The scoffers will all run and hide after the rapture

2 Peter 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

In this blog I have tried to go through all these words by the prophets concerning the scoffers, as well as the examples given to us in Israel's history and as well as the words of the Lord Jesus Christ as well as the other apostles. I am continually reminded that God is a discerner of the heart. These scoffers, their heart is being discerned and those that shrink back because of them, their heart also is being discerned. I like to think of our Christian life as sailing on a boat. You have to be able to cut through the waves and sail against the wind. You can't sail straight into the wind, but you can sail 30 to 45 degrees off of straight into the wind. This is why you need a good keel to keep you anchored in the water so that the wind doesn't simply push you around. To me the scoffers, that is just the wind from Satan.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

They are "willingly ignorant". I drove to Portland Oregon coming down from Idaho and I was able to see directly the result of the flood. They call it the Great Missoula Flood, but in reality it is Noah's flood. They are willingly ignorant, hence the reason they call it the Great Missoula flood. At that time they say more water was flowing through the Columbia Gorge than flows through all the rivers on earth. The flood was massive, it was worldwide and it was as described in the Bible.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

If you use this calculation Jesus was crucified at the end of the fourth day. We have a very strong case to say that Jesus was crucified in 32 AD, and so 2032 will be the end of the sixth day and the start of the seventh day. This is one reason why we think that the seven year period prior to Armageddon starts in 2025. Another reason is that Trump and Netanyahu just agreed on a peace plan that might be the one Daniel talks about at the start of the seven year period known as the 70th week for Israel.

The Lord does not want any to perish

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Some of the ugliest and nastiest things said by the scoffers is because they don't appreciate that the Lord does not want any to perish. If you call a believer a false prophet, a false teacher or a false witness, that is a very serious accusation. If you are wrong the judgment is that "as you have judged you shall be judged". If you are wrong in calling a believer a false witness, well then, you are the false witness. It is stunning to me how ignorant many of these people are who are making these claims. Recently we had a guy named Joshua who confidently affirmed that the rapture would be on September 23, 2025. When it didn't happen they all came out accusing him of being a false prophet. The problem is that this is not the criteria given in the Bible for a False prophet. The second even bigger problem is that when Jesus was on earth he was operating under the Julian calendar which is still being used today. These people assume that September 23 is on the Gregorian calendar but there is no valid reason to make that assumption. If Jesus was speaking based on the Julian Calendar then September 23 is equivalent to October 6 on the Gregorian calendar. These are two reasons I am not about to conclude anything about what Joshua said. Peter gave us the criteria for a false prophet. Joshua did not make merchandise off of anyone and he did not deny the Lord who redeemed us. Those are the key criteria for a false prophet.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Consider the flood, it came as a thief in the night. Yes people were warned, yes Noah was preaching the gospel to them to repent, but in the end they all perished. Likewise, when fire fell on Sodom it came as a thief in the night. Once again Lot was trying to get others to leave with him, but in the end almost everyone perished.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

When everything is burned up that will be a big loss to many, many people. But then for those of us who are not burned up we will be able to inherit the earth. We will rule and reign with Jesus Christ. Think of the fall of man as man giving Satan a lease on the earth. We were supposed to have dominion but we ceded it to Satan because we liked the wisdom we could get from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God said that this lease would last for 120 years which we interpret to mean 120 periods of 50 years, or 6,000 years. This is a second reason we are now thinking that Satan's lease on the earth has run out.

Fan the fire into flames

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us; 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

John was called by the Lord when he was mending the nets. His ministry takes place at the very end, the conclusion to the apostolic age. During Acts we see great persecution against the church just like what we will see during the tribulation. We saw two witnesses, Peter and Paul, just like what we will see during the tribulation. We saw all the other apostles martyred and John alone is left, again just like what we will see during the tribulation. We also know that there will be a remnant, those who are alive and remain at the very end, and I believe this is what John's ministry is directly speaking to.

When everything is destroyed, everything is wiped out, go back to the beginning. Go back to the word that we heard from the very beginning. Remember your experiences of the Lord that you had, that you saw, and those are the things that you should declare.

