Divorce and the Sabbath day

Mark 10:1 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again. 2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. 3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? 4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. 5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. 11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

There is so much here, but I think it should be covered as several points. Obviously divorce is a really big point, we have to cover. But also the commandments of Moses are another.

So let's start with Divorce since many people in the US are divorced, this must impact many believers. If you are divorced does that mean you are guilty of making your former spouse commit adultery? That is not what Jesus said. He said "if you put away your spouse". It is the person who initiates and forces the divorce. No verse is of its own interpretation. In another place Paul said that if your spouse demands a divorce you are free, we are not in bondage in such a situation.

Now even if you still feel guilty of adultery in how your divorce went down, the Lord's blood will wash away all sin. You must confess and repent. So then repent of that old lifestyle that led you to divorce your first spouse.

This point is also in Genesis. If you marry someone and you become one flesh and they then go and commit adultery, what does that mean? That is clearly a corruption to the one body. Are they one with you or are they one with their adulterous partner? In other places Jesus places this word on divorce with cutting off a body part that "offends you". If your eye, or hand or foot offends you, cut it off. This compares divorce to amputating a part of your body. Why would you do that? Because it has gangrene and if you don't the entire body will die.

My understanding is this, if your spouse sins, you are not to ignore that. You have to deal with it and you must deal with it according to Matthew 18. First you go to the spouse and tell them privately what the issue is. If they won't listen to you then you take two or three brothers or sisters. This is a great safety precaution because maybe you are making a mountain out of nothing. These two or three brothers or sisters would have to agree with you that this is truly a big deal because if your spouse continues to ignore you then it could lead to divorce. If the spouse refuses to listen to them you go to the elders. Now at this point the elders should be able to discuss what must be done to reconcile the situation. This puts the sinful spouse into a situation where they cannot continue as is, the only way to continue in the marriage is to follow the prescribed reconciliation. This would include confession of sins, but also a repentance which might mean changing your job, moving to another town, etc. Jesus said you can't serve two masters, you will love the one and hate the other. This is where the spouse must decide which of the two masters they love. At this point they may ask for a divorce and if they do then you should give it to them, you are not in bondage and neither are they.

However, in another place Jesus made it clear the only offense that should potentially result in divorce is adultery.

The second point are the commandments of God. I realize that the commandments about what is clean to eat and what isn't were dealt with by Peter's vision. It would be impossible to bring the gospel to Africa, India, and China if the evangelists could not eat or even enter into the house of unbelievers to have fellowship. Even if they did not serve you something unclean the fact that they prepare those items in their kitchen would make everything unclean. So the Lord explains He made those things clean by the cross of Christ.

However, what about keeping the Sabbath, that is one of the ten commandments. It is one thing to say that the ordinances about food were done away with by the cross, but surely the ten commandments were not.

I heard one teaching that the five commandments on one tablet corresponded to the five commandments on the other. It is as though if you look at each commandment in the mirror it gives you the other one. For example "keeping the sabbath. holy" is opposite to "thou shalt not be a false witness". You proclaim that you are a Jew by keeping the sabbath. So if you claim to be a Jew when you go to the synagogue, but then at work you are willing to do various things on the sabbath that would not be keeping it holy, then you are a false witness to your coworkers.

But as a Christian I celebrate the Lord's day, the 8th day, the day of resurrection. My understanding is that the fulfillment of the sabbath rest was when Jesus was in the grave. He was dead for the entire sabbath day. As Christians we must be crucified with Jesus. This is not simply one day a week, but all seven days. The reality of keeping the sabbath day holy is if your testimony is that "I have died with Christ and it is no longer I that live".

But then what is the issue with keeping the sabbath as the seventh day adventists do? I have no problem, if they claim that celebrating the Lord's day is a violation of God's word and they want to be faithful to God's word, fine. The sabbath day is marked by the moon. The word moon means month. In the Bible you had a "new moon sabbath" which was 2-3 days, and then the 7th day was when you had a quarter moon, the 14th day was the full moon, the 21st day was the other quarter moon. That was the initial calendar.

During Jesus day they had both the Julian calendar and the Hebrew calendar and the days were off. Jesus ate the passover with his disciples one day, and then was crucified as the Passover lamb the next day. Two different calendars, two different days. Today we are in the Gregorian calendar which is off from the Julian calendar by a few weeks. As a result there is no set day to celebrate the Lord's table, Paul says "whatever day". Some people today still use the Julian calendar, others the Gregorian calendar and still others the Hebrew calendar. I consider it hypocritical that someone tells me I am celebrating the Lord's death and resurrection on the wrong day and that it should be on the sabbath day when they also are not celebrating on the sabbath day but on a day named after Saturn, signifying Satan.

