Are they letting us know of the midnight cry?

The Announcement
    • The Ruling: A rabbinical court (beit din) led by Rabbi Yisrael Ariel announced plans to revive the practice of blowing the shofar on Shabbat when Rosh Hashanah falls on Saturday. [1]
    • The Location: The group stated they will convene at the Temple Institute in the Old City of Jerusalem to perform the blowing, as reported by Israel365 News. [1]

I believe the midnight cry will involve a dedication of the altar with both oblations and sacrifices beginning on Rosh Hashanah from 6am to 9am, which would be the midnight hour (middle of the night) in the US.

Musical instruments including trumpets and horns were part of major dedication ceremonies in the Temple traditions, though historical records specific to King Herod the Great's altar dedication emphasize priestly and sacrificial rites rather than a specific mention of a shofar blast. [1]

Dedication Context

    • Herod's Project: King Herod began his massive Second Temple renovation around 20–19 BCE. [1, 2]
    • The Altar: The altar of burnt offering was prioritized and completed first so that daily sacrifices (korbanot) could continue while the main sanctuary was built. [1, 2]
    • Historical Sources: The primary account of the completion and dedication of Herod's building phases comes from the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus in his work Antiquities of the Jews.

Musical Instruments in Temple Rites
    • Silver Trumpets (Chatzotzrot): Daily operations and special festive dedications in the Temple relied heavily on the pair of silver trumpets mandated by Mosaic law for the priests to accompany sacrifices. [1, 2]
    • The Shofar: While the shofar was sounded in the Temple complex during specific holidays like Rosh Hashanah or the onset of the Sabbath, standard daily rituals and structural completions generally featured the Levitical orchestra and silver trumpets rather than the ram's horn. Josephus records formal musical accompaniment with harps, lyres, and trumpets during major gatherings, but does not explicitly document a shofar blowing specifically at the moment of the altar's unveiling under Herod.
According to rabbinic history the Shofar was blown on Shabbat when the Temple stood. This order is pointing to the Sanhedrin hinting that starting with this Rosh Hashanah the temple will be standing again.

The midnight cry, the bridegroom cometh

I want to clarify something, Yes, I believe that the seventieth week begins on Rosh Hashanah which is also the Feast of Trumpets or "Day of shouting". However, I am not claiming that is the day of the rapture. The rapture could be before it, the rapture could be after it. I don't know. There is a nine day window from Feast of Trumpets to the eve of Yom Kippur, at sundown on the ninth day the "gate closes" which in the parable of the ten virgins is when the foolish virgins arrive and are told they are locked out. Since I don't know the day of the rapture I also do not know the day that the Antichrist is revealed since I expect that is after the rapture. So saying the seventieth week starts on the first day of the year is not a big deal since the 69 weeks (the term week here refers to a period of seven years, in Hebrew it is Shemitah) prior to the 70th week all began on Rosh Hashanah.

This should not bother anyone who is adamant that "no one knows the day or hour of the rapture". Trying to figure out the year doesn't violate that and there is absolutely nothing in the Bible that could be seen as clear proof that the rapture takes place on the day the seventieth week begins. In fact, I don't think it does. I think the "midnight cry" in the Feast of Trumpets refers to the cry the Bridegroom cometh, and that is equivalent to the Feast of Trumpets or "Day of shouting".

I also believe that the midnight cry will be because the Jews dedicate their altar on the Temple mount at 9am on Rosh Hashanah.

I have been talking about the Rapture since 2020 and the single biggest objection I have gotten from Christians is the rapture will not be right now, not until the Jews rebuild the Temple. So dedicating the Altar on the Feast of Trumpets (that is when they will do it) is the first step and when all these Christians see that they will immediately go from being naysayers to rising up to lead the way to the wedding feast. Now you might think that the rapture would be on the evening of the ninth day when the sun sets because that is when the door closes. I don't think so, the nine days prior to Yom Kippur are there for people to repent and get right with the Lord. I think being left behind will be the ultimate rebuke and will cause many left behind Christians to repent. When the gate closes it means the opportunity to repent has ended. In the parable of the ten virgins they were foolish because they thought they could simply use oil someone else paid the price for. They repent of that, but they knock on the door after the deadline to repent is over. That doesn't mean they can't get saved, it means they must go through the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation and most likely they will be tribulation martyrs. The high priest is brought into the temple while there are still three days to go before Yom Kippur, so that to me is a type of the rapture. But it is in the Talmud, I don't think it is in the Bible. That is simply the tradition of man. You could also make a case that the rapture is the "midnight cry". I don't believe that is true, but my main point is I am not telling you a day much less an hour. I am not even talking about when the rapture is, not exactly.