This reminds me of camping, at night you have a nice fire going, then you go to sleep. In the morning the fire seems to be dead, but you start blowing on those coals, throw a little kindling on the fire and you can get those coals to burst back into flame. That is what John is doing, to get these saints to have fellowship with "us". The Christian life is a corporate life. You don't need two or three thousand, all you need is two or three to have "us".

This is the message

1 John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

When is your joy full? In my experience you have to work on something that took you years of effort and now finally it is complete. Think of when the Jews built the temple in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah. It was a corporate effort a corporate battle and now it is complete and you are there dedicating that Temple. That is when your joy can be made full. John is giving us the word that can help us get to that point.

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

This is a massive temptation. Basically FreeMasons are those that believe in God but are walking in darkness. Any secret society is operating in darkness. This is the temptation of the persecution, force the church underground and then if the church is operating in secret so easy to walk in darkness.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

This is a second major temptation in the church, to try and reconcile the things you do during the week with you being a Christian who goes to church on Sunday. This is Michael Corleone using the Church as his PR organization to polish his image. When you take this path you become a hypocrite, going to church is simply putting on your "I'm a good Christian" mask.

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

This is why so many people are exhibiting mental health issues today. They are not walking in the light, they are creeping about in the darkness doing evil things that they don't want exposed by the light. They don't have fellowship with one another, we need fellowship to be healthy mentally. Instead it is as though they are in solitary confinement. You can't really have fellowship with people who are walking in darkness, that is the point, they are being secretive, hiding the things they are doing. Finally they are overwhelmed with the guilt from sin. As much as they want to deny it, hide it, cover it up they know that one day they will have to give account for these things. That guilt and shame is like a heavy weight that they are exhausted trying to bear.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

This is a whole new temptation. These are Christians who consider themselves to be self righteous. We are to hate the sin but love the sinner, in this case they wind up hating the sinner. They are judgmental, self righteous and holier than thou. This is another deception and the truth is not in any group like this.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This is a really crucial concept. Everyone is a sinner, Jesus' blood cleanses us from all sin. However, we must confess that sin. If you do then the Lord is faithful to forgive you. That is the point of the church age, the age of grace, it is an opportunity for sinners to come to the throne of grace and get help. The Lord knows we are all sinners, we all need help, all we need to do is confess our sin and He will be there. He is also just to forgive us our sins. In order to forgive sins you have to pay the full price for the sin. Whatever your sin is, Jesus' blood pays the full price and so it is just that you are forgiven. If your sin is so bad you feel the only way to atone is for you to die, well, the Lord took your place on that cross and died so that you could live.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

This is weird, at first it seems there is no false teaching that teaches this. But then you learn of false teachers and sometimes their "story" would make it seem that they are special, they have a special anointing and they have not sinned.

Then of course the term "FreeMason" basically refers to the fact that they teach we are free from sin because we are no different from animals in the jungle. Satanists and pagans may teach this that there is no such thing as sin.

But notice this last phrase "His word is not in us". That sums up this chapter, if you are walking in darkness, if you don't have fellowship with the Lord, if you are weighed down by the guilt of your sins then "His word is not in you". That is the fundamental problem and the solution is to handle the word, to remember the word spoken to you that first made a difference to you, and to declare that to one another so that we could all have fellowship.

11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.

13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

14 But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.

Quick Summary over this Peace agreement proposed by Trump by Amir Tsarfati.

I think his first point is that Hamas will never agree to it, revealing that they only exist to be a terrorist organization and have no aspiration at all to be a peaceful nation. He uses Iran as an example of this how they prefer to be crippled by sanctions rather than to reveal their stockpile of enriched uranium.

His second point is that the whole world is now on the side of Israel because they agreed and so they will put maximum pressure on Hamas to agree. So we can expect that Hamas will agree, the whole world will rejoice "peace and security" but Hamas will be lying, they will be planning a huge surprise attack, a sudden destruction.

In order to make peace you must have a peace offering. This deal has a peace offering, Hamas is to be sacrificed and that will make peace. Hamas is not going to agree, they may lie, they may say they agree, but they in turn will need to sacrifice someone or something and for them they will not agree to be the sacrifice. What can they do? The only other potential sacrifice that could make peace is. the US. If the US were the one that were sacrificed it would change the entire equation. This is why the Bible tells us "when they say peace and security, then sudden destruction".