This brings us to the spiritual significance. Marriage is a covenant. The Ten commandments were part of the Old Covenant. If you die you are free from all covenants you made in your life. If we die with Christ we are free from all covenants that we or our ancestors might have made with Satan.
 
Selling all to follow the Lord

Mark 10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

This morning a brother shared with me how he and his three year old preached the gospel. They have these two cards, one looks bigger than the other but it is an optical illusion. They ask you which one is bigger but then you see that your answer is wrong and they then share that we can be wrong about a lot of things, but the one question we can't afford to be wrong about is where we will spend eternity. So his three year old was demonstrating the optical illusion to the young man they were preaching to. We were at the fair this summer and you are not allowed to leave your little booth to preach the gospel, so we sat in our booth and talked to people who came up to us. But this brother took his children around the fair and the little kids would ask people if they knew Jesus and wanted a Bible and he had a backpack filled with bibles and handed out 100 of them. No one is going to tell a five year old they can't do this. There is no need to wait until your children are "old enough" to be involved in the ministry.

17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

This man called Jesus good master, but when Jesus pointed out that only one is good, that is God, the man did not correct himself. So this means he was speaking in code, and was calling Jesus God.

19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

This man calls Jesus God and he has kept the commandments from his youth. In Luke he is called the rich young ruler. But here he is not a ruler but he does have great possessions.

21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Then Jesus tells him to sell whatever he has, give to the poor and come follow Him. My theory is that this is a pastor. Prior to the rapture (the account in Luke) he is both rich and a ruler of the congregation he is over. However, in the US the churches are 501c3 charitable organizations. This means that they have a board of directors who hire the pastor, so he is a manager, they are the "owners". They will give instructions to the pastor what they want, many want increase, they don't want the pastor to talk about prophecy, they don't want them to talk about the Antichrist, or current events or the mark of the beast, etc. These instructions come from wealthy FreeMasons who are on the board of directors and they give a lot of money to build a big meeting hall with expensive audio visual technology, etc. At first this seems like a reasonable compromise, you get this big impactful ministry and you simply can focus on things you might want to focus on anyway. Think about Jude, he wanted to share about the common salvation but then when he saw all the false teachers he had to change the message. Now once you are pastor for a period of time there will be people you have a burden for. You don't want to simply walk away, nor do you want to bad mouth the board of directors as that would only cause division and harm. But at the same time you are forced to speak in code like when he said "good master" rather than Jesus the Christ. Now if you sell everything that belongs to a 501c3 the proceeds must go to another 501c3. So giving the money to the poor could refer to a soup kitchen or other ministry serving the poor. For the pastor to give up that prestigious job, sell all, and follow Jesus Christ would be what it means to take up the cross and go outside the camp to the Lord.

22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. 23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Every single one of us has "riches". It is our ego, our identity. Whatever it is that we hold near and dear. It could be money, it could be a prestigious job, it could be anything. But we all must count all that as dung. Paul gives a list of the things he treasured in Philippians and then said he counted them all as dung in order to gain Christ.

24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

This whole thing with Charlie Kirk is a great example of this. Charlie Kirks podcast has over 5 million subscribers and yet after two days the latest podcast had only 30 thousand views. Ever since his death the money has poured in and they got tremendous exposure (advertising) as a result of that death. And yet the ministry is drying up faster than a fig tree cursed by the Lord. Meanwhile Candace Owens is talking about his assassination and investigating that and her podcast is becoming the most popular podcast in the world.

25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? 27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Hudson Taylor shared that prior to getting this revelation he was completely stressed out. He realized he was being asked to do things that were impossible for him. But once he realized he simply needed to have faith that whatever God asks He will also do.

28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

You don't simply leave houses and land. It isn't simply a matter of giving up possessions, you also give up brethren, and family members. To be 100% for the Lord is a very big sacrifice all around. However, there is this promise that we will receive a hundredfold both today as we care for the saints and in the world to come.

31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

Do you want to be number 1?

Mark 10:32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, 33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: 34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.

