The Affect of Sin on the Sinner

Romans 3:23

for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God

Ps 51:5

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity;
And in sin did my mother conceive me.

Isaiah 57:20,21

But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it cannot rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.

Isaiah 64:6

For we are all become as one that is unclean, and all our righteousnesses are as a polluted garment: and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Jeremiah 17:9

The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?

Wherefore, as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin; and so death passed unto all men, for that all sinned:

Galatians 3:22

But the scripture shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them who believe.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

King David explain it affect in a psalms also

Psalm 32

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

I think the effect that sin has will cause all bad consequences and a person will be mindful of carnal things when they should realize that the change took place in the spirit and they are new and should transform their mind,and not conform to this world.
Read and believe the bible.