The third point which is implied but not stated is that Trump's plan is to turn Gaza into one of the greatest real estate development projects ever. It has the potential to be just prime real estate for the things Trump builds. However, the prophecies in the Old Testament concerning Gaza being turned into chaff and never being rebuilt are so clear, what Trump envisions will never happen. This is how we know that instead of a great real estate development project what we are really going to see is a great knife in the back. The Bible prophecy that they will say peace and security followed by sudden destruction can be called "The Great Betrayal". That is what we are about to see.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

I saw what looked like an atlas with interstate lines all over the nation but they were flashing with bits of information going all over them. It appeared to be a network overworked as some of the data points were not flashing and there were small workers in white lab coats working on getting them back on line. I could also see areas heating up and heard concerns that the circuits were going to go hot and get fried if they could not slow the system down. Suddenly from the west coast to the Midwest, there were big flashes then smoke from the data points that represented the bigger cities and they stopped on the western side of the Mississippi. [Not explosions] The lab coats guys worked feverishly to fix it but could not get the system back on line, so instead they rerouted and got the areas close to the bigger cities back on line while the bigger cities still sent up smoke clouds. There was a countdown clock that started at 10 and when it reached 1, the eastern side of the Midwest started having the flash-points and the cities there began to smoke and the circuits were fried as before.

But when the flashes reached Philadelphia, the network line which was red and flashing went into where the Liberty Bell was sitting. The line went directly underneath the bell and began to pulse. It looked like a red firehouse that was flashing and building up pressure and when it blew, it sent the liberty bell into the air where it was cut entirely in half. When it landed, both sides fell on their rounded edge and not the flat edge down made by the split in the bell. They both rolled back and forth for a time then both stopped rocking and began to melt like heat was being applied.

What I saw next was the lines of data all headed for Washington D.C and it looked like the city had octopus arms fighting to disconnect the data lines from entering the city. There was one though that kept flashing and building up in its pulses, even though there were people in suits and ties trying to pull its connections out of the capital building. It finally blew up and the building cracked in half and issues a huge smoke cloud that spelled the word “discovery.” There were people running at this point but not from the explosion, but from the word in the sky.

Then I saw the rotunda of the capital and a closed casket and it stated that inside was the democratic candidate for the office of President and there was a calendar hanging above the casket with the date of December 17th circled. One of his sons was there but not the other and his wife sat looking down. There were many congressman and senators from both parties in the room and they all had their heads down looking at the floor and were shaking them violently. All of their shoes had been piled in the doorway when they walked in and most of them were barefooted. A prominent senator stood and demanded to see the body but the sergeant of arms rushed to the casket with several Marines and said, “There will be no viewing of the body today or ever again. The senator sat down and collected himself, then walked over and dug through the pile of shoes until he found his pair, put them on and rushed out the door at a sprinters pace. Smoke was still rising as he ran towards the White House with both fists clenched and curses on his lips as he ran. He stopped for a moment near the Washington Monument and looked back to see about 20-25 others following but holding their shoes in their hands while they walked. He told them to hurry, but they continued their steady and slower pace. He then sneered at them and the white house and began sprinting towards it again.

At this time I saw the man that I had seen in the previous dreams standing in the place where the President gives the State of the Union address. He tapped the microphone three times and stated in a loud voice, “A house divided against itself SHALL not stand.” (and the emphasis was on the word shall.” He then pushed the microphone down and walked to the door at the rear of the room. On the wall were several light switches and he flipped them all off. And that was the end of the dream. He walks out the door and pulls the door shut. I awoke.

Dana shared that the prominent senator who shuts off the lights is Chuck Schumer. It seems five years later this dream is being fulfilled. It also seems that we are experiencing "Discovery" concerning the stolen election and Biden being unable to actually be the president with the autopen revelations.

God's judgment on Gaza

Amos 1:6 Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom: 7 But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof: 8 And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord God.