The Lord keeps repeating what is about to happen so that they can brace themselves and be prepared for it. We see the same thing today with the prophecies about the three days of darkness, the coming famine, the chaos that will result after the rapture, etc. For anyone left behind the rapture will be a crucifixion event.

35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire. 36 And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? 37 They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory. 38 But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? 39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: 40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

In the world we have the "Peter principle" which means employees rise to their level of incompetence. So if you are successful you keep getting promoted until you are a failure. Each one of us is going to be fit into the temple, Jesus said He was going to "prepare a place for us". We will be built into the temple in exactly the place where we fit. This is like Paul's word "is the hand a foot?" Is the eye an ear?

41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John. 42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. 43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: 44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

How good are you at "serving all"? I know that there are things I am good at and things I am most assuredly not good at. If I had to do a job I was not good at it would be torture to me, but give me a job I am good at and that will get me up each morning.

45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

This includes Jesus!

46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

This chapter begins with a discussion of divorce. According to the Bible there is only one valid reason for divorce and that is adultery. This doesn't mean you can't be reconciled, only that a Christian is not in bondage once they are married to remain chained to an adulterous spouse. But what is the main reason that people get divorced that is not valid according to the Bible? It is because most are not fully sold out for the marriage and it is because of this battle over who will be number one. If Christians are honest then marriage is a trial to every one who is married. Obviously those who are divorced have had failure in this area. But even those who aren't have surely gone through trials and tribulations. Are you sold out, are you willing to not be number 1?

49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. 50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. 52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

I am reminded again of Tom Brady. In college he was the backup quarterback and was getting five minutes of reps every day in practice. He thought he could not do anything with that but he was counseled that he should focus on making those five minutes the best five minutes of the day. Treat them like he is going in for the last five minutes of the big bowl game. This is how he got his sight. He was not number 1, he was number last. But then he also saw that his job was to get the ball out of his hands as quickly as possible and get it to someone who could do something with it. In other words, his job was to be a servant to all. When he understood that this was his job then a place was made for him and he ultimately became the starting quarterback in the NFL.
 
Does everything fit?

Mark 11:1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, 2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

This is what I was looking for when Joshua came out and proclaimed that the Lord would return 9/23. He was like a colt on which never man sat. I have been involved in this blog for years, basically from March of 2020, though it was on another forum. I had been linking videos from many other watchmen and watchwomen. These people in turn reference others. I had never heard of Joshua prior to this year. It wasn't clear if he understood that 9/23 was the feast of trumpets. This holy day is supposed to be when the trumpet is sounded announcing the coming of the king. I felt that all of the watchmen sounding the various alarms were "blowing the trumpet" announcing the coming king. However, there are supposed to be 100 trumpet blasts with the last one being the longest, the last trumpet blast. So that is also what I was looking for and that is how I understood his prophetic speaking. This was the last trumpet blast announcing the coming of the king. 9/23 came and went and so many accused him of being a false prophet. But then people realized, hey which calendar? Some people in the world use the Julian calendar and that was the calendar used at the time of Jesus. There is no valid reason to assume the 9/23 referred to the Gregorian calendar. The Julian calendar had 9/23 at the time of the feast of tabernacles which is a shadow of the wedding feast. That also came and went. But then it was obvious that this could also refer to the Hebrew calendar. After all, we were equating 9/23 to days on the Hebrew calendar (Feast of Trumpets and Feast of Tabernacles). 9/23 on the Hebrew calendar is the day before Hanukah starts. Hanukah refers to the rededication of the temple. In the gospel of John Jesus heals a paralyzed man waiting for the water to be stirred and tells him to rise and walk. Many of those who are left behind are like this paralyzed man, they should be up and walking in faith, but instead they are paralyzed, lying in a bed and doing nothing but being a spectator in the pews. The rapture will be that final call to "rise and walk". The rededication of the temple begins immediately after the rapture for those who are left behind. Hanukah is named after Enoch, whose name meant dedicated. Every Christian should be fully consecrated or dedicated to the Lord. There are many who aren't fully dedicated and the rapture will be a big rebuke to them and it will be the Lord telling them plainly "rise, take up your bed, and walk"!

3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

Can you imagine how incredible it is that Joshua would come out of nowhere and go viral worldwide? How does something like that happen?

