some of my favorite recurring comedy bits are jimmy fallon's "thank you note" segments. i wanted to post an example here, but unfortunately, i couldn't find one where all of the notes were clean enough for posting in this forum.

so here is a place to say thank you for all of the things that have made you a better person, improved your life, entertained you, or whatever else you are thankful for.

thanks to misty for reminding me that i wanted to do this!
 
dear various multi-level marketing companies,

thank you for your tenacious and highly effective marketing and sales strategies. the relentless techniques employed by your sales people have helped me to overcome my ability to finally say no to people who ask me to help, volunteer, or take on projects that i don't want to do.

the unwavering stepford sales style of rather persistent representatives who've asked me to host parties, "turn in" my friends, and buy overpriced merchandise for things i usually don't need finally helped me to put in to practice what two readings of boundaries couldn't.

p.s. some of your peoples' talent is totally wasted selling gadgets. perhaps your should open a new division and outsource hostage negotiation for the local police departments.
