Luke 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

This sums up what the Lord means when the word of God is sent out to accomplish all that the Lord has sent it to do. Yes, we can say that God desires all men to be saved. But first they need to confess and repent. That means at first you must confess that you can't see and can't understand, then you need to repent for the things in your heart preventing the word of God from taking root.

Luke 8:16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

What is a lampstand or Candlestick? It is a place where you can set the light so that all may see. When I had a job as a teacher in a public school we were not allowed to speak the word of God on the job. Obviously there is a gray area, but talking about Jesus Christ as savior, or the only way to the Father, or how everyone is a sinner that needs to repent would have gotten you fired. You would not be fired for bringing a Bible to school, but if students saw it and asked about it then you might get fired for answering those questions. That job was a vessel for me to fill with food and feed my family. You don't put the candle under that vessel. While at work I had to submit to the rules of the job, but there are 160 hours in a week and only 30 of those hours are school hours. However, if you were to put your ministry on social media like Facebook you have to abide by their rules. I did not break any of their rules and yet I was suspended for 30 days for speaking about the Bible because a number of atheists became antagonistic. The same thing happened on a "Christian forum". There are atheist forums, but no one goes there, they dry up fast. So instead Atheists form "Christian forums" where they can attack Christians with impunity. I stood my ground and was suspended there as well, not for breaking any rules but because they were unable to silence me sharing the gospel. Now you might think that the candlestick refers to the church. The temple of God has a lampstand. But think about this, where do you put a light bulb? The church has light bulbs, does that mean that is the only place we have light bulbs? We put light bulbs in places that need light and so the Lord has put you in a place that needs light. You need to find a solid place where no one can silence you. If you are surrounded by darkness that is fine, you will be a light shining in the darkness.

17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

This is a big promise. We can stand on this. We can pray that any thing done in secret would be made manifest. We can pray anything hid would be made known. But the context is that people, who have labored to prepare their heart to be good ground so the word of God can grow and fruitful, and that have set up their ministry in a solid place so their light can shine in the darkness without anyone having the ability to silence them if the Lord doesn't allow it. It is a glory to the light that the darkness is conquered by it, but the candle gets to share in that glory. Christ in you, the hope of glory.

18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

No scripture is of its own interpretation

The Bible is the word of God. You can't have an interpretation of one scripture that is contrary to the interpretation of another scripture.

Luke 8:19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. 20 And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. 21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

So then if I hear and obey and do the word of God I am part of the Lord's family.

Revelation 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

In the same way it is not reasonable to interpret Luke 8:19 that anyone who hears the Lord's word and does it is part of His family and then read this verse in Revelation that the 144,000 are chosen based on their DNA or their culture.

James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

Either the book of James was written to you or it wasn't? He is very clear in his book that we must be "doers of the word and not hearers only". He does not claim to be the brother of the Lord Jesus, but rather a servant of the Lord Jesus. Servants hear and do what they are told.

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

This is not some weird teaching. The weird non Biblical teaching is the one suggesting there are two groups of people: Jews and Greeks. The only way that all these verses make sense is if the 12 tribes in the flesh are a shadow of the spiritual reality and anyone who hears the Lords word and does it becomes a member of the Israel which is above.

Jesus Christ is the vine, we are the branches. That vine tree is the Israel of God. Yes, there is an "Israel according to the flesh" but flesh will not inherit the promises of God. Either you are attached to the vine tree, bearing fruit or you are cut off, withered up and about to be tossed into the fire.

Luke 8:22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. 23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.

They were in jeopardy meant the boat was in danger of sinking.

24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Jesus is not disputing the fact that the boat was in jeopardy of sinking. When He said "where is your faith?" He didn't mean that they were to ignore the fact that the boat was sinking. Instead they were the ones who were to rebuke the wind and the raging water in the name of Jesus. The Lord was training them what it means to be sent out by the Lord to preach.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The Cavern Collapse of US SALT DOME Oil Reserves When Emptied, Like in PET GOAT! Dolly, Tainted Beef

Great correlation between Biblical prophesies and the news

Thus, now that we see the oil running out, they come to the Savior. When in fact they should have been faithful and waiting all along the journey.

They are out of oil. literally. And so now they turn to Christ. They who come late to the wedding are not allowed in.

Thank you ZNP for your thought provoking work.

The oil in the parable is literally the oil of the worlds economy that the unwise virgins have relied upon. Whereas the oil of the wise is favor of Jesus Christ. And now, their oil is running out.
The previous post I made (#16,846) does a great job of corresponding the SPR running out of oil and collapsing at precisely the same time the Antichrist is revealed.