4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

This is what I have been looking for and without a doubt I felt that the entire Joshua event was a key event in all of the things that have led up to now for this blog. The pandemic, the stolen election, January 6, the vaccine mandate, Russia invading Ukraine, silver and gold skyrocketing, Hamas invading Israel, the US bombing Iran, the red heifer ceremony, and then Joshua. These were all major events for me. This is what I was looking for with this blog.

5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

Let's be real many, many people accuse him of being a false prophet. Why? Because 9/23 came and went. But to me that is judging before the time. Why would you think it has to be the Gregorian calendar? Don't you think it is weird that 9/23 is a crucial date for the end times on all three calendars? That alone sounds like something the Lord would do. Then add to the other events the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a peace plan for Israel that includes dividing the land, the release of the Epstein files revealing that the CIA is this whore of Babylon described in Revelation 17:1-2, and 3i/Atlas that now appears like a giant glittering sword that will be closest to the Earth during Hanukah. This is also what I was looking for, signs that are so clear anyone who studies the Bible would see them while most people are blind and spouting foolishness to their shame. Exposing their lack of understanding.

6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go. 7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

Your garments represent your righteous acts. Imagine casting all the stuff you did in your ministry onto this guy named Joshua who you had never known previously?

8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: 10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

So when you examine a prophecy you have to examine everything. Does everything fit?
 
The chief priests and scribes sought how they might destroy Him

Mark 11:11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve. 12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

A fig tree is not the national tree of Israel and it is not the national tree of the US. The national tree of Israel is the olive tree, which gives us olive oil, representing the Holy Spirit. The national tree of the US is the oak tree. When the US was first founded they discovered huge virgin forests with oak trees that made great building material for Britain's navy. The oak tree played a very significant role in the early development of the US. The fig tree reminds us of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, it is a tree that makes men wise and like God. This is a picture of an empire. It is a picture of human government apart from Jesus. It can refer to the US, it can refer to Israel, and it can refer to the UN. The extent of evil being revealed in Epstein island, how the US has caused the kings of the earth to commit fornication and to be drunk on this befuddling wine, this aligns with the Lord coming to find fruit of righteousness and finding none. Compare this with what Jude said "trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots", this is the significance of this event and nothing illustrates it better than a bogus investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk and a release of the Epstein files.

15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; 16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

Overthrowing the table of the money changers would refer to the collapse of the US dollar as the reserve currency. The reference to doves could be a reference to a phony peace deal. A vessel would be like a box or some container. Anyone who is going up to the temple mount to sell stuff would likely be carrying a vessel. The worship of the Lord is being contaminated by those who are making this a profitable business. People who have sponsors, they are selling books, Tshirts, coffee mugs, etc.

17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Think about it. The minute we combine our worship with the sale of merchandise you open the door for this to become a den of thieves. This is what the assassination of Charlie Kirk is uncovering, TPUSA is now alleged to be a den of thieves. This is what the release of the Epstein files is revealing, a den of thieves. This is what DOGE revealed, a den of thieves and not so much in government jobs but in NGOs (non government organizations which portray themselves as charitable institutions but are thieves).

18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

Take a look at Candace Owens. She drops a video and in one day she has 2 million views. The Charlie Kirk podcast with 5 million subscribers has 30,000 views for a video that had been up for days. That ministry is withering away in front of our eyes, just like the fig tree, while the people are astonished at other ministries like Candace Owens, and the scribes and chief priests are seeking how they might destroy these ones.
 
Let's ask the elites a question they dare not answer

Mark 11:19 And when even was come, he went out of the city. 20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

The reserve currency is the root of this evil tree. This process has already begun. The FBI and military have seized and or destroyed over a billion dollars worth of cash and drugs belonging to the cartels. They have blown up 16 boats smuggling drugs including a submarine. A lot of this money from the sale of drugs would be given to politicians, judges and police to buy influence. Cut off the money and you cut off the root of this tree. DOGE also uncovered a lot of waste and fraud. Not only so but now they are uncovering this network of NGOs as a evil root system for skimming money from the government. Not only so but the government shut down revealed waste and fraud in the EBT, SNAP and other welfare systems. Lord Jesus, we pray that all the money supplying this sinful tree be cut off and the tree dried up. Amen.

Lord Jesus we are speaking everyday to this evil mountain of sin that is abusing children, this evil Babylon the Great, that it would be cast into the sea like a great millstone. Amen.

Didn't graduate from a seminary, who are You to be speaking contrary to the experts?

29 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. 30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.