Psalm 83 describes the confederacy that we saw against Israel that began October 7, 2023. This includes everyone who attacked Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. Here is the conclusion of that Psalm

Trump's peace plan and the Sudden Destruction

1 Thessalonians 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

As a rule we should understand the day of the Lord as the one thousand year Millennial reign. But this is not about the thousand years, it is about the time period right before the thousand years starts, that is "the coming of the day of the Lord". The first use of this word cometh is in Matthew when the Magi came to Jerusalem and said they are come to worship the Lord and then Herod told them to send word again to Him if they found the king so that he could come and worship also. You can use this word for someone coming and also for someone returning. So then the millennial kingdom comes, or arrives, as a thief in the night. The very first use of this word thief is in the Lord's word to us to not lay up for yourselves treasure where thieves break through and steal. Therefore we should be looking for a thief coming to basically rob everything so that the people will own nothing. Paul is reminding us of this word of the Lord, lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven where thieves don't break in. We know the day of the Lord will come with a really big thief, the Antichrist, who will rob the entire world. We also know that prior to this we will be snatched out of the way of the sudden destruction. This is a very fundamental teaching of the New Testament. So then what is happening in China, Vietnam and a number of other countries with the collapse of the economy is a very big sign of the coming of the Lord. True, we have had other financial collapses, but when you talk about global financial collapse they are much rarer. However, since the Jews returned to Israel in 1948 this would be the very first total financial collapse we have seen. Gold has increased 4 fold in the last ten years, silver is increasing faster than gold and the short positions on silver have lost well over a trillion dollars in the last couple of years. But a financial collapse of China and the US would be the single biggest global financial collapse during this age with Israel being a nation.

The first question of course is "who is the they?" Since the context is that we are children of light and not in darkness, we would refer to children of light, and "they" would refer to the children of the darkness. They are of the darkness, they are the ones who sleep and are drunken at night. This word "say" is from a root word which means to lay down to sleep. It means to enumerate, to recount. So think of a lawyer summing up the case and "putting it to bed" at the end of a trial. The first time this is used in the Bible is in the verse "of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ". Think of someone saying "who is called Christ, case closed". So this whole issue with trying to come up with a peace plan has been a long trial, but then when they say "peace and safety, case closed" well that is the idea here. Peace refers to prosperity, and security refers to saying this thing is safe, it won't collapse. However, sudden destruction comes upon them. Therefore this was a lie. It wasn't simply spoken by fools, but it was spoken by those who were one with Satan the liar, the thief and the murderer. This word translated "cometh" is not the same word in verse two of the day of the Lord cometh. This word is first used when the angel of the Lord came upon the shepherds to tell them that Jesus had been born. It will be sudden, like they were laying in wait and by the time you see it you are already overwhelmed. We have seen the coming of this financial collapse for several years, it is a slow, steady move towards insolvency, but the sudden destruction, that will happen to people instantly without any warning. Now think about this they tell you peace and security but in reality they know they are planning a Pearl Harbor like attack. This will be the ultimate betrayal. Compare this to Judas betraying Jesus with a kiss. Right now there is a peace plan that the US and Israel have agreed to as well as many other nations including Qatar. All they need is for Hamas to agree. If they can do that then it will be peace, prosperity, security, etc. But instead we will get the ultimate betrayal. Think about this, if Hamas agrees it will be great for Israel, great for the US, but terrible for Russia, terrible for China, terrible for Iran, terrible for North Korea and Venezuela. All of their hopes and aspirations will evaporate and disappear like smoke. However, a horrific, surprise attack similar to Pearl Harbor only a hundred times bigger would change all that. Pearl Harbor is a good example of "sudden destruction". Also this "like travail on a woman in labor" that also is similar to Pearl Harbor. Think of WW2 as the travail and labor that brought forth the UN and brought forth the nation of Israel. This time the sudden destruction will bring forth the Antichrist rule. I suspect that the rapture coincides with this sudden destruction because the word "Harpazo" means to be snatched out of the way of sudden destruction.