Which is fascinating when seen through the parable of the ten virgins. The US has stored up oil for when a war begins, but over the last few months we have gone through half of the entire reserves, and according to experts, once you get as low as we are now there is irreversible damage done to these caverns. They have to keep the caverns filled with liquid, otherwise they will collapse from the weight above, so if they are half empty of oil that means they are half full with water which erodes the salt. Based on stories I have heard (no one will give you a precise timeline) we have gone through 75% of the recoverable reserves. We have done this in about six months, so at most we have two more months to go. By all accounts Iran will hold out until the elections. Now since I know that a week of years known as a Shemitah begins on the Feast of Trumpets, and since I also know that the Jews will first dedicate the altar on the feast of Trumpets and that is when the oblations and sacrifices will begin, I have concluded that the seventieth week begins on the Feast of Trumpets. The Jews do not need to build a temple for the oblations and sacrifices to resume. I would also expect they would give as little warning as possible to this event since the last time Hamas thought they were going to do this they invaded.

So then the question I have had is will it be this year (September 11/12th) or next year or later? This issue with the salt and the oil reserves resolves that question. The christians who are left behind are those without oil and that will definitely take place this fall, next year is too far away.

If the fall of Babylon is drawn out, then perhaps next year. But it is my understanding that nations will band together to kill Babylon quickly (Rev. 17:12-13, Rev. 17:16).

My understanding of the judgment on the US (chapter 18 or Revelation) takes one hour. However, there is a corresponding judgment on the Catholic church as well (Chapter 17 or Revelation). The one hour judgement is going to be similar to a taking a great millstone and throwing it in the ocean. I understand that to mean a great meteorite hits off the coast of Puerto Rico causing a massive Tsunami on the East coast and two horrific earthquakes, one splitting the US down the New Madrid Fault line (Mississippi river) and the other down the San Andreas and Cascadia faults that cause a slice of the West coast to fall into the ocean. The devastation from this will be truly horrific. However, the US will also be hit with ten suitcase nukes, with one of the cities wiped out being Manhattan.

I believe Ezekiel 38 also refers to this as the US is the land of unwalled villages and some nations will come to the US after the catastrophe to take spoil. Basically the US will be repaid double for all they have done in other countries.

As for the Catholic church I think they will slaughter the leaders of that church right after the rapture.

The RAPTURED BRIDE and the LEFT BEHIND SAINTS hidden in Luke & Mark - find out before it is too late

I feel like I have figured out from the Bible that the 70th week, commonly known as a "seven year tribulation" begins on Rosh Hashanah, or on Feast of Trumpets (same day on the calendar). The question I have had is whether or not it will be this year or next. I feel based on the possible years for the crucifixion and a few prophecies tied to both the crucifixion and 70 AD destruction of the temple that it really needs to be one of these two years.

However, the news today I feel is crystal clear, a famine begins this year.

1. virtually all of Ukraine's grain shipments and a lot of Russia's grain shipments have been shut down as the Black Sea shipping has been shut down. Russia and Ukraine are two of the biggest exporters of grain in the world.

2. There is going to be a shortage of fertilizer globally due to the war in the Mideast and the damage done to the oil refineries which will likely take 2 years to repair.

3. There is a huge crack spread as a result of the damage to the refineries causing the price of diesel to spike very high which will cause inflation to just about all shipping and trucking.

4. This is going to be a huge super El Nino year which will cause fires, droughts, floods, and messed up harvest.

5. Strategic Petroleum Reserves of the US and many other countries has been exhausted. At most we have two more months left, but even that is unlikely.

Then on top of all that the US, China, Japan, Korea, Russia and Iran are all on the verge of bankruptcy. High inflation, bond yields surging, buyers of their debt evaporating, etc.

All these things are telling me that the Famine starts this year, the Black horse of the apocalypse rides this year.

Luke 9:14 For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.

15 And they did so, and made them all sit down.

16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

17 And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

50 people is an ideal number for a small church congregation. You have enough people to have children's work, young people, couples, etc. But not so big that everyone won't get to know everyone else and you will have a very nice little church life. You are small enough that you can actually meet in someone's home, or a conference room at a hotel. The church is small enough that everyone will feel they need to participate in the service and the work. People will invite each other to their homes for fellowship. I have met with churches that had 200 active members, another with 2,000 members, and one with 50 members. The church with 50 members grew to 100 in about a years time. The church with 200 did not grow very quickly, but then 100 members went to another city to raise up a church and in about 18 months they had grown from 100 to 200 members again. The church with 2,000 didn't grow at all. It seemed for everyone who came into the church someone else left.