What do you think about the Charlie Kirk ministry? Was he calling people to repentance according to God? Or was the success of that ministry due to the millions of dollars given to it by men? The assassins thought they could simply kill Charlie and take over that ministry and make it bigger and better than ever.

31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?

Their were a lot of controversial things said by Charlie that they cannot accept. So if they say his ministry was from God then it will convict them.

32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

On the other hand they cannot say that his success was due to the support man gave him because everyone sees Charlie as a Christian martyr.

33 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

A portrait of Christianity at the end of the Age

Mark 12:1 And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

I would think that planting a vineyard would be a reference to God planting the children of Israel in the good land. Setting a hedge about it reminds me of Job where Satan says he can't touch them because God has put a hedge about him. Some expositors see this "hedge" as the law of Moses. A place for the winefat refers to where they tread out the grapes into wine. It would be analogous to the altar where the sacrifices are made and the blood is poured out. Therefore the workmen who are over the vine remind us of the priests. But it also reminds us of God placing Adam in the garden to tend and keep it. For us in the New Testament we are told that we are all priests and kings to God, so for the church this refers to every Christian.

2 And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

These servants would refer to the prophets.

3 And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.

But the beating would refer to those who were put in charge of this vineyard, the priests or in our more modern use it would refer to the Christians. It is not unbelievers who are beating the Christians prophets, it is the "Christians". This is what people don't get, they think that Satanists are distinct from "Christians" but that is foolish. Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. Paul talked about spies in our midst. Jude talks about these spots in our love feasts. Peter talks about the false teachers making merchandise of the saints. James talks about what true religion is. John talks about those who love the preeminence. Clearly the church is infiltrated with FreeMasons. These are Satanists disguised as "Christians", they love the "preeminence", and they beat the servants of God. They are waterless clouds, they are dead trees that have no fruit and are withered up.

4 And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.

This is the way you can identify them, they behave shamefully. This is why they push Calvinists teachings. They have people living in sin in their congregation and even worse, in the ministry. This is where the scandals come from continuously, but instead of people realizing those were FreeMasons, Satanists disguised as Christians, they see them as hypocritical Christians. A hypocrite wears a mask. Any Satanist disguised as a Christian is a hypocrite by definition. But then Ananias and Saphira were also hypocrites. Some genuine Christians put on an act that they are sold out for Jesus Christ, when in reality they are more like Humpty Dumpty.

5 And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.

Charlie Kirk is an example of them killing some Christians. The Roman Catholic church has a long list of Christians they have killed.

6 Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

So think about this, Jesus Christ was sent to the Jewish leaders at the fullness of time, and yet instead of confessing that Jesus Christ was the Messiah they made up some bogus story about casting out demons by demons. So now those who heal are the bad guys? Demons they cause you to get sick, and demons are the ones with the power to heal? This means you cannot identify the Messiah by the signs and wonders He does? Then how would you identify Him? Jesus told us, they rejected Him not because of the signs and wonders but because He came in the name of the Father. If someone comes in their own name, him they will receive. Jesus speaking convicted all those religious leaders of sins, but if you have someone coming preaching a gnostic religion or Calvinism, him they will receive. Why? Because they can continue selling indulgences and they can continue making merchandise of the saints, and they can easily adopt his counterfeit religion. What happens is they have been deceiving others for so long that they wind up getting deceived by their own deception. With what measure you measure it will be measured to you. If they deceive others then they will be taken in by the great deception.

7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.'

Is this what happened with Charlie Kirk? Were the ones who took over TPUSA the ones who assassinated him? I find it interesting how the ministry has imploded completely. The podcast that Charlie Kirk built up has 5 million subscribers but now they are getting 30k views! What? After his assassination the number of people who became aware of TPUSA doubled, maybe even increased 10x and yet the views are less than 1% of what they were just two months ago?! This is the great deception, they don't realize that killing the heir, killing Jesus killed themselves. Killing Jesus resulted in the temple being destroyed without one stone left upon another and the priesthood wiped out.

8 And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

They killed Jesus as a criminal, "outside the camp". They tried to heap shame onto Him. I wonder if it is the same with what happened to Charlie Kirk? They made TPUSA into four different organizations and made it look like Charlie was getting a salary from each, hiding 75% of his income. Why were they doing that? Was it an attempt to control him by saying if he says anything he'll look just as guilty as all those who were skimming off of the organization?

9 What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

This is what happened to the Jews, their nation, their temple were both destroyed and God gave the vineyard to the Christians. Today Christians outnumber Jews 100:1.