Discerning those that are liars from those that are telling the truth

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

One of His commandments is that we must take the blood of Jesus to wash away our sins. If we sin our conscience will condemn us, we must confess, repent, and ask for Jesus' blood to wash away our sins. Sometimes that is all, but sometime the Lord will tell us to apologize or to make restitution. That also is His commandment, so you must keep that as well. One false doctrine is that once you are saved you cannot sin anymore, that is bogus. Another false doctrine is of the FreeMasons which says we are free from sin, that also is false.

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

So we can discern liars by how they deal with sin. There is one way to deal with sin for everyone, you must confess, repent and obey the Lord's commandments. If you see anyone try to explain or justify why that does not apply to them they are a liar.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

This one test is an excellent way to discern those who speak the truth from those who are a liar.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

But then there is another false doctrine which says we are all sinners, but because we prayed twenty years ago to the Lord we are saved and we are going to heaven regardless of whether or not we are currently living in sin. That is a bogus doctrine. If you are claiming to abide in the Lord then you should walk even as He walked. This is another way to discern who is a liar and who is telling the truth. Did Jesus go around with gold chains, luxury cars and private airplanes? Did He live in a mansion or did He say He had no place to lay His head? Of all the things Jesus said in the New Testament, how often was he asking for money and saying that if you give money to His ministry you will be blessed? Jesus told us to store our treasure up in heaven, that could certainly apply to giving to His ministry, but it would apply to many, many other things. If you are in a "church" or under a "pastor" who tells you that you must give to His ministry and not to many other charities then you need to leave. That is a liar. If he says you need to read his books but no one else, you need to leave, he is a liar. The truth is not in him.

Who is Peter to tell us this?

1John 2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

Dealing with sin by using a sin offering is an old commandment. It was given to us in Leviticus. The books of Moses are the beginning of the Bible. In fact we first see this principle when Adam and Eve sinned and god slew an animal and covered them with animal skins.

8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

However, this old testament commandment has been made new with the crucifixion of Jesus. They were in darkness before, not realizing that Jesus Christ would be their sin offering.

9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

This is an excellent test, but how do you know if the person is your brother or not? Many of these preachers will claim that this group or that group is not right with the Lord. Some think if you are not using the King James version then you are not right with the Lord. The answer for me is I am never sure, and it is better to be safe than sorry. Therefore don't hate anyone. I can talk about doctrine, I can talk about sin, I can talk about the Bible. But when it comes to judging a person, just leave that up to the Lord Jesus. All judgment has been given to the Lord. The only way you can truly judge a person is if you are omniscient. Therefore if you judge a person there is the inherent claim of being omniscient and of being "the judge". Both of those claims can be considered as rebellion against the Lord's headship and Lordship. As a result you will open. a door for the enemy to attack you. Don't do it.

10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

What if your brother is mistaken, what if he is wrong about doctrine, what if, what if? There is no caveat here, if you love your brother regardless, you are abiding in the light and there is no occasion of stumbling in you. What if your brother just insulted you on social media? You can be offended, you can be angry, just don't sin. Take it up with the Lord. Let Jesus judge, there is no reason to allow hate to have a home in your heart.

11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

OK, you don't think you are in darkness, fine. Do you hate anyone? I don't want to hear "that person is not saved". You are not omniscient, you don't know what that person's relationship is with the Lord. So don't claim that you are. Do you hate anyone? If so you are blind, you don't know where you are going and you are in darkness.

12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.

Many will ask "why would the Lord forgive me?" It is for His name's sake. In this age Jesus Christ is being revealed as the Savior. The fact that He saves you and your testimony of salvation are a revelation of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.

13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.

So let us all pray that we would have a relationship with the Father and we would know Him, that we would overcome the wicked one, and that we would know Him that is from the beginning. I was a Christian for fifty years before I got the revelation that a thought, a desire, an unspoken prayer I had had when I was twelve was the beginning of my Christian life and that Jesus heard that prayer and answered it. I had known the father for years, I had battled and overcome the wicked one already, but that was the first time I truly knew Him who was from the beginning. I was overwhelmed, "He heard that?" and "He answered that?" and "He has treasured that all this time!"

