Welcome to my page! In this post, I will talk about how even though this world can make us sin even more with ever-changing technology and materialism, Christians should be taking advantage of the technology and materialism by using them to further God's kingdom more efficiently. Without further adieu, let's get into the post.
By taking a glance at the world, I believe that every single person would correctly assume that our world is never going to stop changing. Here and there, more innovations are being produced by the brains of men. However, along with new inventions comes new ways for Satan to distract God's people from their duties of evangelism and glorifying His name. I thank God that many electronic devices have Bible apps and Internet access to the Bible available on them so that we may intake of God's awesome Word wherever we are. I am glad that social media exists because through it, I along with you can share the testimones of God through them and impact lives greatly through simple verses or devotions uploaded to certain social media. These are just a few of the ways we born-again Christians can spread the gospel of Christ to every nation, tribe, and tongue.
When we are trying to spread the gospel of Christ to others through the new advances of our society, Satan will be at nonstop to distract you with these items and will make them transform into idols if you are not careful in placing God above the world. 1 John 2:15 says, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." I understand that it is hard to always follow God in a world that is fighting fiercely for your attention. But we have no excuse to give for not following God with all our hearts because of the Spirit's power within us. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we have been given the ultimate privelge of happening a personal Guide with us who will help us follow God wherever we go: the Holy Spirit. When everything else fails you, fall on the Spirit. Viewers, He is God Almighty. Who else would you want to trust than the ominpotent and omniscient Holy Spirit?!
In conclusion, don't let tools that you can evangelize with sit and collect dust. Use them to the fullest degree! One day, EVERY single person will have to give an account as to what they did in this life. Do you really want to say in front of the almighty Judge that you did not use the tools He gave you because of some foolish excuse? The time is now to be spreading the gospel in any shape or form. Even though all of hell will be against us, the God of angel armies will be by our side. Who can stand against Him? Well, that's all I have for this post. If you have questions, comments, post suggestions, prayer requests, or anything else, post it and I will reply to you appropriately. Have a blessed day, take advantages of the tools God has given you to glorify His name with, and may the Lord bless you greatly! Goodbye!
