I just wanted to give God praise right now. I haven't seen my oldest brother and his family for the last three years. It's been a really difficult year for me, getting diagnosed and going through chemo treatments. I've really missed them and I've spoken to God about it many times. A few weeks ago my brother informed my parents and I that we're going to spend Christmas with him and his family. Even better, my other two brothers will also be there with their significant others. This will be the first time in over ten years that we're all together for Christmas.

Also, it was my Dad's birthday yesterday. Today is his birthday braai (bbq) and my brother and his family surprised us with a visit.

God is so faithful and I'm so very thankful. He heard my heart's cry and gave me the best Christmas present ever.
 
My guess is Phia, that God loves His praises coming from you. I love your courage and strength and love of family. My prayers continue for your sweet soul that God continues to enjoy your praises for many Christmas's to come. I hope this Christmas is all you hope.
 
It is always beautiful to see how the afflictions of our flesh do not affect our relationship with Our Lord because the world tends to see it as something infinite. Except its not and thats why God is awesome and beautiful and gracious. :) You have a beautiful testimony Phia God bless you have a good Christmas.