14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

OK, since this is true, what are you going to do about it? When you realize how important one little thought prayer was from a twelve year old it really turns you to prayer. When you realize you are strong, the word of God abides in you and you have overcome the wicked one, then it motivates you to take the fight to the evil one. Before we were on defense, but now, let's go on offense.

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

We are in a reciprocal relationship. We are praying and have faith that the Lord and the Father will answer our prayers. But this is a two way street. You expect God to love you, well do you love Him?

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Let's dig down a little deeper. You say these things are OK, they are not bad, God doesn't mind. OK, what are these things? A new car, a nice house, a good paying job, are you sure this is not the pride of life? Even worse, are you going to the gym for your health or for the lust of your eyes and the lust of the flesh? Yes, we must eat to live, but are you eating Babylon's dainties or are you eating Daniel's diet?

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Who is Peter to tell us this? Well he lived 2,000 years ago, an uneducated fisherman, and yet we are reading him even today. Other than the people who wrote the books in the Bible there are very, very few people that this can be said of. Peter denied the Lord but his sins were forgiven, so that is who he is. He also overcame the wicked one and He knew Him who was from the beginning, so there is that as well. He is also the one who said "I go fishing" and the Lord talked to him about what did he love more, Jesus or these fish, so he can also talk about not loving the things in the world.

Are you certifiably nuts?

1John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Instead of worrying about who "the" antichrist is, take a look at the many antichrists. Nero was one of many antichrists. He wanted some land, the people wouldn't sell it to him, so he burned down their homes and then bought the land for a fraction of the price. Recently we have seen several fires in prime real estate in Hawaii and California. If you examine these events you will see we still have many antichrists in our midst who learned from and are imitating Nero. Hitler was another antichrist, he stirred up world war with his rhetoric. He wanted to bring in the third Reich to Germany, make them a mighty nation again after their ignominious defeat in WW1. Study all the examples of antichrists we have seen in human history from Nero to today and you will be much clearer at seeing the Antichrist when he comes.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Atheists and agnostics are not the problem. The problem is not even pagans, those in the occult and satanists. No the problem is those who were Christians and have gone out from us. They are like Balaam, they know how to coach the unbelievers in combatting the church. They are also like Judas betraying believers to the unbelievers.

20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

What we need to do more than anything is focus on the anointing we have from the Holy Spirit. We need to learn to listen to and heed that still small voice.

21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

If you are confused the issue is not that you don't know the truth, you do. The issue is that no lie is of the truth. You have embraced a lie along with the truth. Let me give you one possible example. You are a young believer, absolute for the Lord, you want to get involved in ministry, you feel led by the Lord, but then you see this powerful ministry and think, it would be better if I joined them. They have money, they already are effective, I can help with this ministry. The problem with joining another ministry is you must obey the person running that ministry. One minute the Lord is leading you and now you have switched horses and are going to let this Christian minister lead you. This might be where the Lord is leading you, but if that is so then don't try to sell me on how you can do more because they have money, a podcast, or any of that other stuff. For example, I was at the Charlie Kirk memorial sitting up in the nosebleed section of the stadium. I am looking out over this massive stadium that was filled to capacity. They told us that it was 100k people. 700k people have read this blog, so I am thinking that is 7x what I am looking at. Granted, millions of people have watched Charlie Kirk's podcast and memorial service. But Turning Point has about 500 people on staff. So I have not impacted as many people as that ministry, but if you divide the millions they have impacted by 500 I have done as well if not better. I have no money. I have no TV show, no advertising, no political backers. I also don't have anyone other than the Lord Jesus telling me what to do. And trust me, Jesus tells me what to do. Usually it is a small voice, but if I ignore it, if I keeping trying to put it off then He puts His foot down. This ministry is full consecrated to Him so He steps in and says "This is my ministry, I want this" and there is no arguing about it. But if I was working for Turning Point the orders would come from them, not necessarily from the Lord. We don't need money to have a ministry, that is a lie. What we need is to be tuned to the Holy Spirit, that is the only thing you need for a ministry.

