There are two ways to interpret "no one knows the day or hour". In order for that to be true at the time Jesus spoke it one of two things would have to be true. Either you would not have known the day of the year meaning none of the Holy Days of the Lord Jesus were dress rehearsals for the rapture. The other possible explanation is that you would not know the year until the prophecies were fulfilled pointing to the year.

However, there is another word by the Lord telling Sardis that unless they repented and studied the word like they did at first they would not know the hour. This indicates that as the prophecies are fulfilled not only will you get to know the day but even the hour of the Lord's coming. Now the only way you could know the "hour" of the Lord's coming is if you had a very specific timeline in the Bible given from the prophecies and the parables.

For example "in the twinkling of an eye" suggests it is at sundown or Twilight. Then the parable of the ten virgins suggests it would be at twilight on the 9th of Tishrei since that is when the "gate is closed" and the foolish virgins are locked out whereas the wise have just entered in.

There are several verses in the Bible which must all be true.

1. Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

2. Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

and

3. Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

The verse in Amos can only be true if the secret concerning the rapture is hidden in the word of God and revealed later. After Jesus' talk in Matthew 24. In that verse the Lord clearly says that we must watch for the signs, and Revelation 3:3 reinforces that and also says if we don't watch for the signs then we will be caught by surprise.
 
Matthew 9:15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

On the evening prior to Yom Kippur you eat a meal, and then at sunset the fast begins and you fast for the day of Yom Kippur. This is similar to Jesus after the baptism being thrust out to fast for forty days. Forty days indicates a time of trial and testing while fasting for the day of judgment can refer to the "Day of the Lord".

What prompts the fast? The Bridegroom is taken from them. This is similar to what happens to the foolish Virgins when the gate is locked. The Bridegroom is taken from them. And so the rapture is such an event where those who are not taken but are left behind are left behind to fast. So not only is the gate closed on this one day of the year, it is also the moment at which the Bridegroom is taken from those left behind, two different verses both pointing to the exact same moment in time and both pointing to the rapture.

This verse about the Bridegroom being taken from them is in all three synoptic gospels, it is an experience that every believer must go through. This happens when the Lord urges you to take the cross of Christ and you balk.
 
The Season of repentance

The season of repentance is the seven days from end of Feast of Trumpets to the start of Yom Kippur, or day of judgement.

Look at the book of Revelation, the focus is on the season of repentance for both the church and the unbelievers:

Repent

1. Ephesus
2. Pergamon
3. Thyatira (3x)
4. Sardis
5. Laodicea

Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

11:And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
 
Ezekiel 21:1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel, 3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. 4 Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: 5 That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.

This is what happens at Yom Kippur and what happens at the rapture. The books are opened, the righteous go in, the wicked are slain, and those that are neither are left behind.

6 Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes. 7 And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord God.

This is what happens during the tribulation. Think of the tribulation as a press that squeezes repentance out of those who are most resistant to repenting.
 
Ezekiel 21:9 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: 10 It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree. 11 And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer. 12 Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh. 13 Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord God. 14 Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together. and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers. 15 I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter. 16 Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set. 17 I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the Lord have said it.

Yesterday I tried to watch "Threads" a "docudrama" made by the BBC in the 1980s about what would happen if a nuclear bomb were to hit the UK. I only got about two thirds of the way through when I decided I had seen enough. It was too depressing, too dismal.

He points out that the two cities most often compared to Sodom and Gomorrah in the US are NYC and San Francisco. He also pointed out that they were "five cities of the plain" just like NYC is five boroughs and San Francisco is also divided into five regions. Lot flees to Zoar the smallest of the five, and in NYC the smallest borough is Staten Island, which might be a decent place to flee to if NYC were hit with an attack. He makes other comparisons as well.

Ezekiel 23:32 Thus saith the Lord God; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

The religion of Christianity is like two sisters, the Catholic church and the Protestant churches.

33 Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria. 34 Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God. 35 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

Jesus Christ is Lord and head of the church. When the church bows down to the local government, and gets involved in politics, it is spiritual lewdness and whoredoms.

