Here is some notes of a brief message I presented, I hope it is edifying to all who read it... please keep in mind it is notes and there are grammatical errors .. so please excuse 
The life is in the blood
The first time in all the bible that blood is mentioned is Genesis 4:10 what did cry out? for the first time in all the creation inocent blood was shed upon they earth, without cause. some believe the Father took the life of a ram and a ewe to clothe Adam and Eve but this was not with out cause.
the second time the word blood is mentioned is genesis 9. in these text there is a warning and a blessing.
Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
Gen 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
Gen 9:5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
Gen 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
The blessing is to be fruitfull and multiply in the earth. being fruitfull in a Spirituall sense requires surrender and obediance to the one whos blood was shed for us. "In the earth" is also mentioned in John 17:15, we are to be in the earth but not part of the world. we are a peculiar treasure in the eyes of the one who gave all for us, Beginning in Matthew 13:44 we see a treasure of great value, i realize many see this treasure as our Savior and how the man gave all he had to obtain it... but i see this as we are the treasure and he gave all to obtain it...
The next mention of blood and life is found in Gen. 37. here blood of a goat was used for the purpose of deception. amazing what lengths man will go to pursue wickedness.
In Gen. 49:11 we have a prophecy of our Messiah, the blood here though is from the grape.Gen 49:10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
Gen 49:11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: here in this next text is the type of the great antitype.
Exo 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
here is the blood of A lamb.
Exo 24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. a life had to be lost to bring life
Lev 17:12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
Lev 17:13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
Lev 17:14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
The life of ALL flesh is in the blood.....

Even the heathen knew of the blood inthe sense that they feared Yahweh even though they worshipped others mighty ones.
now we come to the text that started this whole message: Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
going on to the 66th verse we see many left Him after He spoke these words... here is where the division was made between fleshly and Spiritual, doubtless these men heard or read in the Torah the prohibition against eating of blood,lt alone mans.... seems even his faithfull disciples looked for a temporal kingdom even intill after he rose from the dead, only then did they begin to grasp what He meant by the words recorded in verse 54, Peter may not have understood but he did recognize that no one else had the words of life...

Joh 6:61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
Joh 6:62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Joh 6:64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
Joh 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
Joh 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Joh 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
Joh 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Joh 6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
Joh 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
Joh 6:71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
see that in verse 63 He clearly explained exactly what he meant...
remember he spoke these words in the synagog, his flesh is the bread of life, His blood is the life , what does this mean to drink His blood? remember that in verse 56 it speaks of dwelling in Him and he in us, just as when we eat our food it becomes part of us, its not enough to look at our food we must actually eat it....
in John 1:1-5 we see he is the word... Logos in the koine greek...

The Fathers plan. for the redemtion of mankind, His plan was to give Him for us, not just so we could study scripture, but so we could ingest it, into our hearts and minds, makeing a part of all we are, we well know Yahshua is more then a plan but rather the father's thought and plan of salvation whom Yahshua willingly and knowingly gave himself to realize it.
the blood in our bodies is amazing in its complexity, in the average adult there is around 5.3 quarts of blood about 2.75 quarts is plasma, plasma is the liquid our blood cells float in, red blood cells , white blood cells and platlets make up the rest, (without going into a long lesson in hometology) RBC's carry oxygen from the luyngs, WBC's fight infection. Red blood cells at work. Hemoglobin is the protein inside red blood cells that carries oxygen. Red blood cells also remove carbon dioxide from your body, transporting it to the lungs for you to exhale.
the same cell that gives life giving oxygen to the body also carries away the waste produced by the body in the form of carbon dioxide.
in like manner as we eat of His flesh and drink of his blood, all the needs are met, we need not look to any other resource, the same word cleanses and nurishes us at the same time... , as the white blood cells protect us by fighting infections, so the living word protects us not only from the deceptions of the enemy of our souls ,but from the infections of false doctrine, and from comprimise, we all know well (2 Tim. 2:15).
the blood is our life, our beloved Savior shed his blood the whole time He was walking among men, not only on the cross,He was the target of every power of hell, the enemy was rellentless in his attempts to cuase the Holy one to corrupt himself, the enemy worked through the very leaders of the nation He came to deliver, such pain of spirit we cannot fully grasp, imagine a beloved child, who you raised up loved and nurished all his life turned on you and wanted you killed? the time He walked among men He had a source of strength we all have... he looked beyond the moment, saw the overall result of the travail of His precious soul, He depended wholey and completely on Yahweh, He was fixed and engaged on His mission objective... the very fate of humanity hung in the ballance, as well as His own. It was not without risk that He came and dwelt among fallen man.
We too have to consider the end of all this... there are precious souls who He died and bled for all around us. we all hold the cure for this terrible disease of sin, and we all have a place in this battle for souls, however for us to be effective in this war , we must be clean and strong in Him, both spiritually and physically. the enemy we are charged with fighting is strong, and well knows how to exploit any weaknesses.
our Savior told His early disciples this:Joh 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
consider this text for a moment... is there anything the enemy has in us? is there comprimise or weakness? there need not be, we have in abundance every resource we will ever need to not only fight our foe, but defeat with awsome power and might of the holy one...
we have the power of His blood, by which we have been made clean and whole. therefore not only is there no excuse for us, but there is a grave responsibility as well. every moment wasted, every oppritunity overlooked is too costly, we have within ourselves this awsome and amazing power of redemton through and by Him... however in order for Him to use us we must be diciplined and able, this takes training and practice. what we do now, in these days of relitive calm will determine how effective we will be in the days of intense warfare to come.
we have drunk His blood and eaten His flesh. we must do so everyday, it is our life and our likeline to other desperate and perishing souls who are even now crying out in pain and anguish for deliverance.. without Him we can do nothing, the path is narrow and we all must walk it carefully, we have His assurance and promises that He will NEVER leave us not foresake us, we need to realize who and what we really are... and allow ourselves each moment to be the tool in His hand to continue the work He begane in Genesis 1. His glory will fill the earth and the knowledge of Yahweh will cover the earth as the seas, lets be that tool, that weapon weilded skillfully by the auther and finisher of our Faith.