Peter says that judgment must begin with the house of God. Yom Kippur is judgment day in the Bible. I believe that the seventieth week begins on Rosh Hashanah and the first judgment is on the church, the house of God. Some will be raptured, and some will be rebuked. Now if the rapture is "Judgment day" that could be the day of the rapture. The raptured saints go to the Wedding feast which is Tishrei 15, Rosh Hashanah is Tishrei 1, that is a two week period which I would say is my best guess at narrowing down the time range to a two week period.

Which is why seeing the Jews dedicate the altar on the Temple mount at 9am on Rosh Hashanah would be "the midnight cry, the bridegroom cometh".

Convincing evidence for a 2026 Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets

He also believes that the time of the rapture must be at the Feast of Trumpets. However, I look at this slightly different. I believe the seventieth week begins on Feast of Trumpets, and that Judgment must begin at the house of God. So the first thing that takes place in the 70th week is the judgement of the house of God which includes the rapture. I don't think the rapture has to be on Feast of Trumpets, in stead I think it precedes the feast of tabernacles, giving you a two week window.

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

The Bible translations are divided with many saying 70 and many others saying 72.

70 reminds us of Moses appointing 70 leaders of Israel to help him run the country, like a Sanhedrin. 72 reminds us of the 144,000 as it is 72x2,000 = 144,000. But actually, the number 72 reminds us of the 70 that Moses appointed because you had the 70 + Moses and Joshua.

2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Either way, I believe that these 70 are in training to be this special force. You don't become a navy Seal by watching movies and talking about navy Seals. You have to go through this training and have these experiences.

3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

If you have had the experience of being a lamb among wolves you will not respond to certain testimonies saying your brothers and sisters are "conspiracy theorists". It was amazing to me how many people thought skepticism of Anthony Fauci indicated you were a nut job. It is not until you see and realize that you are lamb among wolves that you will become skeptical and take any hint of deceit very seriously.

4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

In other words, have no respect for money or man. This doesn't mean you are to be rude and obnoxious. The point is anyone who thinks money or name recognition is important for a ministry should raise an immediate red flag. When I saw all the national politicians at Charlie Kirk's memorial that was a red flag to me. When a prominent position in the memorial was given to a woman who was responsible for giving Charlie Kirk millions of dollars to start the ministry that was also a major red flag to me. People who give millions of dollars or name recognition to a ministry expect something in return. If you want to be faithful to the Lord you should not allow either of these things because if you do, they will expect you listen to them and not the Lord. You can claim that you will continue to listen to the Lord only, but then they may say they have a right to kill you because you violated their expected quid pro quo.

5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

The most obvious example is "into whatever church congregation you enter".

6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

When the Lord said He is sending us a lambs among wolves that includes church congregations. If you are in a church congregation seeking the Lord without any other ambition or motive, and yet it seems there is a lot of turmoil, then that tells you the son of peace is not there. I remember when I was a freshman in college I came to a Christian congregation. All I wanted was to experience the Lord. But it seemed like there was this turmoil created with people attacking me for no reason. At first it seemed the attacks were only from a minority of brothers, but they were all elders. Over twenty years it was clear there was a lot of turmoil in this church, they called them "rebellions". There were a lot of brothers who were excommunicated. They were never actually able to manufacture anything against me to "excommunicate me" and my resume (my history of giving myself to the Lord) was known by all. I had been very active in gospel work, in raising up new churches, and in serving the ministry. However, behind the scenes they had tried to make my life so miserable that I would simply leave on my own. But this was a minority, basically just leading brothers in the churches and those aspiring to take the lead.

7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

So despite this attack I stayed and labored for twenty years. Wherever you go, you will be a lamb among wolves, if not something is very wrong.

8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: 9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

The key reason is that I was permitted to speak and I spoke in just about every meeting we had.

10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, 11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

But the day did come when I raised an issue that they refused to address and refused to let me speak. So I did go out and I did wipe off the dust. I had to make a public statement so that no one would misunderstand that I was supporting the actions of some. The elders were trying to excommunicate one of the leading brothers. I didn't know him, but I did respond to all the reasons they had published as to why they were excommunicating him.

12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

Chorazin and Bethsaida are two fishing villages in Galilee, they might be the home of some of the apostles. In other words cities with a really good "lineage" according to the faith. Jesus even tells us that great works were done in them. Meanwhile Tyre and Sidon are two pagan cities with a history of rebellion against God.