36 The Lord said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations; 37 That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

This is clearly a reference to infanticide and abortion.

38 Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths. 39 For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.
 
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Christians have understood these words to mean that Jesus' ministry began on Yom Kippur in a Jubilee year because that is when you proclaim the year of Jubilee.

I think this interpretation has missed crucial clues. Yes, I think this refers to a jubilee year, and yes I think Jesus is proclaiming the year of Jubilee. However, His baptism was His dedication to the priesthood and that takes place when you turn 30. If we place this event on Yom Kippur then His birthday would have been on the first day of Elul. I believe the seven feasts of the Lord all represent key dates in the Lord's life, His crucifixion, His resurrection, and His ascension are three of those dates. Surely His incarnation must be one of those dates. I also believe that the 9 month period from Hanukkah, the rededication of the temple to Feast of Trumpets, indicates the Lord's conception to His birth. If the birth was "the longest day" and He was born at the end of the two days then He would be eight days old on Yom Kippur and that would be the day of His circumcision, the blood being shed, His flesh being cut off, for the atonement of Israel.
Now if His ministry begins on a Jubilee year, then Feast of Trumpets takes place on Yom Kippur, that would have been the date of His baptism. On Yom Kippur the scapegoat is led out into the wilderness to carry the sins of the people. After the baptism Jesus is led out into the wilderness to fast and be tempted by Satan with the sins of the people.

I believe that is what the Lord means here when He returns, opens to this portion and says "this day this scripture is fulfilled in your ears". He has fulfilled the role of the scapegoat. The scapegoat, just like the goat that is sacrificed, is a scapegoat for one purpose, to atone for the sins of the people. That is what Jesus' ministry was, that is the ministry of reconciliation that Paul refers to, and that is the ministry of Christians. When we are saved and take up our cross and follow the Lord we become scapegoats, thrust out into the wilderness for the atonement of the sins of the people.

What does this have to do with the rapture?

I believe that Jesus ministry gave birth to the New Testament ministry and the raptured saints, just like Elijah who was caught up in the wilderness, gives birth to the ministry of the tribulation saints (Elishas ministry). This ministry is signified by the two witnesses whose ministry is a specific day count. If you count that day count from the first day of Hanukkah it takes you to 2nd Passover. I believe that is the date on which the two witnesses are killed, and when they are raised up for all to see that is when the Jews say Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord. That is when they receive the ministry of the scapegoat to be atoned for their sins. All this takes place one day before the modern state of Israel turns 85.

Interestingly Hanukkah 2026 begins on the sabbath day.

The scapegoat is taken deep into the wilderness, it is further than a sabbath days journey, so the Lord would have returned the day before and the forty days would have ended the day before that. 40 days in the wilderness takes us to October 23rd. However, I highly doubt that is the day of the rapture. Instead we are told in both the Bible and by Ken Peters dream that there is a period of two or three weeks of stunned silence after the rapture. You have to go to Mark to see that everyone is going out to John to be baptized of him in the wilderness, why? I believe this is what happens after the rapture and this would not happen for another two or three weeks.

If we go 21 days earlier we get to October 2, which is Shemini Atzeret. Every year the Jews go through the Torah in their weekly readings and this is the day that this ends. This is the 8th day of Sukkot. It is the official end of the Autumn holiday season, it is truly when "the summer is over" and "the harvest is past".

October 2, 2026 is the 22nd day of the seventh month.

Haggai 2:1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the Lord by the prophet Haggai, saying, 2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying, 3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? 4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts: 5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not. 6 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; 7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts. 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

This is a word to those left behind after the rapture, and especially to the two witnesses. When the rapture takes place the "temple of God" the church will collapse and be in ruins. Think of Samson pushing out the two pillars and the temple to Dagon collapsing. Think of Jesus' word on the temple mount of every stone on another stone falling down. We were told not to build our faith on the other stones, but to dig down to the rock. The pillars are sitting on the rock. Many believers are content to trust the faith and teaching of others and not dig down to the rock for themselves.

Shemini Atzeret is the day the Jews complete the reading of the Torah for the year. The next day is when they begin reading the Torah from the beginning. It is also the last day in the dedication of Solomon's temple.
 
