2 Corinthians 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? 2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Consider this, Bill Belichick has 8 super bowl rings as a coach, seven with New England and one with the NY Giants. Yet, when he was eligible to be voted into the Hall of fame he was not chosen. This created a firestorm as many people considered this so outrageous they called out the Hall of Fame voters. That illustrates what Paul is saying here. The church is a testimony of the ministry they are receiving. There are 29 coaches who are in the hall of fame and none of them has 8 Super bowl rings. If the goal of coaching is not to win the Super Bowl then what is the goal?

The issue many have is "spygate" and "deflategate". In one the Patriots had spies watching the practice of the other team and in the other they had not inflated the footballs to the proper psi. Personally I believe the referees should be the ones that inflate the footballs so there is no dispute and they should be the ones to take them to the field. Second, I highly doubt that Belichick told anyone what psi to inflate the footballs to. It would have been Brady and the quarterback coach who would have done that, if they did it. Also, Brady was suspended for this, so they paid a penalty that was severe and yet still went to ten super bowls winning seven. I would be more inclined to see this as a serious infraction if other teams had also been prosecuted or if hall of fame quarterbacks thought this was a big deal.

As for "spygate" I blame the other super bowl team 50% for that. It is well known that teams are "spying" on one another. This is why coaches put the clipboard in front of their mouth when they speak during a game.

However, it raises the issue of righteousness and character. I agree that cheating must be punished. The worst form is when they throw games, like the Chicago Whitesocks. So then, was Belichick snubbed because others were jealous or because they were trying to keep out cheating? In difficult calls like this I look to the Lord to judge. Following Brady's suspension for deflategate he went on his "revenge tour" where he came after four games out, led the team to the Super bowl and defeated the Atlanta Falcons in the greatest comeback of Super Bowl history. To me that was where we got to see what was "written in the hearts" of that team. If they had been cheaters we would not have seen that. As for spygate the team and Belichick were both fined and the team lost a first round draft pick. After that event they went to five super bowls and won three. Again, if Belichick's success was based on cheating we would not have seen that response. I am not making excuses, rather I am pointing out that many coaches looked at that and dismissed it as part of the game. I wanted to believe that the reason for their success was that they were cheaters, but that is simply not true. I believe that you can look at the team and their performance as "the letter of commendation" for Belichick.

I would also say that many people, myself included, questioned whether Brady's success was because of him, or because he was simply on a good team? In other words was he the factor in them winning, or was he simply good at not losing the game? That question was fully answered when he went to Tampa Bay, put that team on his back, and made them Super Bowl winners.

Now I want to turn this back to the apostle Paul. Look at the success of the church over 2,000 years. Can there be any doubt that Paul's ministry is one of the critical factors in the success of the church? In fact it is the New Testament, the incarnated word of God, that is the reason for the success of the church globally. It is truly astounding. Don't simply try to go back to Corinth and look at those saints, look at what has been built up over 2,000 years. We are all building on the foundation that Paul laid as a wise master builder. You have to be an idiot to try and ignore some of Paul's ministry. The apostasy refers to those who have departed from this ministry and their LGBTQ+ churches are an expression of these idiots.

2 Corinthians 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

This is what James said, if any of you lack wisdom ask of God who gives liberally. Ministry is to be a servant of the Lord and a coworker of the Lord. Pray for His help. Pray that He would make you an able minister of the Lord. There is no bigger testimony to me than a person who was clearly not sufficient in themselves to have a ministry and yet they have been transformed into able ministers of the Lord. We are not ministering the letter. That is the worst thing, when someone thinks they are an able minister because they are good at reading and studying and they wind up ministering the letter which kills. The goal is not to pass a test, the goal is to minister the spirit which gives life. Watchman Nee described the difference this way, in a stream dead things float down stream and get dumped in the ocean, living things like fish swim upstream.

2 Corinthians 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

This is how you know. Look at the story in Acts where Paul is going by boat to Rome. He winds up saving everyone on that boat and it was because of him that the community bought then a new boat. He starts out as a prisoner and by the end he is the one that everyone owes their life to. It is the same story as Joseph, being sold as a slave into Egypt and becoming the Prime Minister. It is the same story as in Esther where Mordecai is slated to be executed on the gallows as a criminal and he becomes prime minister. Think how much more glorious it is for Brady when everyone talked trash about him.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

7 DANGEROUS Signs of Demonic Influence in People Close to You (Biblical Warning)

Do not be deceived -- all of the sacrifices for sin offerings, trespass offerings, peace offerings, etc., they have all been replaced by Jesus Christ who offered Himself.