14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

We are lambs among wolves. There are two kinds of places we can go, one is a place that looks great for Christians without "wolves" and the other is a place that looks like it is inhabited by wolves. A place many Christians would be afraid to go. However, the reality is that they both have wolves, the difference is that in Chorazin and Bethsaida the wolves are disguised as sheep, they are "wolves in sheep's clothing". It is like what Paul talked about in Galatians, false brothers secretly who have snuck in to bring you into captivity.

15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

This is the other thing I have seen. The "headquarters" of a denomination, or a "franchise church" like the Vatican is for the Catholic church, these places are the absolute worst.

16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

Jan Hus (1369–1415):
A Czech theologian and reformer who attacked the selling of indulgences and papal authority. He was excommunicated, lured to the Council of Constance under a promise of safe conduct, and burned at the stake after refusing to recant his views. [1]

Girolamo Savonarola (1452–1498): An Italian Dominican friar who briefly ruled Florence, preaching fiery sermons against clerical corruption and papal vice. He was excommunicated by Pope Alexander VI, hanged, and then burned in the public square. [1]

William Tyndale (c. 1494–1536): An English scholar who translated the Bible into English against the wishes of the Church authorities. He was betrayed, strangled, and burned at the stake near Brussels after being found guilty of heresy.

and of course Martin Luther who was excommunicated and

John Wycliffe (c. 1328–1384): An English theologian who translated the Vulgate Bible into Middle English. Decades after he died of natural causes, the Council of Constance declared him a heretic in 1415. His bones were ordered to be dug up, burned, and cast into the River Swift.

Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

In Revelation 12 the manchild is caught up to heaven and Satan and the fallen angels are cast out of heaven to earth. This is what happens at the rapture, at that point it becomes clear to everyone that the religious leaders who are left behind were lying to them. No one is going to listen to them anymore. However, Luke 10 shows that there is a training to get to this point. Jesus told us to go into all the world as His witnesses. That was the training. Some Christians have obeyed and been trained. Many have not obeyed, they will be left behind. They are not ready to rule and reign with Christ.

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. 22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. 23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: 24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

The first time I was openly attacked by the elders in the meeting I went home and prayed about it and the word I got was from Galatians, Paul saying he didn't give place to them for even five minutes. So I took that word and in the next meeting I was the first to stand up and share a testimony. It was like they were a paper tiger. (A lot of people don't know what that means. In football if your opponents mascot is a tiger you make a big paper banner of the tiger and then your football team runs through that banner onto the field. Running right through that paper tiger is a picture of something that looks fierce and scary but is in reality a joke.

I noticed that although everything they said clearly could only refer to me, they never actually used my name or said it was referring to me. It was brilliant, but the best way to respond was to act as though they weren't talking about me. The reason they don't actually use your name or call you out plainly is because then you can sue them. They use innuendos and it is like a fishing lure, if you bite they catch you. They didn't actually say this was you, you did when you responded. When I saw that I got very good at completely ignoring the innuendos.

I remember at one meeting I was surrounded afterwards and they wanted to know who the elder was talking about. It was crystal clear he could only be talking about me. But I said "I don't know, ask him". That was the beginning of the end for him as he was fully exposed in about two to three weeks.

Who are the 70? Where did they come from?

Luke 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Why does the Lord allow this man to fall among thieves? That is the same thing as asking why does the Lord send us out as lambs among wolves. To be stripped of your raimant is to be humiliated, robbed of your righteousness as a covering. Think about a woman being raped. Or a man who is convicted of a felony. These are permanent stains. Not only so but he was injured. Think of the injuries and losses we can go through in life that are also in many ways permanent. Think about being "half dead" when you got saved and turned to the Lord and nursed back to health. Experiences like that can become a "governing vision". You have empathy for all who are in the same condition and you know how to nurse them back to health since you were nursed back to health. You remain permanently changed on the outside, which is why you are now a "samaritan" but on the inside you are in the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus, which is why you go and do likewise. The Lord allowed this because you have to go through an experience like this before you will be motivated to go through everything required to be one of the seventy.

Suppose you went through something like this and then decided to become a Navy Seal. The training was brutal, but you didn't quit because you knew if you quit you would always be defeated for your whole life. Now, once you have completed that training you are not the one who is defeated by serpents and scorpions, rather you are the one treading on them. Satan is not the one tormenting you, rather you are the one making Satan fall from his spot in the sky like lightning.

Satan is not scared of the majority of Christians, but he is scared of the 70.

What is the conclusion?