It seems to me, from my experience that you want the church meeting to be a mentoring. You start at 50, when you get to 200 it is time for 100 to go start another church. That means while you are growing you have to train the members in the service and work of the church. People sharing testimonies, people sharing the messages, people taking charge with the service to keep everything operational. By the time you have 200 you should have a meeting hall. The church that started with 50 members, we got a meeting hall when we got to a 100 members. If 50 people come from a larger congregation and establish a church and a year later they have 100 members the original congregation should be able to assist them with getting a meeting hall. Also you should do all the construction yourself with your own members, that cuts the cost by 65%. You will also find that construction is what some of the members can do as a service. Hiring workers robs them of their service and letting members do the work themselves makes them invested in the building and realize this is their church.

Now imagine these 5,000 members are now ten congregations and in one year they double to 10,000 members and shortly after that the ten congregations become 30 congregations. No wonder people are wondering who this is.

18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?

19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

Do you realize this pattern is given to us in the Galilean wedding. When the man proposes to the girl he has 2 years to build a place for them to live. This is exciting for young people to be building their own home, it makes them invested in this future family. When that church with 50 grew to 100 and we built a meeting hall (we bought a warehouse like building and then built everything inside it) the young people did the work, the middle aged men were the ones who designed and oversaw the work and the elders came and brought refreshments and did other things, including donating funds. People from other churches helped. But within two years of being there we went from a home meeting, to a meeting in a conference room at the hotel to having our own meeting hall.

Persecution is like a strong wind blowing the dandelion seeds far and wide.

Luke 9:21 And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing; 22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

Do you realize if the churches were spreading and growing exponentially like this then it forces the hand of Satan. They have to reject the Lord, they have to kill Him, otherwise the whole world will follow Him. Dead Christianity is fine, it doesn't force Satan's hand, Cathedrals are fine, no problem there, it makes a place for the foul birds to roost like cardinals and other birds. Congregations of 50 threaten the tele evangelists and mega church pastors as well, a congregation that small can't afford to hire a pastor and certainly is not going to provide enough income for these pastors with private planes and mansions. This approach threatens the Vatican, the Prosperity gospel preachers, and the large institutional churches with huge trust funds.

23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

The elders of the churches that had 50 to 200 people were all self employed. They all had full time jobs. To be an elder was a labor of love. However, because of Christianity everyone has been poisoned. It isn't hard after twenty years of this kind of growth to think we need Bishops. What happened was that some of the brothers were very good speakers and they would travel around to the many congregations and give conferences. They also started a publishing ministry. This resulted in full time paid workers and only once we had paid workers did we also attract the unsaved. You have to take up your cross daily. If you were able to faithfully do this work for 20 years it is possible for the little church to have grown into 25 million nationwide. But the minute you want to institutionalize this you will attract false brothers. Peter told us the false brothers want to make merchandise of you. It is impossible to make merchandise of 50, but 25 million, that is a very different story. The church will get a book room, and that is the opening for making merchandise of you. Imagine every church having a book room where they have their books they are selling you. A few people could get rich doing that. Speaking the word of God is good, publishing the word of God is good, but freely you received, freely you should give. Suppose instead of a bookroom you had a library where members could borrow books. This way you could buy books, read them, and then share them with the bookroom. Imagine anyone in the church who wrote books offering them as Pdf's free on the church website. Imagine the library putting together a list of books from Christian authors over the last few hundred years that they thought were the most profitable. If you do this you minister to those who want to learn and grow while not providing any way for the false brothers to come in and make merchandise of you. Yes there will be churches that feel deficient in having a speaker, but the other churches could make videos of their messages. While in Houston we would watch messages from a brother in California every Friday night. With Youtube and Zoom there is no reason these things cannot be done freely, again eliminating the possibility of encouraging false brothers to come in and make merchandise of you. The bottom line, take up your cross daily and follow the example of Jesus Christ.

24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

The reason the growth was so quick with those small churches was because everyone was functioning. We were not getting spectators, we were getting participants.

25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

If everyone is participating then on the one hand the work progresses rapidly, on the other hand it doesn't belong to anyone. No one person is building their own little empire.

26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

A mega church pastor or a tele evangelist would be ashamed to be the elder of a congregation of 50 saints.

27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

But when you see the Lord moving and working in a thousand different people, well then, you have seen the kingdom of God.

28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. 29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. 30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: 31 Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

When you have seen the kingdom of God moving on earth, well then Satan has no choice. If he doesn't act immediately the whole earth will be following the Lord. This is a blog about the rapture, but the rapture comes when Satan has no choice but to try and kill the revival.

For example, think about Charlie Kirk. The enemy is not stupid. He knows if you assassinate Charlie Kirk it will be a very big deal and could cause millions to turn to the Lord. Persecution has always caused the church to grow. Persecution is like a strong wind blowing the dandelion seeds far and wide.

32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

33 And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

34 While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

This is the common thought we have been raised with. We look to the "great men". The five talented ones like Moses and Elijah. But the church has to keep it simple. We have the New Testament. That should be our focus. We have the Old Testament, that should help you understand the New Testament. Moses and Elijah should help illuminate the Lord's words. The most important thing is to be able to hear the Lord's speaking to you.