God did not intervene when Paul shaved his head. He intervened at the end of the vow when they were going to sacrifice a bull, paid for by Paul. Read Hebrews, it is absolutely crystal clear that sacrificing a bull after Jesus had been sacrificed for us was an insult to God and to the Lord. This is why I think that both Paul and James were involved in writing Hebrews, it was the revelation that the church did not have at the time but now has.

The idea that since James and Paul wrote books of the Bible that therefore their own actions in their life had to be infallible is not just completely absurd but debunked by Paul who said he was less than the least of the apostles because of his sins and failings. If we are to believe this ridiculous doctrine that the apostles could do no wrong, then that means Peter did no wrong when he denied the Lord. And in Galatians Paul calls this group of Judaizers the "concision" and says they apparently came from James. One way or another, the record is clear, James was commending all those who "were zealous for the law" and that alone gave the Judaizers cover.

Peter repented of his denial and that was the basis of his ministry, Paul repented of his sins and that was the basis of his ministry and the principle would be the same for James.

The New Testament tells us clearly that Jesus Christ is our Passover. If you want to commemorate the day of Passover, that is a minor issue. If you want to eat lamb that day, again, not an issue. But that is not how Passover is "celebrated". If you want to sacrifice a lamb according to the law as your Passover sacrifice, that is an insult to Jesus Christ who is your Passover sacrifice. Jesus established the New Covenant in His blood when He instituted the Lord's table. That is the one and only feast we are to keep as part of our worship of the Lord. That is the feast that says we have a covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord's table is our Passover feast. We keep the Lord's table. If you want to celebrate Passover as a yearly holiday that is of course your choice. But if you are sacrificing a lamb as a sin offering, or peace offering, well then, that is an insult to the Lord Jesus. The blood of lambs and bulls does not cleanse us from sin or bring peace with God. If you are putting the blood of a lamb on your door thinking that will cover your house with God's protection, that is an insult to the Lord Jesus. It is His blood and the covenant we have with Him that covers our house with His protection. The Old Testament feast of Passover was a yearly thing that they did until Jesus would come and the book of Hebrews makes that very clear.

Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

People who teach Matthew 24 prophecies are already fulfilled do not believe the words of Jesus.

Matthew 24:4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my
name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

If Matthew 24 was fulfilled after 70 AD and the Lord came in glory and judged all these deceivers and false prophets then why do we still have them? The book of Revelation let's us know that the tribulation is a time of judgment on the false prophets.

6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.
Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

If the Lord brought in His kingdom to earth after 70 AD why do we still hear of wars and rumors of war?

7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines
and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Jesus is telling us these things precede the birth. We don't see birth pains after the baby is born. So then, why do we have these events which are birth pains if the baby has already been born?

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be
hated by all nations because of me.

This certainly applies to all of the apostles except for one point. "All nations"? Were they persecuted by China? No. Other Christians during the church age were, but not the apostles. How about Japan, were they persecuted by Japan? No. Again, other Christians during the Church age were, but not the apostles. What about the nations in South America, did they persecute and kill the 12 apostles? No. They did however persecute and kill Christians during the church age. Those that hold to this doctrine that this was fulfilled try to have it both ways. On one hand "I believe the words of Jesus" and on the other you can't teach this doctrine without explaining away all the words in this chapter as not meaning what they say.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony
to all nations, and then the end will come.

Here is the big sign of the end of the age. In 70 AD when the temple was destroyed Christians and the gospel were scattered to the four corners of the earth. In the last 120 years Gideons have distributed 2.6 billion Bibles worldwide, we have missionaries going to all the continents with the gospel, we have over 700 translations of the Bible, we have youtube. Today you can say the gospel is preached in the whole world. You can't say that in 70 AD.

21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the
world until now—and never to be equaled again.

As bad as the distress was in 70 AD can anyone say it was unequaled during the Holocaust? Josephus notes 97,000 were enslaved and 580,000 died. The Holocaust, the pogroms, and the Spanish inquisition blow those numbers out of the water. The distress was equaled, easily, without any doubt. But Jesus said it will "never to be equaled again". People who teach this doctrine do not believe the words of Jesus.

