The process of losing people we love is never easy nor nice.Yet is a part of life that is inevitable, people change, people move, people pass away. But the process regardless how painful it might be, allow us to learn a lot about ourselves. The pain and loneliness creates an atmosphere that highlights both our weaknesses and our strengths. Most importantly it's a remainder that only God's love is eternal and is the only true love that can fulfill our lives.

While in the process of the loss, don't give up and don't give in. Just make sure you focus your eyes on God and seek Him wholeheartedly. Ask God to heal your heart, to give you wisdom for your decisions and grace for facing the process with a learning attitude. Let go of the past and remind your soul to trust that God is control and He will guide you to a better place.

Psalm 34:18 - TheLORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.

beautiful reflection sis... Not a moment of our lives is lost in our Fathers sight, he turns everything for good! you captured that here. love ya!

We never let go of the past when we lose somebody. Those moments with that person built your character, reinforced that you were loved, rained smiles down on you, enlarged your heart, exhorted you when you needed it, and was in your life for a purpose and a season.

The past can be treasured as much as the new pages of each day that God will write in your life. Even the difficult moments with that person taught you many things about what it means to endure, hope for the best, keep no record of wrongs, experience the sacrifices of long suffering, and most of all gave you opportunities to practice forgiveness.

I just lost my husband 3 weeks ago after over 50 years together.

Thank you so much for your contribution and I am so sorry to hear of your husband passing away. Is beautiful tho that you were together for such long time, what an amazing testimony of enduring love.
Many different things inspired me to write this little thoughts. This past weeks I seen many people struggle with different types of loss of love ones (death, divorce, betrayal, broken friendship, first broken hearts). I guess in a sense when I made the expression let go I was thinking about certain experiences that cause pain and sometimes people hold on to those circumstances and don't allow themselves to move from that place of hurt. Holding on to pain is not a good thing, is important we recognize it but more so important that we hand it over to God and allow Him to heal us and guide us.
