That abomination of desolation seems to be the Roman army in ground of Jerusalem, in year 70 A.D, and it seem that, this was the active time of the antichrit's or false people's, who claim that they are the Christ.

But sure, today someone may claim to be Christ, but I believe that the main time was back then. This waiting of the Antichrist causes, that people's do not want to see that the big delusion is already here right now.

This whole one big Antichrist doctrine seems to come by early Catholic false teachers like so-called st. Jerome (347-420) which was a Catholic Bible translator, who also made up some false end time prophesy, not by lead of the Spirit, but knowledge of the Scriptures, and human wisdom.

Daniel 8 is about Creek empire coming on Persia, and the last horn is, what you probably mean?

The last horn is a king, which have been wold now probably 2000 year, and in the influence of that king, the Jerusalem was destroyed in year 70 A.D.

11. Yea, it magnified itself, even to the prince of the host; and it took away from him the continual burnt-offering, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. (Daniel 8:11)

And the time of that king is still here, and this is not the Antichrist if you meant that?

There is not such thing than the Antichrist, but many antichrist's there have been, false people's who have claim, that they are the Christ, but this Daniel 8 is not about situation like that.

The A.O.D. is not what took place in 70 AD.

The part in the prophecy from Daniel that seems to always get overlooked is this;

Daniel 9:27 - "And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one that maketh desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out upon the desolate."

What Daniel was referring to as the A.O.D. was not the surrounding of Jerusalem by armies, but by the profaning the temple by setting up an idol in the temple. What is the A.O.D. going to be exactly?

The Holy Spirit reveals this to us through the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians;

2 Thessalonians 2:4
He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God's sanctuary, publicizing that he himself is God.

The man of sin standing in the temple claiming to be God is the A.O.D. that was spoken by Daniel, the comparison is how a false deity was placed in the temple in his days and will like wise be done again in the future. This was not fulfilled in 70 AD as the Emperor Titus did not want the temple destroyed, but his troops did not follow that order and destroyed it any way. No idol was set up in the temple and Titus never set foot in it and did not claim to be God in it. Also Titus did not confirm a covenant/treaty with anybody and then break it during this event, so nothing of the 70 AD event fulfills this prophecy of the A.O.D.

The only part of prophecy that the 70 AD event fulfills is this part in Daniel;

We now stand in those last days and with the writings of 2 Thessalonians 2 and Revelation being available, Daniels prophecies are being opened to the spiritually minded to know what was being mentioned. You like others have been to influenced by the reformation teaching placing the A.O.D. on the Catholic church, but this is flawed because they base their understanding on a Christian gentile believer perspective and not what the bible says, or the Jewish perspective. The bible says we the believers are the temple of God which is true, but we do not make animal sacrifices that the man of sin will cause to cease. So the temple referred to as being defiled/profaned can not be the body of Christ made up of believers in Him.

The whole subject of the end times is complex and needs careful Bible based study. The book of Revelation alone has over 200 references based on the Old Testament. There seems to be a huge error going around about when Satan, the Prince that was forecast to come. As was also prophesied in Daniel, and when antichrist spirit was to come, and when the abomination that causes desolation (destruction of temple and holy city) was to be fulfilled.

This is the prophecy of the Prince, or Satan coming which was also confirmed by Jesus. Jesus said in Luke 10:18“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” Jesus also said the Prince of this world is judged in John 16:11“Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”

And again in John 14:30“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” And so again when is Satan judged, cast out, and when does hecome? John 12:31“Now is thejudgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.”

And when Jesus said now, he meant now! Not some 1,982 years or so later. Alright, we have scriptural proof to confirm this, and Jesus’ own testimony to confirm this, and now the apostles testimony of the coming of antichrist spirit.

1 John 2:18 “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”

There it is, already in place ready to devour the child Jesus as soon as it was born. How much clearer can that be?

Again, scriptures prove your doctrine false Ken. Your preaching the Prince of this world has not come yet, which is lies. You preach Antichrist is a single individual man yet to come in the future, which is lies. You preach a future Temple has to be rebuilt for the abomination of desolation to happen, which is lies, because it has already happened in 70 a.d.

What Temple was Jesus talking about being destroyed to His disciples in scripture? The one they were actually looking at in their day, or some future imaginary Temple conjured up by the minds of carnally minded men, for an imaginary man figure called Antichrist to sit in?

Well lets look at the scriptures and Jesus' words to the apostles concerning what Temple they are talking about that shall be destroyed fulfilling the abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel shall we?

But sure, today someone may claim to be Christ, but I believe that the main time was back then. This waiting of the Antichrist causes, that people's do not want to see that the big delusion is already here right now.

This whole one big Antichrist doctrine seems to come by early Catholic false teachers like so-called st. Jerome (347-420) which was a Catholic Bible translator, who also made up some false end time prophesy, not by lead of the Spirit, but knowledge of the Scriptures, and human wisdom.

My eyes are fixed on the glory of the Lord. I'm not wasting time waiting on His enemies.

As a partial preterist I can agree with both these posts. The big events took place in AD70 and are thus since long fulfilled. The mayor event to come is the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that will remain the focus of all believers, come what may be of tribulations and evil rulers. The waiting for a big antichrist is a sidetrack which leads people astray and losing focus.

The problem what we face today is, that the people's of today have fall in some kind of incontinence which our time incites, and this effect is also seen in you, and not just in atheist.

1. But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. 2. For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3. without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, 4. traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5. holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away (2 Tim 3:1-5)

Many of you may join in that part, that we live now in last time's, but not many still seems to want to admit that the last days people's are in here.

Repent people's make the big change in your life, and separate your values from this present worlds values, bending your heart to God.