Eli and his two sons were a shadow of the apostasy

1 Samuel 2:27 And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house? 28 And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel? 29 Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people? 30 Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. 31 Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house. 32 And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever. 33 And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age. 34 And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them. 35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever. 36 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

We faint not

2 Corinthians 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

If you are a "watchman" what ministry have you received? The ministry is not that you saw the Revelation 12 sign. The ministry you have received refers to the mercy that you have received. I met the Lord when I was 12, at that time I learned I would see His return. But that was not the ministry I received. At the same time I got the revelation that I was a Son of God. That was what blew me away. I wasn't going to be a spectator in a parade seeing the Lord return, I was a son of God. Think how huge that is! And I wasn't going to have to wait, He said I would see His return, that was future, but that I was a son of God, that was present! My life changed right then. That was the mercy I received. That took place 57 years ago. I haven't fainted. I hear these ones who got a vision in 2017 or 2020 that the Lord was about to return and now, 8 years later talking about how exhausted they are and they are going to faint. If you are going to faint you are focused on the wrong thing, what is the mercy that you received, present tense? Focus on that, not on the hope that you have not yet received.

The god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not.

2 Corinthians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

If you are a watchman then you must renounce the hidden things of dishonesty. How many false prophets have already flooded the zone? How many of these so called prophets "handle the word of God deceitfully"? I view ministry as being on the floor in the NBA. You aren't a spectator, you are a competitor. Satan's team is not going to let you just minister the word, they will do everything in their power to stop you. Everything includes everything that is legal but also things that are not legal. FreeMasons are on the board of directors for churches and they influence pastors and churches with their money. I avoid money, I don't take donations. I realize that the New Testament does not prohibit donations to a ministry but to my mind once you take donations you are opening yourself up to these people to think they are on your board of directors. Because I don't take donations I am not worried about offending anyone and I am also not worried about increase. The focus of this ministry is to find out what the Bible says about the rapture, what does the Lord say? For example, the Bible says there will be a ministry at the end of the age concerning the Lord's coming. Jesus commanded us repeatedly to watch for the signs of His coming and to "give the believers their food in the proper season". Daniel said these things would be hidden until the end of the age when they would be opened up. No one teaches this in the church and yet look into it and you would see that this ministry of "watchmen" is also a sign that we are at the end of the age.

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

The second thing any ministry must embrace is that it is a ministry of "the gospel". You are speaking "good news". If you are talking about the coming judgment, with war, and deceit, and horrific slaughter it does not sound like "good news". However, the good news is there is a way of salvation! It seems to me that some Christians don't even know the definition of salvation. It means deliverance from harm, ruin or loss. You have to let people see what is the imminent harm, ruin and loss. If they can't see what is coming it is because they are lost. Watchmen are telling people to get into the boat before the flood comes, you aren't telling people who are already in the boat, that is called "preaching to the choir". You are telling people who are lost and can't see that destruction is coming.

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

In the world most blind people know they are blind. They will appreciate people with sight guiding them out of a dangerous situation. But for the ministry of the word the blindness is worse, the people don't know they are blind. Their minds have been blinded so that they have been trained to avoid Christians, avoid ministries, and avoid the word of God.

Tracy Ullman does this comedy skit where she is applying for a job and the interviewer is so impressed with her and what she has done. He gives her the job and is so excited to have her join their company and then it leaks out that she is a Christian. At that point it becomes clear everything changes, she realizes that being a Christian would be a real problem with this company and so withdraws her application and by this time he and his colleagues are so relieved to not have some nut job Christian working with them. It is a very funny illustration of how the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not.

What are we ministering?

2 Corinthians 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

This is the explanation of why we "faint not". I now have over 16,000 posts on this blog, I average ten a day, every day, since the day I started. How can there be so much information about the rapture? I am not speaking from myself. If I was I would have run out a long, long time ago. All of this amazing stuff we have discovered is stuff the Lord Jesus has done and the creator of the Universe has done. When the Lord returns there will be billions of people caught by surprise. However, they will be without excuse because God will have given so many signs, so many fulfilled prophecies that there will be no excuse for not seeing His coming beforehand. Many of those people will have willfully shut their eyes. But there will also be others who feel they were cheated, they went to church and the pastor never told them. There will be a lot of "professional Christians" who will be blamed for not warning the people and telling them these things. However, the worst punishment will be for those who deceived people into thinking they were going to be raptured without telling them what was required to be raptured. There are churches that are filled with members who are not sanctified and were never taught that was a requirement, and yet they were assured that they would be taken. When that doesn't happen they will pour out their wrath on those false teachers. You don't fill a mega church with a message that the path to salvation is narrow and few that find it. No, you fill a mega church by ushering them onto the broad way that leads to destruction. When they realize they have been deceived they will know exactly who to blame for that.