Luke 10:38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Imagine you are absolute for the Lord, you give yourself fully to serve the Lord and yet for some reason you are not one of the seventy. Why is that? It is like a Chemical reaction, it needs time and you are giving it all the time, that is not the problem. But it also needs one crucial ingredient, and that is the Lord's instant speaking to you. If I had not gone to the Lord that night to pray about what happened and gotten the word from Galatians to not give way to them for five minutes, I would never have learned how to counter their attack. You can be dedicated and go through all the same suffering, but without that instant word from the Lord it doesn't matter, you won't be transformed.

I should add that prior to the first attack I had decided to study the book of Galatians. I was reading it everyday and praying over it to have experiential knowledge of this book. Be careful what you pray for, you just might get it. My point is by sitting at the Lord's feet seeking a word from Him preceded this experience, it was a critical ingredient.

The 3 Tests God Built Into Scripture To Expose a False Prophet - And Why They Still Work Today?

"Whatever the Lord speaks to me that will I speak."
False prophets make people believe in a lie.

A genuine prophet doesn't make you believe in anything. They give you the warning, what you do with it is between you and God. But false prophets make it a requirement to believe the lie, if you refuse you will be beaten and imprisoned.

A genuine prophet does not think that people agreeing with him adds credibility. But false prophets point to how many other false prophets agree with them as though that adds credibility.

As a rule I hate timelines of the tribulation because if you have five different timelines you know that 4 are wrong and very likely all five are wrong.

However, on the other hand I do like attempting to correlate current events and signs in the heavens with the Bible and there is no doubt just about everyone is in agreement that Apophis is a candidate for wormwood, which is the third trumpet in Revelation. Even if they are not ruling out other candidates, just about everyone agrees this could be wormwood. (When I say "just about everyone" I am being very specific to those, like myself, tying current events to prophecies indicating that the seventieth week is imminent.

Because of other timelines I thought Apophis hit in the middle of the seventieth week, which would have meant that the seventieth week should have begun in 2025, but this guy has a theory explaining that the 3rd trumpet takes place 2 1/2 years into the seventieth week. Which works perfectly with the seventieth week beginning in 2026, Feast of Trumpets.

2026 Rapture 👉 Best Evidence I've Seen Yet

I think much of what he says is a little confused, but he makes a compelling case for Apophis being wormwood and taking place 2 1/2 years into the seven year period we call "the tribulation". [I dislike the term "the Tribulation" because all believers go through tribulation, however since Jesus said at that time will be great tribulation such as has never been or will ever be again, you can consider the term Biblical.]

Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

This is the verse that is used to conclude that Jesus ascended to the heavens 40 days after the resurrection. But it is clearly a mathematical mistake.

There are two ways to interpret this verse, either you can conclude that Jesus appeared 40 different days to the disciples. The problem is that the first day and the second are a week apart and the third time was a three day journey from Jerusalem. So the first three times span at least 10 days and so even if the next 37 are every day that is 47 days, not 40.

The other option is that this verse means He appeared on 40 consecutive days, but then that would have to be from the 3rd appearance, which would be 50 days after the resurrection, which is Shavuot.

Here is the problem with saying it was 47 days. If Jesus ascends after 47 days then nothing else in this chapter makes sense because of course they will remain in Jerusalem, they have to be there for Shavuot. Also, they won't be there for many days, because Shavuot is barely two days away.

The only reasonable conclusion is that Jesus ascended as a fulfillment of Shavuot which is one of the feasts of the Lord that He will fulfill. Moses ascending the mountain to get the marriage contract is the shadow of Jesus' ascension.

This also means that "many days" in Jerusalem refers to 50 days until the Feast of New wine.

Acts 1:3 does not give a timeline of appearances; it gives a duration of teaching, and the “forty days” refers to the period in which Jesus continued instructing the disciples about the kingdom — not the number of appearances, nor the spacing between them. Luke is not doing calendar math; he is giving a theological marker, the same way Moses’ forty days on Sinai, Israel’s forty years in the wilderness, and Jesus’ forty days of testing all function as covenant‑shaping periods.

Nothing in Acts 1 requires that every appearance be counted, nor that the forty days be consecutive, nor that they begin with the first appearance. Luke simply says Jesus was seen and spoke over a span of forty days — a summary, not a chronology. The gaps between appearances don’t break the forty‑day period any more than the gaps in Moses’ ascent break his forty days on Sinai.

Your Shavuot connection is thoughtful, but Acts 1:3 doesn’t demand it. Jesus’ ascension is placed where Luke puts it: before Pentecost, with the disciples waiting “not many days hence.” Pentecost itself fulfills the feast — the giving of the Spirit, not the ascension — just as the Law was given at Sinai, not Moses’ climb.