10 And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: 11 This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

This is marvelous. Jesus Christ is similar to Tom Brady in this respect. He was the player that every team rejected and yet he became the standard by which every player in the NFL is measured. Think of the religious leaders as being those who "draft" or select the men of God. They can't deny this because they made an official proclamation that Jesus was not the Christ and that he was casting out demons by demons. This proclamation was designed to turn the Jewish people away from Jesus.

12 And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

They said that there was a civil war among the demons, that is what was going on with Jesus. But in reality the civil war was with the religious leaders as some of them, like Nicodemus, were not buying the official narrative. Jesus said that if there was a civil war with the demons then their kingdom could not stand and sure enough the kingdom of the Jewish religionists did not stand, whereas despite heavy persecution against the Christians the church grew and multiplied.

So then, be warned. The situation is the same today. The church is full of Satanists who love the preeminence, beat and kill the prophets of God and their M.O. is that they deceive and are being deceived. That which has been is that which shall be.
 
Go ahead, give Satan credit for the holocaust

Mark 12:13 And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. 14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

What does this mean, "give tribute to Caesar"? The word refers to a tax that is paid or to the coin that is paid as the tax. But this concept of paying tax or tribute to Caesar is exactly like the parable of the vineyard where the owner of the vineyard comes to collect rent. They are asking is it lawful to put Caesar on the same level as God? This is their attempt at a parable, they are likening the ruler of this age, the prince of darkness, to God. This is like the debate over who was responsible for the holocaust. Should we give Satan the credit for that or should we not give credit to Satan for anything?

15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.

Remember, all Satanists pretending to be angels of light are hypocrites. Jesus knowing their hypocrisy is equivalent to Jesus discerning these are Satanists disguised as religious leaders. So then in this case let's take a look at the Holocaust, treat it like a penny that we are to examine.

16 And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.

Whose image and superscription do you see on the Holocaust? Satan's, obviously. He is a liar, a thief and a murderer. We see all of that inscribed on the Holocaust. Hitler is clearly a Antichrist figure, he ordered it, the holocaust has his superscription on it.

17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

So go ahead, give credit to Satan. The Jews rejected the Messiah, that is the same thing as embracing Satan. You can take the narrow way that leads to life, if you reject that way then the only other way is the broad way that leads to destruction. If you embrace Satan and reject Jesus you will end up in hell and guess what, hell looks exactly like the holocaust. Jesus told them when they rejected Him that they should be weeping for themselves. His death was a substitutionary death. He was offering to die in their place and they rejected Him, hence the road they took led to 70 AD, it led to pogroms, the Spanish inquisition, and the Holocaust.

You will greatly err if you do not know the scriptures or the power of God

Mark 12:18 Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying, 19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed. 21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise. 22 And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also. 23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.

This chapter opens with Jesus giving us a parable about a vineyard and corrupt renters who refuse to pay rent and kill the landlord's son. It completely destroys them, exposes their motive in rejecting Jesus Christ as the Messiah and so they try and throw a few parables at the Lord. The Pharisees and Herodians, two factions that were at complete odds with one another team up to ask a yes or no question that regardless of the answer half of them will hate. This exposes their hypocrisy. But now we have this logical puzzle that the Sadducees have come up with to disprove the resurrection. We have one man and one wife, so what happens in the resurrection when a woman has more than one husband? This is the kind of question that they think disproves the resurrection. If there is no resurrection then there is no consequences for our actions in this life. After we die then we have the judgement, but if there is no resurrection then there will be no judgment after we die. This is a logical approach to proving you can live in sin without consequences, it is what the FreeMasons do, it is what the Calvinists do. All these doctrines are designed to get around sin, guilt, shame, and being accountable.

24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

They err because instead of reading the Bible they read these philosophers who come up with this garbage. This is what seminary has become for many. They also err because they don't know the power of God, they don't have a personal experience of salvation.