More about the Parable of the ten virgins.

On Sukkot the women would go to the chamber of the women where they could watch the proceedings on the temple mount. The parable is using the Galilean practices as a template for this parable but Jesus is relating it to His coming and His wedding. Sukkot depicts His wedding. In this case the women have gone to the chamber of women, they have fallen asleep because the ceremony is running late, then when they hear the midnight cry they all wake up and trim their lamps. Now in the chamber of women there is a chamber of the oils. They have to go to the receipts, pay for the oil, get a receipt, then go to the chamber of oils, and buy the oil. So even though it is midnight it is still possible to buy oil. They should have done this earlier, hence the term "foolish virgins".

Now in the gospel of John he gives us a very detailed account of this holy feast.

First, Jesus goes up to the feast in secret. Jesus said "no one knows the day or the hour" of His coming, He also likened it to a thief in the night. Here we see Jesus coming to this feast, at night, in secret, just as a thief in the night.

Second, Jesus begins teaching in the middle of the feast

John 7:14 When the festival was already half over, Jesus went up into the temple complex and began to teach. 15 Then the Jews were amazed and said, “How does He know the Scriptures, since He hasn’t been trained?”

Think about that, this is what people have been saying for the last few years. Who are you to teach, you haven't been trained.

John 7:16 Jesus answered them, “My teaching isn’t Mine but is from the One who sent Me. 17 If anyone wants to do His will, he will understand whether the teaching is from God or if I am speaking on My own.

We are simply speaking the word of God, we didn't come up with this, it is in the Bible.

18 The one who speaks for himself seeks his own glory. But He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

This is the second response, the accusation that you are a false prophet, no one knows the day or the hour becomes stop looking at prophesies, ignore them, anyone who is claiming the prophecies of the Lord's second coming are being fulfilled is a false prophet. The question is, are they seeking their own glory or are they seeking the glory of the one who sent them?

19 Didn’t Moses give you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law! Why do you want to kill Me?”

This is the third step, look at the incredible rage going on from people who are clearly unstable. A hundred women standing outside the court where a woman who killed her three children is being tried and they are cheering her. A man on an airplane appears demon possessed as he attacks Jonathan Cahn for publishing "The Altar of Pergamon". During Covid I was forced to leave my job, my wife was forced to leave her job, and we were forced to sell the house because we didn't want to take an experimental vaccine for Covid which I had already had and recovered from.

20 “You have a demon!” the crowd responded. “Who wants to kill You?” 21 “I did one work, and you are all amazed,” Jesus answered. 22 “Consider this: Moses has given you circumcision—not that it comes from Moses but from the fathers—and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. 23 If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses won’t be broken, are you angry at Me because I made a man entirely well on the Sabbath? 24 Stop judging according to outward appearances; rather judge according to righteous judgment.”

This refers to a man who was born blind that Jesus healed on the sabbath. They wanted to kill Him for violating the sabbath. Think of the Sabbath as the third rail, something you just couldn't touch. Jesus could touch it because He was the Lord of the sabbath. Well at the end of the age the "third rail" is prophecies about the Lord's second coming. No one will state that you are not permitted to talk about these, but from my experience that is the way they act. It is an unwritten rule that everyone obeys mindlessly.

25 Some of the people of Jerusalem were saying, “Isn’t this the man they want to kill? 26 Yet, look! He’s speaking publicly and they’re saying nothing to Him. Can it be true that the authorities know He is the Messiah? 27 But we know where this man is from. When the Messiah comes, nobody will know where He is from.” 28 As He was teaching in the temple complex, Jesus cried out, “You know Me and you know where I am from. Yet I have not come on My own, but the One who sent Me is true. You don’t know Him; 29 I know Him because I am from Him, and He sent Me.” 30 Then they tried to seize Him. Yet no one laid a hand on Him because His hour had not yet come. 31 However, many from the crowd believed in Him and said, “When the Messiah comes, He won’t perform more signs than this man has done, will He?”

