Something simple, but awesome:

About three weeks ago, I started learning some boxing moves from my friend, just for fun. I thought it was pretty awesome, so I agreed to learning some more. After learning enough to spar, I did so with a different friend who learned some moves a little later by the same friend. We exchanged a lot of punches, and I gotta say, getting punched a lot doesn't make me very happy :P. I then sparred with the friend who taught me. He was getting me pretty good, and near the end of the fight, I got pretty angry. I tend to have a lot of anger inside of myself, not particularly at anyone or anything. Now when I say a lot, I don't mean a lot - I mean that once it gets started a lot of it gets released. Before I go any farther, I understand that anger is God given. Also, the worst I've done with that anger is get into fights with my brother; we never had any serious injuries, though. When I got angry in the match, there were times where I just wanted to let loose, and, praise God, I didn't. After the fight, while walking home, I thought about how angry I was. I immediately turned to God about the matter, and asked Him to help me control this so I don't get out of control. I decided that if it were to happen that I would stop boxing.

Today, I sparred again against the same two people and a different person, but this time, I prayed with my sparring partner (the second friend I introduced in the above paragraph; he's Christian and has some years under his belt God-wise). It wasn't surprising, but I was able to control what anger I had. He helped me during the match, too (but I'm pretty sure He helped my partner as well!). Praise God! I hope you all get something out of this, if even a mustard seed's worth.

I would definitely be careful with boxing, I am not exactly sure that is one of God's callings, I know my church did a whole session on how some activities should not be participated in. I am not saying that boxing is evil or anything like that, I am just saying, if there is any sort of devil that is released in you when doing some activity, (and anger is kinda the devil) that it might be best to distance yourself from that & get right with the Lord. Congrats on having control over your anger, that certainly is a feat for all Christians!! the Lord is faithful to the faithful ;)

I agree with you on that matter, mishlf. If something goes wrong, I've agreed to stop.