I once visited a number of small churches that had been shaken by a rebellion. They were lost, they didn't know what to do after hearing that the ones they had trusted in to speak the word had been involved in rebellion. But what they eventually did was remarkable. They began to pray read the Bible. The meeting was composed of them taking a passage of scripture that they would read, and pray. Everyone could speak, but whatever you said began with the scripture and ended with prayer. So we could read Luke 9, share about it, and then pray about it, and this from everyone sitting there. They could read, share and pray for an hour over a passage and when you left that meeting you felt like you also had been on the mountain of transfiguration.

Right after this portion you have the father with the epileptic son. We saw this as well. To stand up and speak a testimony about the Lord in front of the church is terrifying, but if you are entertaining demons during the day you will have this reaction. Basically the same thing happened to me when I first came into that church. I already said the elders called me into a room concerned about me and basically rebuked that demon.

44 Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

What do they need to do? When Jesus was delivered into the hands of men what did they do? They gathered together, they prayed, they saw the resurrected Lord, they were filled with the Spirit and then Peter, James and John stood up. The Lord has a plan to bring the Kingdom of the heavens to earth and He understands Satan can kill people. The church grows to 200 and then releases two groups of 50 to start two more congregations and multiply. Likewise the ministry raises up a leader like the Lord Jesus only to release three members trained under Him to multiply the ministry regardless of what the enemy tries to do. "All he can do the foe, is just release the flow".

Two big risks

46 Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.

47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,

48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

After years of growth and spiritual warfare you get to big for your britches, thinking the little babes in Christ are too inexperienced in the Lord, rather than realizing the Lord speaks through every member of the body.

49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. 50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

The second is thinking you are now in a position to be the "judge" and forbid others. People will get excited and want to participate and that is a very good thing, even if they make a few mistakes.

Know the mission

52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. 53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Our mission is to bring salvation, not destruction. It is easy when being mocked, insulted and rejected to want the Lord's judgment to come in immediately. Our message is that the Lord's judgment is coming, but we have the good news of how you can be saved from that coming judgment.

Know the cost

57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

When you preach the gospel you should include the cost. People have the right to be offended if you misled them. Let them know from the outset there is a cost to following the Lord.

Serving the Lord should be your priority

59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

Many treat serving the Lord as a hobby they do when it is convenient and they have time. It needs to be your priority. They will serve if no other obligations conflict. That means that service is not the priority, it is down the list. If you do that pretty soon everything is a priority, even waiting for your parents to die.

Do not allow your family and friends to keep you from serving the Lord

61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

This is what Elisha did when Elijah called him. In the Old testament the ministry of Elijah is the ministry of the raptured saints and the ministry of Elisha is the ministry of the left behind saints.

Are they letting us know of the midnight cry?

The Announcement
    • The Ruling: A rabbinical court (beit din) led by Rabbi Yisrael Ariel announced plans to revive the practice of blowing the shofar on Shabbat when Rosh Hashanah falls on Saturday. [1]
    • The Location: The group stated they will convene at the Temple Institute in the Old City of Jerusalem to perform the blowing, as reported by Israel365 News. [1]

I believe the midnight cry will involve a dedication of the altar with both oblations and sacrifices beginning on Rosh Hashanah from 6am to 9am, which would be the midnight hour (middle of the night) in the US.

Musical instruments including trumpets and horns were part of major dedication ceremonies in the Temple traditions, though historical records specific to King Herod the Great's altar dedication emphasize priestly and sacrificial rites rather than a specific mention of a shofar blast. [1]

Dedication Context

    • Herod's Project: King Herod began his massive Second Temple renovation around 20–19 BCE. [1, 2]
    • The Altar: The altar of burnt offering was prioritized and completed first so that daily sacrifices (korbanot) could continue while the main sanctuary was built. [1, 2]
    • Historical Sources: The primary account of the completion and dedication of Herod's building phases comes from the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus in his work Antiquities of the Jews.

Musical Instruments in Temple Rites

    • Silver Trumpets (Chatzotzrot): Daily operations and special festive dedications in the Temple relied heavily on the pair of silver trumpets mandated by Mosaic law for the priests to accompany sacrifices. [1, 2]
    • The Shofar: While the shofar was sounded in the Temple complex during specific holidays like Rosh Hashanah or the onset of the Sabbath, standard daily rituals and structural completions generally featured the Levitical orchestra and silver trumpets rather than the ram's horn. Josephus records formal musical accompaniment with harps, lyres, and trumpets during major gatherings, but does not explicitly document a shofar blowing specifically at the moment of the altar's unveiling under Herod.
