The Action bible.... Any good??

Never heard of it …but the title is spot on for all Bibles …. Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith → (believing) without works → (action) is dead also.
The comparison God makes... to the body without the spirit being dead…. So is believing… without action dead (useless or fruitless). If you want to appropriate the promises of God (turn your Bible into an action Bible) act as if the promises you claim are already a reality and walk in that reality …. that is the definition of believing.
It’s not a name it claim it…. It’s a name it… and knowing with confidence that it’s a reality… because God is the prime mover. And His promises in the Word (or by revelation) are true… He will bring them to pass when we believe according to His Word by walking in the believing action.

We got one for our kids as they are starting to really get into comics, and a lot of current popular children's books are starting to be turned into graphic novels.
We got it at Hobby Lobby, and it was shrink wrapped, so I couldn't look through it but when I opened it at home it was a neat look through.
I haven't gone through it well enough yet to know about or comment on doctrinal soundness (it got misplaced shortly after bringing it home, so now I have to find it) but I will agree with what was mentioned in the above video:
some of the graphics in it are not suitable for very young children.
a homeschooling resource site we shop from has it listed as suitable for grades 5-10
It presents over 230 Bible stories in graphic novel form
I am referencing to the same edition from above video.
I just looked into it and found there is one by the same person/company called the Action Storybook Bible which is geared for younger readers (prek-3 rd grade) it features only 15 stories.
You can find both (and more) by clicking here. (I linked to the Action Storybook Bible, once there you can search for the other- and no, this is not a 'you click and shop - I get $$.' plug/link)
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe both are based on the ESV version of the Bible.
And of course, neither is a 100% replacement for an actual Bible.
oh, and for those who are curious/interested about the pictures:
the illustrator for both ( Sergio Cariello) has done work for Marvel, and DC comics (and other companies)
