Yes there are benefits spiritually within a covenant marriage but there are also spiritual dangers outside that covenantal marriage. Paul warns us of the spiritual danger’s.
“Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two will become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.”
1 Corinthians 6:15-18 ESV
Alluding to ungodly soul ties which was a spiritual bond meant for a covenant marriage not outside marriage. These spiritual bonds were meant to be a good thing. But if done in an ungodly manner Satan uses it and twists it. Seen it happen, I’ve experienced it even.
Paul was talking about having sex with a prostitute. At that time it involved idol worship.

Prostitution still is involving idol worship. Worship of the female body, the woman’s body becomes the idol at which one worships over obedience to a loving and holy God. Its the same old Adam picking Eve over God story all over again. We make idols today from anything and everything in our culture not just wood or stone statues anymore but it’s pretty much anything that is being raised higher than importance to God alone
Depends on how you define the word marriage.

All single women or men who aren’t married and are engaging in sexual immorality or anything that falls under porneia are by defacto prostituting their body and soul which belong to God. They are married to God till God releases them into the marriage he intends for them.

Keep in mind it was the Sadducees who brought this question to Jesus (the Sadducees didn’t even believe in the resurrection) ( they only believed in the first 5 books of the OT. They brought this ridiculous hypocritical situation to Jesus in an effort to prove how ridiculous the resurrection sounded. Let’s first keep that as the context. The Sadducees were arguing something they didn’t even believe possible.
Also keep in mind Jesus said
“And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the age to come eternal life.””
