The way I see it, you either believe in survival of the fittest (evolution) or you search for the one true God. A world with no God, a world where we are God of our own lives relies upon our own "goodness" to figure what is and isn't acceptable but the trouble with this is that without God our hearts are hard. Already it is seen as acceptable to kill an unborn child in the name of convenience - defenceless and unable to fight for it's own existence. Already there are calls to euthanise the terminally ill. Where is it all going to end? Do we then turn to killing bed blockers? (the tactless term used for the elderly not well enough to care for themselves and therefore leave hospital upon recovery) the disabled? Those who are past retirement age but due to the government's financial ineptness having squandered the retirement pot who are now seen as a burden to the tax-payer? Will the poor in society be seen as worthless and their lives not worth saving? Would we then deny them treatment? This is where the human heart is leading us and it's gathering pace at an alarming rate as the world rejects God. Without Him there is no one to look to for direction, no higher authority.
If we are listening to our own hearts then we will consider; if there is no God then there is no right or wrong - surely? Who is there to tell us? Where do our laws originate? The animal kingdom is what's left and that is survival of the fittest.