So the text stands as written: Jesus taught for forty days after His resurrection, and the ascension occurred within that window, exactly as Luke reports. If you want, we can walk through Acts 1 or the biblical use of forty‑day periods to see how Luke is using the number.

When you look at Mary and Martha through the lens of your own walk, the Lord’s word becomes incredibly tender rather than corrective. Martha was dedicated, she was serving, she was giving herself fully — and Jesus did not rebuke her service. He simply revealed that service without His present speaking becomes toil, while service born from His voice becomes transformation. Scripture shows again and again that God’s work in a person is never measured by outward activity but by inward hearing: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). You can be absolutely for the Lord, you can pour yourself out like Martha, you can endure suffering, pressure, and misunderstanding — but the “one thing needful” is that living word that aligns your heart with His. Transformation is not produced by effort; it is produced by hearing. Paul says the same in Galatians — he did not yield for even five minutes because he had a word from the Lord anchoring him. Without that word, dedication becomes exhaustion; with that word, dedication becomes fruit. So if you feel like you are not “one of the seventy,” it is not a sign of failure or lack of devotion. It simply means the Lord is shaping you like Mary — teaching you to sit, to listen, to receive His instant speaking — because that is the ingredient that makes all your suffering, all your labor, all your faith become transformation that “shall not be taken away.”

Satan is not scared of the majority of Christians, but he is scared of the 70
The seventy in Luke 10 were simply ordinary disciples whom Jesus appointed for a specific mission — not an elite class, not spiritual super‑soldiers, but men who had been with Him, hearing Him, shaped by His word, and therefore ready to be sent. Scripture never tells us their names or backgrounds because the point is not who they were, but what the Lord made them. Their authority came from His sending, not their strength. And when you look at the man who “fell among thieves,” Jesus is showing why some believers become the kind of people He can send out with power: they have been broken, stripped, wounded, humbled, and then healed by His mercy. They know what it is to be “half dead,” and therefore they know how to bind wounds, pour in oil and wine, and lift another onto their own beast. The Lord does allow His people to pass through humiliations, losses, and permanent scars — not because He delights in suffering, but because He forms in them the compassion, endurance, and spiritual authority that cannot be learned any other way. Just as a Navy SEAL is forged through brutal training, the believer who has been rescued by Christ becomes someone Satan fears, not because of personal greatness, but because Christ’s life has been worked into them through suffering, healing, and obedience. The seventy were simply those who had been shaped enough by the Lord’s presence that He could trust them to go out as lambs among wolves — and tread on serpents and scorpions.

Revelation 12 shows Satan cast down when the manchild is caught up, but Scripture never teaches that this event is a “training‑based rapture” where only certain Christians are taken because they obeyed more. What Luke 10 does show is that spiritual authority comes from being sent by Christ, not from human achievement. Jesus says, “Rejoice because your names are written in heaven” — meaning their security and identity rest in God’s grace, not their performance. The parable of the Good Samaritan shows how Christ forms compassion in His people through suffering, but it does not divide believers into those “ready to rule” and those “left behind.” The New Testament consistently teaches that all who are in Christ are sealed, kept, and glorified together (Romans 8:30). The seventy illustrate the joy and responsibility of mission, not a hierarchy of Christians. Their authority over serpents and scorpions is a picture of Christ’s victory shared with all His people, not a special class.

I hear the care you’re taking to think through the feasts, the calendar, the parable of the virgins, and the prophetic patterns — and I want to answer you as a brother in Christ with clarity, love, and Scripture. The key thing a loving Christian must hold onto is this: whenever Scripture speaks clearly, we stand firmly; whenever Scripture is silent, we hold our conclusions with humility. You’re not claiming a date for the rapture, and that’s good — because Jesus Himself said, “Of that day and hour knoweth no man.” What you are doing is noticing patterns in God’s dealings with Israel, the feasts, and the prophetic calendar. Those patterns are real, but they are shadows, not certainties. The feasts do point to Christ — Passover to His death, Firstfruits to His resurrection, Pentecost to the Spirit — and many believers see Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles as pointing to His return. But Scripture never says the rapture must align with Rosh Hashanah, nor that the altar dedication will be the “midnight cry.” Those are interpretations, not revelations. What is certain is that Christ will come suddenly, unexpectedly, and gloriously — and the call of the parable is not to decode the calendar but to be ready, with oil in our lamps, walking in obedience, faith, and love. The danger is not in studying patterns; the danger is in letting patterns become predictions. The comfort is this: every believer sealed by the Spirit is ready to meet the Lord, because readiness is not earned by prophetic accuracy but given by grace.

DOWN ***from**** Jerusalem TO Jericho.

These are key elements without which this parable cannot be rightly exegeted.
