If you dont believe Christs death for a person actually brings them to God in a conversion experience as Per 1 Pet 3:18 indicates and teaches, then thats unbelief !
1 Peter 3:18 relates to those who have a good conscience [i.e. hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience (Heb 10:22)] ... those who have a good conversation [manner of life; lifestyle] in Christ according to 1 Peter 3:16 ... and those who suffer for well doing according to 1 Peter 3:17.

So 1 Peter 3:18 is speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ bringing the born again believer to God.

1 Peter 3:

16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit

For you to claim that 1 Peter 3:18 is speaking of "Christs death for a person actually brings them to God in a conversion experience" you are saying that a person who is already born again needs to again be born again so Christ may bring them to God.

Under your erroneous dogma, how many times must a person be born again before he or she is really, really, really, truly, scout's honor, born again???

Again ... read the verse in context brightfame52 ... they have a good conscience ... they have a good conversation [manner of life; lifestyle] in Christ ... yet they suffer for well doing (1 Peter 3:16-17).

If you don't believe in the efficaciousness of Christ death, that He brings the Elect to God 1 Pet 3:18 that is unbelief friend.

The Lord bought all men with his blood, even false prophets and evil men. The blood is applied upon belief.

2 Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

"He brings the Elect to God" ... there is only one "Elect" (capital E) and that is the Lord Jesus Christ ... so you're saying He brings Himself to God ...

Here are the recent posts submitted by me relating to 1 Peter 3:18:

please provide the post submitted by me wherein I deny the truth of what is written in 1 Peter 3:18 according to Scripture ... not holding my breath because you will not be able to provide the post ... nor will you stop with your false accusations.

you do know who is the accuser of the brethren ... and what is his eventual demise, yes???

Revelation 12:

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

You deny the scripture? God bought them with his blood, and yet, they deny him. Honestly, I would give up following the doctrines of Calvin, the RCC priest, and follow the Bible.

The ones Jesus died for He brings them to Glory 1 Pet 3:18

18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

And the people He died for, His death redeemed them from all iniquity and purifies them to zealous good works Titus 2:14

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

So your understanding of 2 Pet 2:1 is faulty and Christ dishonoring to say the least.

You deny the scripture? God bought them with his blood,
Yet that scripture doesnt say that, Christs Blood isnt mentioned, you interjected His Blood 2 Pet 2:1

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

And even if Christs Blood is implied, it very well had applied to the people , which the false teachers were among, the blood bought the people, not the false teachers among them. This understanding honors the efficasiousness of Christs redeeming blood, but the one you testify to dishonors His Blood, and is a distortion of the overall truth of scripture.

Is the following verses true? Did the Lord buy these false teachers and evil doers? But they denied him.

2 Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Even denying the Lord that bought them...

You shared your thoughts of what you think it says. The scripture I shared speaks for itself.

1 Peter 3:18 does not support your claim.

1 Peter 3:18 speaks of those who are already born again ... those who have a good conscience ... those who have a good conversation [manner of life; lifestyle] in Christ ... those who suffer for well doing (1 Peter 3:16-17).

For you to claim that 1 Peter 3:18 is speaking of folks being "brought to God in a conversion experience" you are saying that a person who is already born again needs to again be born again so Christ may bring them to God.