Notice this expression "his hour had not yet come". This is taking place during Sukkot and "the hour has not yet come". What did they want to do? They wanted to seize Him. That is what is going to happen to Christians who are left behind during the tribulation. Already we can see the preparations are being made, the flock cameras, the new laws, embracing the Noahide laws which will make preaching Jesus illegal, punishable by death. This is an accurate description of where we are right now.

32 The Pharisees heard the crowd muttering these things about Him, so the chief priests and the Pharisees sent temple police to arrest Him. 33 Then Jesus said, “I am only with you for a short time. Then I’m going to the One who sent Me. 34 You will look for Me, but you will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come.”

This is a clear reference to the rapture. At the end of the age the saints will be preaching and once they are raptured, those that are listening will not be able to come.

35 Then the Jews said to one another, “Where does He intend to go so we won’t find Him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, does He? 36 What is this remark He made: ‘You will look for Me, and you will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come’?”
 
More about the Parable of the ten virgins (part 2)

John 7:37 On the last and most important day of the festival, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, he should come to Me and drink! 38 The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.” 39 He said this about the Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus were going to receive the Spirit, for the Spirit had not yet been received because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Clearly the last day of Sukkot is not the day of the rapture. The rapture is the day that those who are raptured are glorified, given new bodies.

After this there is a debate some thinking this is the Christ, others saying it isn't. This debate is among the people, the temple police and the pharisees.

But the very next day is the 8th day, it is Simchi Atzeret, it is the day in Haggai tells the people to be strong to build the temple and it is the day that concluded the dedication of Solomon's temple. The rapture is two sided. On one hand those that are raptured are dedicated to the service of the Temple, it is like a graduation ceremony, meanwhile those that failed and are not graduating are encouraged to build up the ruins of their studies and they too will be able to stand in glory with the Lord.

John 8 begins with the Pharisees bringing a woman caught in adultery to the Lord. These are the left behind saints. These are the ones that are left as in "divorced". This is like a new beginning for those that are left behind, it starts with the forgiveness of their sins. It then follows that Jesus is the Light of the world. Then the Lord tells them if they do not believe in Jesus, they will die in their sins. These are the elementary teachings, Jesus is starting all over, just like you would in summer school.

Think of school when you took final exams. In NYC they have "Regents week", a week of final exams statewide. In the same way, right after Rosh Hashanah you have seven days of repentance called the days of awe. Once you complete your exams the teachers collect them and grade them. That is Yom Kippur. After this grades are posted, people who are going to graduate are notified so their parents can come the ceremony, people who aren't are also notified that they will be going to summer school. Then you have the graduation ceremony. Once you graduate you leave school, the people at the school do not see you anymore. Meanwhile those that are not graduating are like the woman caught in adultery. They aren't condemned, rather they are going to summer school to get a second chance.
 
OK, I am going to share this since I shared her previous video about this same topic. This issue of different calendars has come up repeatedly over the years. We have 4 calendars that are referenced repeatedly: Gregorian, Hebrew, Enoch and Julian.

This is how I understand it.

1. The dates have to line up with key dates on the Hebrew calendar because the 70th week is definitely going to be speaking to the Jews as well as the Christians.

2. I see Enoch calendar as being similar to the servants calendar. Think about the TV show Downtown Abbey, the Earl and his family would be on one calendar while the servants would be on another. For example, if there is a wedding there is a whole lot that the servants have to do and a whole lot that the Earl and his family had to do and deadlines for servants were very different from deadlines for the Earl's family.

3. We are currently using the Gregorian calendar but the Julian Calendar was what was being used at the time of Jesus at the start of the church age. Why all the confusion? I believe it is because one day can have several meanings.

So then, there is a 13 day difference from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian. Based on that October 3rd (a key date in these links from Vicky Goforth Parnell) would equal Yom Kippur on Julian Calendar while on Gregorian calendar it is Shemini Atzeret.

What that means is from one perspective back at the start of the church age Oct 3rd 2026 is Judgment day, but from our perspective at the end of the church age it represents the completion of the year, the summer is over, the harvest is past. Meanwhile Enoch calendar tells you that it is the day that the angels assist in the rapture.
