Let My Soul Glory In Him,
In supplication and prayer the psalmist glorifies
God. All that we have and all that ever will have
comes from God. The more we praise and give
Him glory, the stronger our faith. We come to a
point where all that we do is guided by His will
and not our own. We come to Him and ask Lord
what do you want of me today. Strangely, the
more we give to Him the more we get back and
while that is not why we do give Him praise, it is
what happens. He gives light to our day, He is
the one that gives us breath and places the Spirit
within our hearts. That is how we have victory
over sin. Our glory doesn't come the good that we
have done but rather the temptations we have
conquered in our daily life. It is after that, that our
good seems to come joyfully and directly from the
heart.