22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the king. The antichrist is like King Saul, 'I have the army, I have the money, etc.' Yes, King Saul had that, but he didn't have the anointing. David had the anointing. If you think you need anything other than Jesus the Christ for your ministry you have denied the Father and the Son. They are omnipotent and omniscient. They will not share their glory with anyone. Be like Abraham who told the King of Sodom he would not take so much as a shoe lace from him.

23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

What you need more than anything in a ministry is God the Father and God the Son. Just look at the apostles after the resurrection. They had nothing, and yet their ministry has stood strong for two thousand years.

24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

The apostles ministry is what we have heard from the beginning. What more could you possibly want for your ministry than to have a ministry like Peter's or Paul's.

25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

What exactly is the promise they are giving you, here you can work for us, we have a nice building, a TV show, a parsonage and a good salary. All those things will perish in the fire. Why would you trade eternal life for things that will go up in smoke?

26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Oh, you need to go to seminary. Really? Did Peter go to seminary? Who taught Peter? The anointing did. Why on earth would you want a different professor from the anointing? You have been given the single best teacher there is, don't trade in the anointing for some poor excuse of a professor.

28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
Abiding in Him is equated with doing righteousness. What that is, you need the anointing to tell you. Imagine at the time of Noah there was someone who had a soup kitchen. He might have thought he was doing righteousness, and he might have thought Noah was off his rocker, but in the end Noah was the one obeying the Holy Spirit. That is what it means to do righteousness. Likewise with Gideon and 300 men going up against a huge army. Likewise with David fleeing from King Saul. Doing righteousness is always contrary to our natural concept. The natural man does not understand, to him David is supposed to submit to Saul, Gideon is a fool and will get those 300 men killed, and Noah, he is certifiably nuts.

Do you realize the natural man had the same opinions about the 12 apostles?

Gradually then Suddenly

If you look at the price of silver you will see that it is rising at an exponential rate. A Year ago it went up a little for the first six months, twice as much over the next three months, twice much again over the next two months, and twice as much again over the last month. Prior to Silver breaking 40 people thought it would just bounce back and forth but since then it has gone up to 48 very rapidly. This is how exponential growth works, at first it doesn't seem all that much, then things start happening but you think it is simply a spike and it will come back down, but then it breaks free and you are off to the races.

In the same way they are applying this logic to AI and robots. There are a lot of robots doing jobs but for the most part we don't see them. And we don't see them taking jobs because the jobs they are taking are from factories in the Far East and China. We see self checkout cash registers replacing cashiers, and we are seeing DOGE making large cuts, but they are obscuring a political battle with people being replaced by AI. We are also seeing that it is very hard for college graduates to get jobs, but layoffs are only in the tech sector. So without people being fired people assume nothing is really happening. However, when Citibank can replace people with AI then every other bank can as well. When Merril Lynch can use AI for trading then every other broker can as well. When companies use AI to do your tax returns then every company that hires accountants can as well. At the moment AI is helpful enough that the Fortune 500 companies don't need to hire college graduates. But a year from now it will be able to replace 20-50% of your workforce depending on the industry. Four years ago AI was operating as a smart sixth grader, a year later it was a smart 12th grader, a year later it was a smart college graduate and now it is a smart graduate student. It is certainly capable of doing 20-50% of jobs right now but it has to be trained. That is why it will take another six months before you see a flood of pink slips. What we are seeing in the Federal government is the tip of the iceberg. If you think about it, most government work is ideal work for AI to do. It is repetitive, non creative, and follows well defined rules. About a third of the US work force is working for the government in one way or another.

I bring this up because the Bible says they will say "Peace and Security" and then "sudden destruction". There are a lot of things to be said for how AI and robots will be more economic, more efficient, more productive, and will give a better return on investment. But once that is the case then you will see a flood of pink slips and for millions that will be "sudden destruction". I mentioned silver because estimates are that for every ounce of silver there are 250 ounces that are on paper, banks holding short positions. If you look at how much silver has gone up in one year the banks holding these contracts have lost several trillion dollars. If you go back two years you can double that. We are witnessing one of the biggest short squeezes in US history and there are several major banks that stand to lose an incredible amount of money. It could certainly result in the collapse of the US dollar. One day everything is fine, the next day the bank is closed and all your money is gone.