25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

I do not think there is enough in the Bible to tell us about the lives of angels. We know a little, they are servants of God, just as we are. Each of us has an angel assigned to us for protection I suppose. They are messengers and we see them interact with man a number of times. They helped Lot, they also helped Samson's parents, etc. We also know that some angels fell including Lucifer and there is no salvation offered to them. That to me is a more interesting question. Why is salvation offered to man, but not to fallen angels? We also know that man is made a little lower than the angels. A gorilla is not a little lower than man, he is a lot lower than man even though strength wise he is stronger than any man. So the analogy is not gorillas to humans for humans to angels. No, a person with an IQ of 100 is a little lower than AI on various aptitude tests. In fact if you have a well defined job with defined rules, then even our best and brightest is a little lower than AI. For example the Go champion lost to an AI that trained itself. It took six months but today that training could be done in one month. AI has solved a major biology problem that no human could solve. So we can play the same game, and we can be competitive, but we will lose. This is true in Chess, Go, Jeopardy, and even biology. But that is about all that the Bible says about them except here Jesus tells us they don't marry. Perhaps that was inferred when the Angels came down to earth and mated with the women. Based on that we might have surmised there are no female angels.

26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

So this is a great example on how to interpret the Bible. God is the God of the living, now combine that with another verse where God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and that means that those three are not dead but alive.

The first commandment

Mark 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

The ten commandments are like a portrait of God. Jesus demonstrated His great love for us by dying on the cross. Therefore when you understand that the first great commandment is to love God with all your heart, are you willing to die for your faith? This has got to be the mindset. Abraham, the father of faith, did not hesitate to offer up His son when God asked. Daniel's friends did not hesitate to take a stand for God even though they got tossed into the furnace. All of the apostles were willing to be martyred for their testimony. Jesus set the example for us and He also said "you go and do likewise".

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

This requires empathy. If you were in the same situation as your neighbor what would you want them to do for you? James described this and said we would want mercy. The one thing we would want more than anything else is mercy if we messed up and it was in your power to fire me or cause me harm.

32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: 33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

These laws require sacrifice. Jesus' death on the cross was sacrificial. To give someone mercy is a sacrifice. But tithing is also a sacrifice. These things, to love God with all your heart or to give mercy to your neighbor, these are far greater than giving a tithe each week at church.

34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
 
Conclusion

Mark 12:35 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?

Jesus answered, what is the question? The question is "how say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?" This is what all these questions are about, is Jesus the Christ?

36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 37 David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

This reminds me of the saying "the first shall be last and the last shall be first". Think how encouraging this word would be to you if you were left behind after the rapture.

38 And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, 39 And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: 40 Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

This is the point, they love the preeminence and the Lord is pointing out none of that matters. The only thing that matters to us in the end is our relationship with the Lord Jesus. Those tenants in the vineyard beat and insulted the Lord's servants. In the end they are the ones who are destroyed while the Lord's servants will receive a reward.

41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

This ties in the whole chapter. If you are left behind it will be a terrible tribulation. The armies will come, the vineyard will be destroyed. All those who were preeminent will be cast down. But there is a way through this and it is sacrificial love. Even if all you have is two mites, that can turn out to be more than all that the rich people cast in. For a rich person this is nothing, but for a poor person this may be loving your neighbor as yourself and it may be loving God with all your heart.

In the gospel of Mark this account is the conclusion for those who are left behind, but in the gospel of Luke it identifies those who will be raptured before the tribulation.
 
Take heed lest any man deceive you

Mark 13:1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

In Matthew they marvel at the buildings, but in Mark they also marvel at what manner of stones. In Luke they say it was adorned with goodly stones.

2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

But in every case Jesus says "there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down". The believers are living stones, 1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

There are many believers whose faith is not sitting directly on the rock, but on another stone, another believer. When Jesus says "there shall not be left one stone upon another" if your faith is resting on anything other than Jesus Christ, the rock, you will be thrown down. This is why the title of this blog refers to Bible references. I am not interested in the Bible doctrines of this great teacher or that great teacher. If you tell me that Watchman Nee taught this, or Chuck Missler taught this, or J.N. Darby taught this, don't care. But if you say this is what 1 Thessalonians says, or this is what the Gospel of Matthew says or this is what the book of Revelation says, that is different. I want my faith solidly built on the word of God.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

There are 12 disciples, and yet the account is very specific that four asked. In Matthew it says the disciples asked. In Luke it is even more vague, "they asked Him". So why is Mark so specific that it is a third of the disciples? This could be a reference to the left behind saints. Luke refers to those who are raptured prior to the tribulation, and they don't even have to be the twelve, there are many believers who are interested. In Matthew it is referring to the Jews as a nation getting saved and the term disciples would distinguish them from Jews who were not disciples of the Lord. But Mark lists four, meaning there are 8 others. Seven of them could refer to the church that was raptured, and the 8th of course refers to Judas, the son of perdition who is no longer alive.