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

This is the dark background for a ministry. All the false teachers, all the scam artists, all those who handle the word of God deceitfully, that is the contrast that makes the glory of God shine even brighter. Those fake ministries need a sound system that runs in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. They need a big auditorium, they need a staff of upwards of a hundred people. So for someone with no money and no staff to take them down, how? What a genuine ministry needs is the glory of God shining bright. When the Lord calls you, don't worry about money, or staff. Don't worry that you don't know how to do this or that. Instead pray that what you need to carry out this ministry that the Lord has called you to is for God to shine in your heart. A ministry needs to give the light of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. That is it. The darker the night, the more people will appreciate that light.

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

A normal, proper response to the Lord calling you is "I can't do it". Good. The power is of God, not of you. The Lord called this brother "David" to come and preach the gospel on my college campus, Rice University. This was an elite university, it had the highest percentage of valedictorians in the country. The university was primarily science and engineering. But David was a very simple man, not well educated. He was mocked and ridiculed by the students on that campus. Despite all that after four years the entire campus had been "evangelized" so that the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ was the focus. The spiritual warfare was out in the open, Satan was thrashing about, but the one very clear thing that could not be disputed was that the excellency of the power was of God, not of David.

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

There is a secret. You want to get into the word first thing in the morning before anything else happens. You want to be prayed up like making sure the tires on your car are filled with air. Then you simply ride over the "bumps" in the day like it is nothing. The enemy will attack you all day and yet when others are watching they can see nothing is bothering you.

11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

There is this misconception about what a victorious ministry looks like. A victorious ministry looks like the Patriots down 28-3 halfway through the third quarter and yet no one on their team appears defeated and no one on the other team thinks this game is over. Why? Because both teams know there is a resurrection life that will be made manifest and when everyone else would throw in the towel they won't.

12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Think about what we are ministering. People are at the end of their rope, they are ready to throw in the towel. They need to see a resurrection life that overcomes death, a life that gives you hope when there is no hope.

Keep your eyes on Jesus

2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

David would have been the last person I would have picked to send to that university. Everyone could see that. But he believed and therefore he spoke. He was ministering that faith to us. We also believed and so we also spoke and that is when the enemy began to flee and panic.

14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

Is this talking about the rapture or about our daily life? This has to be your experience. Watchman Nee shared that a martyr has the mindset of a martyr long before he is martyred. I would add that a raptured saint must live in the resurrection of Jesus prior to being raptured.

15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

If you spend time with the Lord every morning you will discover this. You will discover that the word you need is yours, you will discover that the joy and peace you need are yours. You will discover that despite being a fool and having no wisdom that the wisdom you need is yours.

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Again, the focus of this chapter is that we faint not. Your outward man is going to perish, you will get older, you will have all the same trials and tribulations every other person goes through, but what you have is the renewing of the inner man. That is the good news. People will see that you are being renewed while they aren't. In the world they use terms like "healing" and "balance" and all kinds of weird things because they aren't being renewed and they are desperate to find something that will recharge them.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Rocky Marciano was before my time. I only learned about him late in life. Jerry Rice is probably the best modern day analogy. These two athletes had a training regimen that was so brutal no one else would even consider it. Superstar athletes would come to train with them and then quit after the first day saying this guy is crazy. But as a result a 12 round heavyweight boxing match was a "light affliction" for Rocky, whereas for his opponent it felt like he was going through hell. This is who we have within us, Jesus Christ can make that 12 round fight we are going through seem like a momentary light affliction.

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

💥UNDENIABLE PROOF THIS YEAR HAS GOT TO BE THE YEAR OF RAPTURE

There is some wiggle room, it is possible that Jesus was crucified in 33 AD, and it is also possible to say that Matthew 24 saying "all these things will take place before the fig tree generation passes away" does not include armageddon.

However, the pattern of 6 days from Adam to today is very clear. It was confirmed by 2 days from Abraham to Jesus and 2 days from Jesus to today.

Also the context of Peter saying a thousand years is as one day to God is the context of when the end of the age is.

So then, although there could be a little wiggle room, there cannot be a lot of wiggle room.