It is the same with this war in Ukraine. Gradually we have moved step by step towards a war with Russia, Iran, Venezuela, China, and N. Korea. But then it will accelerate and suddenly bombs will be bursting in the US.

You are what you eat

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

This is the point of the church age, to bring many sons into glory. Think how awesome this is. The world is completely blind to this. How stupid to be hung up on offenses from slavery or Jim Crow. Maybe today I am treated poorly by the world, that is because they don't know that I am a son of God and they don't know God. This is like those movies where the owner of the company is the janitor and because no one knows who he is he can determine who the good people are in the company and who the real problems are.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We know that all things work together for good to those that love God. Our destiny is to rule and reign with Christ, we are coheirs with Him, and the things of this life are simply a temporary trial prior to an eternal weight of glory. You are the eyes and the ears of the Lord. He is going throughout the earth, discerning the hearts. Even if you are homeless, or in a war zone, or being persecuted, you will see those who love the Lord and are like Him. In every single situation on this earth, no matter how dire it is, we can see Jesus as He is and we can even be like Him.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

If our eyes are on Jesus we will purify ourselves. In my experience every time I moved and I have moved many times, it is a purifying experience because you must discard many things. If you live the life of the altar and the tent like Abraham you cannot carry anything that is not truly essential. When I moved to Taiwan you have to fly, and when I moved back you have to fly again and each time I could not afford to bring my books. Ultimately I was left with one book, the Bible. That was a purifying experience, stripping away all the commentaries so in the end all I have is the word of God. Doing a rough calculation I have moved about 25 times in my life. Often reducing everything I have to what I can put into a suitcase. This is only an analogy but it is a good one. We need to strip away everything that is not of the Lord. This is what pruning is. I used to love to prune fruit trees and others don't understand, they think you are cutting down the tree. Instead the tree has a certain amount of sap, what you want to do is concentrate all that sap into the branches that are bringing forth fruit and get rid of every branch that isn't. We call those branches "sappers".

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

The most obvious things to prune are the diseased branches. I once thought my fig tree was dead, pruned it way back. I was going to remove it but figured I'd wait until I was ready to put another tree in its place. A year later it sprouted, and shortly thereafter it was producing more fruit than ever. So let's say you have a sin, what is the root? It could be friends that are not saved, you need to cut that relationship off. You think you have a burden for them to get saved but in reality as long as they are pulling you down into sin you will never have a testimony with them. Maybe you spend hours every day watching TV, afterwards you regret all the time you wasted, but it is like you are addicted. As soon as you come home the TV is turned on. The solution is simple, throw out the TV. Think of that TV as a portal by which Satan can come into your home, and bring you down into sin. Throw out the TV and cut off the portal. Maybe your pride and joy is your record collection. Well know this, every one of those record albums is involved in witchcraft, every record company performs witchcraft ceremonies over those albums. I wouldn't even throw them away, the best thing to do is to burn them.

5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

This is a crucial concept, you don't give up a winter coat until the summer sun is shining. You need to be doubling and tripling the time you spend with the Lord for Him to be manifested to you. For example, I burned all my record albums but then got some song tapes where they were singing the Psalms and various books of the Bible. My two favorite were where they sang the books of Ephesians and Colossians. I wore those tapes out. Yes, I gave up lots and lots of books, but then I put the Bible on tape in my car and listened to that. I would listen as I commuted to work. Often I'd get to work and couldn't remember what I had listened to. But I also realized my attitude was right, I was at peace, full of joy and centered. If I had been listening to the radio I would not have been in the same mind. I probably listened to the Bible from beginning to end over five times while commuting to work.

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

That is the key, when you are listening to the word of God as you drive to work you are "abiding in Him". When you listen to someone sing the book of Ephesians you are "abiding in Him". When you fellowship with brothers and sisters about the Lord you are abiding in Him. Someone described it as if you were coloring your spirit and soul green. The more you do this the more you are fully green. Likewise if you are going to bars, listening to your albums, watching the TV, you are being colored by the enemy. In the end you are what you eat, you can't hide that. Fill yourself up with evil food and your body will suffer, fill yourself up with Daniel's diet and you will shine.
