lord shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. 13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Clearly this is a reference to the church with Jesus Christ in our midst. We will inherit with Jesus just as the wife inherits with the husband.

Jesus is Joshua

Zechariah 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. 2 And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

When Jesus was crucified He was taken without the camp and crucified as a common criminal. According to the book of Hebrews we are also to go outside the camp and bear His reproach. If we are one with Jesus then we will be just like this Joshua, a brand plucked out of the fire indicating our salvation from hell, wearing filthy garments indicating our past life of sin.

4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

After being saved we are washed with pure water and clothed with a robe of righteousness indicating a new life that is in obedience to the Lord. This is telling us that despite the fact that we were going to hell and living in sin we can still be transformed into someone that expresses Jesus Christ, the high priest.

5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by.

This mitre indicates authority. We have been given the name of the Lord and all the demons and fallen angels must respect that because the penalty to them if they don't respect that is horrific. Jesus told the disciples "If you have seen me you have seen my Father". It should be the same with us, if you have seen us you have seen the Lord Jesus.

6 And the angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying, 7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

Jesus is the Lord of hosts, but if you read this you will see that if Joshua will obey the Lord of Hosts then the two are indistinguishable.

8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.

The branch is a reference to Jesus, the nazarite. But Jesus told us that He was the vine and we are the branches.

9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Like Peter we are transformed into a stone and a stone with seven eyes. We can see what is going on everywhere on earth.

10 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

This is interesting, they are operating out of hate. Think of how many rulers hate the US. For example, when the Jews first returned to the land of Israel there was very little hatred for them. Yes, there were terrorist attacks from the very beginning, but for many of the surrounding countries they seemingly ignored Israel. But as Israel grew and prospered it exposed how corrupt and inept the leadership was of the other countries and so the hatred for Israel grew.

It is the same with the US, envy fuels the hate.
