And you wonder why you have been unsuccessful in relationships?
You don't know me or the circumstances of my dating. I'll take the words of my friends who watched and talked to me.....John, you're doing everything you can, it just hasn't happened......John, I have never seen anyone put so much into dating and come up with nothing.....John, you're single but it's not for lack of trying.

Believers marrying unbelievers do not produce giants. It is also clear from the verses, the sons of GOD here are NOT men. They are a different group.
Yeah, and the text does not actually say what you believe.

It just says in those (same) days were men of renown, heroes.

But God says nothing about them specifically there. Just that “My Spirit will not contend
with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

And also, The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth,
and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The
Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.

Nada about angels, or angel babies being the result of relations with women, or those supposed offspring being Nephilim.

That is all read in. Also: giants exist to this day. Are angels still having intercourse with humans???

why would God decide to bring the flood on the earth (Genesis 6:5-7) when God had never forbidden powerful human males or descendants of Seth to marry ordinary human females or descendants of Cain? The oncoming judgment of Genesis 6:5-7 is linked to what took place in Genesis 6:1-4. Only the obscene, perverse marriage of fallen angels with human females would seem to justify such a harsh judgment.

A fair point. My evaluation is based solely on what you've shared on the site. But it's been my experience that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks...or fingers type.

Giants exist to this day. Angels are not procreating with women to produce them
any more than they did in Noah's day. That is simply what you choose to believe.

I already answered this question. Angels have NOTHING to do with it, I gave you the verses and you ignore them!!! The verses said absolutely nothing about angels at all. It was the wicked evil men God regretted creating, that prompted Him to flood the world.

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race
had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the
thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The
Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth,

Can you see it now? I made it larger so you might not overlook it yet again.

You missed this part....why would God decide to bring the flood on the earth (Genesis 6:5-7) when God had never forbidden powerful human males or descendants of Seth to marry ordinary human females or descendants of Cain?

I did answer that. Was murder forbidden when Cain murdered Abel?

The law came though Moses. That does not mean men were not sinful/evil/wicked before then.

You choose to believe what you want then lament that people put their opinions
over what Scripture says when you do the very same thing again and again.

God's desire for believers not to be unequally yoked with non-believers is explicitly stated multiple times.

God gives the answer...they did evil continually...why don't you just accept what God has written?

again you ignored my post. Sex is GOD's creation and he takes joy in that in the Song of Solomon. I expect the sex act of being one flesh will be restored in heaven.

Again you lie. I did not ignore your post. I answered it but you do not like the answer.

You also IGNORED my question, and refuse to deal with the Scripture I gave.

Was murder commanded against when Cain killed Abel? No, it wasn't, was it?

But still Cain was punished.

You changed the subject. The question was why not believe the reason God gave for destroying all flesh...they did evil continually?

They were destroyed for all the evil they were doing. GOD never told the angels not to take wives of the humans.

It's a moot point. They had left their first estate. God didn't have to tell them. It was not part of the created order. Their place in creation, in regard to humans, was to be ministering spirits. Anything outside of that would have been understood to go against the will of God.

You know this, how exactly? Scripture does not say. Again you prefer some fantasy version you have cooked up.

We ARE told, however, in very explicit terms, that kind reproduces after kind.

Who thinks angels and humans are of the same kind? Peculiar indeed.

Nothing in Scripture hints that angels could become as men aside from the express will of God, either.

Benson Commentary
Jude 1:6. And the angels which kept not their first estate — Or, as the clause may be rendered, their first dignity, or principality, (see on 2 Peter 2:4,) namely, the dignity or principality assigned them; but left their own habitation — Properly their own by the free gift of God. The apostle’s manner of speaking insinuates that they attempted to raise themselves to a higher station than that which God had allotted to them; consequently, that the sin for which they were and are to be punished, was pride and rebellion.

So everyone in heaven is neutered?
