COP28 ends on the 7th of December, at that time (though it might be the 12th of December) I think King Charles is scheduled to give closing remarks and I suspect that is when he will declare "peace and security". I am watching this.

Also, I saw a number of strikes by the IDF on Damascus. They are obliterating Hamas in Gaza, and decisively defeating Hezbollah in Lebanon, which they are cutting off from Syria. This means that Iran will be forced to focus their attack on Israel from Damascus. I suspect that Damascus becoming a ruinous heap is the match that lights the fuse resulting in "sudden destruction".

I also expect that the destruction of Damascus will lead to protests worldwide reminding us of the days of Lot and the mob outside his house. I am watching these protests as well.

I know that the conference was delayed, but has been concluded. I am not aware of King Charles concluding remarks, only that he was scheduled to give them. The people who watch and report on this carefully have not yet put out a post.

There have been numerous claims of "peace and security" both with COP28 and concerning the war in Israel.

Wrong about what? COP28 has confirmed a 7 year covenant, they are using the term covenant, not me, and it goes into effect for the entire world Dec 31, 2023.
 
As I understand it, COP28 s about climate change.
Now just how does one believe this has anything to do with end time events?

There are 17 development goals. They talk about consuming less gasoline (as in 0), less meat (as in 0, forbidding to eat meat), 15 minute cities (by that they mean you can walk from one side to the other in 15 minutes), etc. This is the Paris accords which they are calling a covenant. The problem with the Paris accords is no one kept them, so now they need to strengthen the accords and the way they are going to do that is with one world digital currency so they can identify every purchase each person makes and therefore limit how much gas, meat, etc. they can buy. So by "confirming the covenant with the many" they are referring to the mark of the beast controlling what you can buy or sell.

Also, this is all about pantheism and the worship of mother nature. At the same time BRICS (ten nations referring to the ten horns) are forming a currency to replace the US dollar as the world's currency, and the Abrahamic house is creating one world religion that unites Catholicism, Islam, and Judaism. Meanwhile the UN is talking about Peace and security with their "peace plan" for Israel.

One error he makes is in referring to petroleum as "fossil fuel". The latest research indicates it is not fossil fuel, but rather is methane hydrates at the bottom of the ocean floor being processed as part of the plate tectonics moving ocean crusts beneath mountains.
 
I know everyone has been taught that petroleum is fossil fuel from dinosaurs. That is patently false. But the idea is that perhaps it is from ancient algae, though that also did not hold up to rigorous investigation.

Now we realize at the bottom of the ocean we have methane hydrates, they can very easily be converted to petroleum. As a result of plate tectonics the ocean floor is moving like a conveyor belt beneath the continents, then the methane hydrates get cooked into petroleum which we can mine. So it isn't a "fossil fuel".
 

There is a very good evidence that in Daniel 7 the final head of the seven that was and will be is referring to an Islamic Caliphate.

You can see here in this interchange how Biden's policies related to COP28 is helping the Islamic caliphate rise. The US and the EU are trying to ban petroleum, but by so doing they are creating a shortage causing the price to go up and the amount that countries like Iran can sell giving them tens of billions of dollars more in revenue than just a few years ago.

lol, that's a bummer I've got five gas weed eaters,(ones got a hedge attachment), in my garage that I was trying to get rid of. I overhauled the carburetors and got them all running last year but they probably already need new carbs again(fuel eats the gaskets and fuel lines up). I got one of the newer cordless ones and I'll never pull,and pull and pull on one again it's like horse and buggy verses the horseless carriage the one has just overtaken the other.

Before leaving our house I used some electric tools, battery is so much better than having a cord, or even gas powered. But I noticed all the contractors use gas powered ones, I guess a charge wouldn't last for an 8 hour work day.

I remembered seeing Damascus bombed and parts of it in ruins a few years back now maybe more . I can't remember, who did it, something sticks out in my memory that Isreal may have bombed it to maybe within the last decade or so.

But I just wondered how much of a ruins does it have to be, before that prophecy I's fulfilled
 
The Day of the Lord

There is a very important concept we all need to understand.

When we look at all the various prophecies like Stan has with prophecy club and we try and put them all together and talk about this is first and then this and then this, we need to understand this concept.

In Geology this is called the "principle of cross cutting relationships" but it definitely applies to Biblical prophecy.

The theory says if I cut a piece of paper with a scissor, and then cut the paper again, cutting through what was previously cut I can determine the relative order of the cuts. Any cut that is cut by another cut must have happened first.

So let's apply this to the prophecies. We can argue that a famine would take place after Noah's flood because at the time they were "eating and drinking". Likewise if Israel is attacked and the US sends armies to defend them, then we can argue that takes place before Armageddon because at Armageddon all the nations fight against Israel.

So we can use common sense to put a number of different prophecies in order of occurrence. The US is the great babylon and she will be destroyed in one hour, that would come after sending troops to Israel but before Armageddon. It would also take place prior to the famine, therefore the famine is after we send troops to help Israel fight.

But here is the second point. We can see things like this and think it will take a decade, or some other reasonable number of years. So now consider a hammer hitting a pane of glass lying on a granite countertop. It smashes and cracks into a thousand pieces with cracks cutting each other. One massive event can cause catastrophic damage in what might look like decades but in reality is one hour.

A massive earthquake that splits the US into three pieces and is the result of a meteor and large tsunami hitting the east coast would be so devastating to the US you would get the collapse of the US dollar and worldwide famine in an instant. Instantly this worldwide Islamic Caliphate working with Russia would become the dominant military power. Europe would immediately be subject to them. One really great earthquake can change everything in an instant. You can look at all the changes and think it takes ten years but in reality it takes one hour.

The term "the day of the Lord" refers to a seven year period of judgment, but perhaps it also refers to one really "great and awesome day" that propels us into this seven year period. Imagine that at the same "day" as this earthquake we also have the rapture! This would not just impact one world government and geopolitical alignment, it would also cause the antichrist to be revealed, the chaos could create a desperate need for the mark of the beast to bring order and stability and to justify draconian measures. The rapture will hit this world like that hammer hitting the pane of glass.