5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

Unbelievers do not deceive you about the second coming. It is only the religious ones.

6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

They don't say they are Jesus, they say they are Christ. The word means "anointed". John said we all have an anointing, so that is not what they are saying, what they are saying is they have "the anointing" or that they have a "special anointing". Every day I have searched the internet to see what others have said. I do that because I know that we all have an anointing. In this search I find those who present themselves as having a special anointing, those I avoid. I am not interested in anyone claiming to have a special anointing, but I am interested in anyone having the same anointing that I have.

7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

Wars is plural. I used to think that we have had wars throughout human history. That is true, but people did not hear about wars in China or Japan prior to the printing press and prior to the British Empire. But even then, they didn't hear about them, they read about them. It wasn't until the invention of the radio that you could truly say we were hearing about wars. But initially people just read the news, the use of rumors to manipulate the population was not developed. During WW1 and WW2 the military intelligence used their radio messages to manipulate the enemy and they used their ability to intercept them to spy on the enemy. The intelligence agencies were thus born and they have continued until now developing better and better techniques at brain washing, manipulation, propaganda, and all of that can be summed up as "rumors". Today the main stream media is virtually all rumors. They use false flags and many other things to manipulate the populace. Click bait and gaslighting are the modus operandi of the media. The goal is that you would be troubled. Remember when we had "terrorist threat level orange" on the news everyday? Remember what they did during the pandemic, when you would see people driving alone in their car with a mask on? Do you remember "Duck and cover" drills in school because of the threat of a nuclear bomb? Do you remember "War of the World's" on the radio? They were clearly experimenting with these methods as early as the 1950s but the panic that was created during the pandemic was proof that they had perfected their ability to trouble the entire world.

It used to be we treated these news casters as having a special anointing, like Walter Cronkite. Hopefully the shine on these news anchors has tarnished and people are being educated not to be deceived by them.
 
It is coming

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

This word sorrows is a reference to birth pains. It is used in Matthew and it is used in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail G5604 upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

But it isn't in Luke. According to the prophecies the first rapture takes place prior to the birth pains. Everything we experience before the rapture is "Braxton Hicks" contractions, practice contractions to get the muscles toned for the real thing. WW1 and WW2 were simply Braxton Hicks contractions compared to what is coming. That is also true of the earthquakes we have had. Those are simply getting in shape for the great earthquakes of Biblical proportion we are about to have. The rapture coincides with a great global earthquake. We have had several big famines since, we had the Great depression, we had a famine in China after WW2, we had the famine in Bangladesh, and in Ethiopia. Those were getting the world in shape for the famine that is coming. The word "troubles" means disturbance or commotion. We have had rallies, and protests, riots and looting. But those are simply practice for what is coming.

9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

You don't have to seek them out. Simply preach the gospel, speak the word, and prepare knowing that the day will come when you are brought before them. Jesus is not advising us to run and hide, He is telling you that the day will come when you will be brought before them for a testimony and that you should prepare yourself, brace yourself for that day. Imagine you are studying for a Phd and you have to have an oral exam. Or imagine you are preparing for the championship game or the final exam.

Your mission -- Publish the gospel among all nations

10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

You have a mission. The mission in Mark is different from Matthew or Luke. Prior to the rapture we had to get a final draft on the gospel. Right now there is a lot of dispute, a lot of crazy theories. But after the rapture it will be clear who was right and who had the final approved draft of the gospel. Then for those left behind their job is to publish this among all nations. This is not a reference to the Bible. After the rapture people in every nation will want to know what happened. The antichrist will be pushing the great delusion, gaslighting people that aliens abducted all the bad Christians. But every nation will be affected and their little babies will have been taken as well so that story is not going to be believable. This gives Christians the chance to present the gospel concerning the redemption of our body and the rapture. You will be ridiculed, attacked, insulted, and dragged before the rulers and leaders. But this is a good thing, to suffer for the Lord in this way results in you getting a reward. 11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

The word but means that prior to you being delivered up you need to take thought. When you practice, the idea is to get this into your muscle memory. Read the word, study, pray over it, be intensive about this, so that when they do drag you away it is all in your muscle memory. I remember the first time I had to speak in front of a few thousand people, I felt like someone had put a vacuum cleaner to my mouth and it was sucking all the air out of me so that I could hardly speak.
