I renounce all selfish goals and choose the ultimate goal of love (I Tim. 1:5) I choose to obey the greatest commandment, to love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul and mind and to love my neighbor as myself (Matt. 22:37-39)

For example, during the time after Christs resurrection, people were convinced the time was short and Jesus would be coming back. 2000 years later we are still waiting.

God is eternal. No beginning He is Spirit and present in all and through all as the Word states. Yes, the book of Revelation (given to John on the island of Patmos) does speak of things to come as do other scripture throughout the Bible. Do you know that more than one person has said they know when Jesus is coming back and of course every person who said such a thing was proven false.

All prophecy has not been fulfilled so while we are on the way in that direction, there is till quite a bit to happen.

As God is not a part of time, Peter, in the verse you are asking about, reminds us that while some may think God is slow in fulfilling His word, He actually doing so, but not on our timetable. We could also say that what God can do in one of our days (although He is not constrained that way but for the purpose of understanding I say it) would be like 1000 years to us

So yeah. We are definitely in time, unlike God and we are not able to cross that boundary until death.

And as you have figured out I am discussing based upon God's timing. To me, it's the most surest thing I believe I can count on. Even though we live by time, like you have mentioned, I figure that the most assured reference to all Biblical matters is to think about them in God's timing.

In summation regarding the above affirmations (affirmation meaning we agree with the word. none of those points are my words; they are ALL scripture so take your hostility to God should you have any)

If you want to walk in truth you begin with the Bible. Not your pastor, teacher, friend, Christian fiction, me or anyone. We ALL have the same source and that is the Bible. God's loving and kind word to us. You believe this truth, accept it by and walk in faith and your feelings will begin to line up with this truth and change how and what you think and how you behave.

And no one said it is easy. It takes perseverance and character (which we develop as we follow Jesus) to live that way.

And kindly note I am most definitely NOT saying it is just you and God in a corner somewhere. That is not biblical. God has given gifts to the body and these are for the growth and edification of the church (not a building or denomination, but true believers in Christ)
If it is just you and God, you need to find a body of believers or church to attend to grow in Christ.

Paul said, in speaking to believers of his time, that we know the wiles of the devil. We are not ignorant of them. He never once said that no worries Jesus gonna appear in your room and kick the ole devil in the who ha and you good.

WE have power over the enemy ONLY in the name of Jesus. And this I will write in caps because it is the truth that you do NOT seem to know.

THE BATTLE IS NOT A PHYSICAL BATTLE. IT IS NOT A POWER STRUGGLE. IT IS A TRUTH BATTLE ON THE BASIS OF THE VICTORY OF JESUS

Do I expect you to actually acknowledge any of the above? No I do not. You are well practiced in how you relate to your stories and talk to people and enjoy all that attention that comes from your renditions. Do I have experience? Oh I sure do and that is why I know what is really going on here. Your tactic here is to put me on the defensive but I have nothing to defend. What I said is the truth and you do not find room for that in your demonic stories which bring no glory to God but do, however, garner you plenty of attention.

I really do not care how much you huff and puff or how you try to appear like a little lamb. You say you take issue with me and I have seen where you have said to others that they had better not say anything about so and so because then they will deal with you. I am not as new to this forum as it appears on my bio so I have seen quite a bit from you but have not really engaged you before.

So how are you going to deal with me Blain? Huh? Those are just words too with no substance. Others just back off and leave you be because it's like talking to a wall trying to get behind the Blain story telling hour. But you have a choice. It is your choice and not mine but sadly I am pretty sure what the outcome will be.

You don't have to wrestle with demons (if you are). Jesus has provided the victory over them.

I am not going to address you anymore, in case you have managed to read this far. I don't have to deal with you or someone like you on a daily basis so I am content to leave you where you are at. Jesus is our peace but it sounds like you don't have much of it. This thread was never about demons but that is what it has become. I have seen you introduce demons into more than one thread and I think it sad that you do that and encourage people to talk all about these activities.



While on this earth, we do answer to other Christians and especially those whom God has chosen to lead or has extended gifts to for the building up of the body of Christ. There should be no lone rangers or those who demand answers or else and so on. Saying you only answer to God is typical of someone who takes no instruction and thinks they are somehow 'special'.

But you have a choice as do we all and you are free to talk about demons all you want. But no longer with me. I choose to end this fruitless exhange and I will not engage you again as that is obviously your preference. No worries.

As I said before I can see this is going nowhere and I have no intention arguing with you about this I tried to be polite with you about this and tried to reason with you but this is not going anywhere and again you can discard my stories since it seems to trigger you. And no I am not having a shield between you and I people just see what has been going on and judged accordingly I already even apologized to you if I misunderstood how you felt about me I tried to tell you about the fruits of spirit but you disregard it and call me manipulative shifting my attitude having alternet motives all kinds of accusations that are not warrented or true

yet still didi I respond to you in the same way? did I not try to respond in a polite manner? if we were to go back and quote all the accusations you have made about me and quote every so called accusation I have made it would show who is at fault here and that person would be for the reader to decide as you and I cannot speak for ourselves in this matter if this was a court room we would be judged by our peers and right;ly so as each person has in their mind that they are in the right standing here

So I will let others judge me not you and they would be a better judge as to what has really been going on between you and I and I even encourage others to do so and if I am at fault then I will answer for it but you cannot judge me because your mind is already set in stone about this

Amen but it’s specific to those in Christ who reject those other spirits in tbe world . Brother I sure don’t think the failure is on you nor tbat you are ignorant of scriptures. Like you accepted Christ there are other spirits in tbe world that fill up the vessels of humankind

If someone is actively willfully rejecting Christ and the gospel that’s not something another person can fix for them . The Lord can open her eyes however and then she may be receptive to your words I’ll pray for the lord to get her attention with you

Yes God has an ordained clock he does his work in that is why the feast days are set on certain days and times the prophetic clock is what he goes by it is a fascinating subject to study

While I stand by what I said about being "fixed upon Christ," and the concerns about deliverance obsession, I just had a Witch pull a spell on me and went through a whole thing with it online.. ugh.. the witchcraft I could feel. She targeted me on another site where I was sharing some Bible stuff with some brothers and sisters in Christ. So I do affirm there is some real battles that go on.
