I wish people didn't use the blog for their ongoing sermons - one right after another.

How is it taking it 'hostage'? It doesn't prevent others from blogging. It's kind of what blogging is meant for. A space for people to write out their thoughts or whatever else they want. Whether a person does one a day or ten a day it has no affect on anyone else or their ability to use the blogs.
Granted, it does seem a waste of the bloggers time as likely few are ever going to take the time to read all of them, if anyone ever does. But it's their time and really no one else is affected. So i'm not understanding the issue.

Why I'm always seeing this chicken avatar everywhere? lol. I'm not following you, ok? J/K Ugly.

Joidevivre, that 'hostage' word caught my attention. I held back to post my message and would like to know why you used that term?

I agreed that this is a space for people to write out their thoughts or whatever else they want.

I agreed that is your only wish and I understand you're only expressing your thought about it as well.

I don't agree if the blogger is abusing his rights to blog. And harming the reputation of other people.

My only wish is not to use this blog like an E-book. Please write somewhere else. A waste of time to read an E-novel and especially for us Christians, our schedule is full of talking than reading. For me, what is effective is more time in acting than reading. Who knows maybe there are lots of us have more severe reading difficulties.

I probably should not have used the word "hostage". It popped into my mind when I see people who every 5 minutes put a video in an ongoing sermon. Is that an E-book? It is like they are taking it over for their links, etc. And it was just my wish.

Both of you are right - I do get a little "poetic" with my descriptions of things.

Matthew 6:22 NIV
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[c] your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy,[d] your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

My question would be from your point of view what is wrong with sermons that you have found them to be an offense to you?
