My first thought is a blow to the head. But I'm American and as such I'm inclined toward extreme solutions.

Do we have to get somebody to send you an anesthetic?

Oh, no thanks. I'll be okay, seriously.......seriously. I'll be okay.

I just need to keep my head straight and stare at the screen.

Reading this thread, should do the trick.

He is big up here....I live a couple hours from him...I haven't read any of his books....but most read his books.

I've only read perhaps five of his books so far, but I loved The Stand. It's one of my absolute favourites of any type of fiction.

Hi Ann. Welcome to CC, I pray that you enjoy your stay! We have a few Norwegians here. Is English taught in your schools or did you learn it since leaving? Also, what's the Christian scene like in Norway? God bless, my sister.

Okay, I better shut-up now. Before I get into trouble. Not sure what's gotten into me.

I'm half-way through it now. Absolutely. Positively. Fantastic.

I mean I thought The Shining was great, but The Stand is in a league of its own.

I sincerely hope too that you've traveled some in the States, because knowing all the regions mentioned in the book merely adds to the experience. Visualizing the events is so easy and powerful.

Awesome! Yes, the book is so rich and powerful. No, I haven't been anywhere in the States. I suppose I should visit sometime. There are a few things (and people) I want to see there. Cheers, my brother. :)

Like I said, I'm not even finished and I'm impressed. I almost don't care how it ends. Almost.

Cheers indeed! If you ever do, look me up. I'm the good version of Randal Flagg, I've roamed all over this place and can tell you where to go and where not to go.

I've always wanted to see your country too. I've heard mostly good things from buddies who have traveled (and live) there.

Hi Tintin! *waves*

Thank you. Honestly feeling blessed and honor.

I personally, wasn't taught English in school. :( But maybe some have.

I taught English by myself really. Maybe this explains why I get into "debates" with people. (Shall remain nameless).

Christian scene is a mix bag :( The past news about Breivik - the person involved in the Norway massacre..as a 'Christian Fundamentalist' to 'Christian Right Wing Extremist' didn't help.

God bless you too, brother :)

Hi Ann.

You're most welcome.
You weren't taught English in school? Interesting. So you taught yourself English? That's impressive. It's a surprisingly difficult language, a weird hybrid of many different cultures - French, Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Latin and a whole host of different countries.
Yes, I hear you about the Christian scene in Norway. It's not always good news, but Jesus is always good news. And I'm sure there are many good things going on in God's name there. Keep living for the King of Kings. :)

God bless you, my sister.

Thank you, my brother. A good version of Randal Flagg? Haha! Awesome. Yes, Australia is pretty fantastic. We have a lot of variety here. Cheers.

Oh, no. No need to apologies. You didn't do anything wrong.

I tend to go into hyper drive and talk/think to much when I drink a crazy amount of coffee.

When I saw that Tintin had just posted, I thought that he had revealed his crush.

Oh well... :p
