● John 3:14-17 . . As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so
must the Son of Man be lifted up; that whoever believes may in him have
eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

The incident to which Christ referred is located at Num 21:5-9.

Long story short: Moses' people became weary of eating manna all the time
at every meal. But instead of courteously, and diplomatically, petitioning
their divine benefactor for a different diet, they became indignant and
confrontational; angrily demanding better accommodations.

In response to their insolence, and their ingratitude for His providence; God
sent a swarm of deadly poisonous vipers among them; which began striking
people; and every strike was 100% fatal, no exceptions.

After a number of people died, the rest came to their senses and begged
Moses to intercede. In reply; The Lord instructed Moses to fashion a replica
of the vipers and hoist it up on a pole in plain view so that everyone dying
from venom could look to it for relief.

The key issue here is that the replica was the only God-given remedy for the
people's bites-- not sacrifices and offerings, not tithing, not church
attendance, not scapulars, not confession, not holy days of obligation, not
the Sabbath, not rosaries, not weeping, not the golden rule, not charity, not
Bible study and/or Sunday school, not self denial, not vows of poverty, not
the Ten Commandments, nor even one's ideology of choice, i.e. it wouldn't
have mattered whether somebody was Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic,
Protestant, Baha'i, Atheist, Agnostic, or whatever. No; the replica was it;
nothing else would suffice to save their lives.

As an allegory, the brazen serpent indicates that Christ's crucifixion for the
sins of the world is the only God-given rescue from the wrath of God; and
when people accept it, then according to John 3:14-17 and John 5:24, they
qualify for a transfer from death into life. Those who reject his crucifixion as
the only God-given rescue from the sum of all fears, are already on the
docket to face it.

● John 3:18 . .Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does
not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the
name of God's one and only Son.

In context His son's "name" is relative to the brazen serpent incident.

Find a quiet place, anywhere will do. Cover you face with your hands for a
sense of privacy and tell God you have never yet measured up to His
standards and you're pretty sure you never will. Tell Him you would like to
take advantage of His son's death; and thank Him for His time.

Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.

Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?

For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.

John 6:39-40
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

So he will raise up the image of brazen serpent again.It's us who he will raise up.We are in the image of the serpent because our bodies are corrupted.Our soul is bowed down to the dust,our belly cleaveth unto the earth,like the one in the garden.

I'm sure this wont sit well with a lot of people reading this.The body is satanic.This is what Jesus told me himself years ago and it made me mad when he said it.Why did he create us like this? He didn't.It was the fall.

When Jesus said "I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven" why did he say that to the 72 who went out in his name?
Because people were repenting and believed.It starts in the mind right?our thoughts start in our head.Jesus is the head of the church.That makes the head the cornerstone.It's the holy of Holies.
The serpent placed himself in the heavenly place but fell like lightning.Where did he fall?Down to the feet.

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Remember,the body is a sign,and it is in the image of a living Ark of the Covenant.The feet is the water,the head is the blood.The spirit is the mercy seat.
Satan is the accuser.His place is at the water,where you are judged and convicted of your sins.You are given the power to crush him under your heel.

Because our bodies are corrupted,our mind goes to and fro on the earth like satan does when he was asked where he came from.
I'm saying our mind is set on the things of the world and on desires of the flesh.
It's always racing.Having Jesus on your mind continually is placing him as the head of your church.
It's an onward battle though.The signs are there.Every day the sun goes down and there is darkness.Every day man needs sleep.But you find rest and light in Jesus.
The flesh is weak,but the mind is willing.

What do you mean by that?Like how the Israelites worshiped the image of the serpent/beast,or like how Jesus said that he will destory this temple, and rebuild it in 3 days?
 
Jesus says in John 6 that he will raise it up again in the last day.He is clearly talking about the brazen serpent.And he immediately says that anyone who believes in him, that he will raise him up at the last day.It is very obvious that he is talking about the same thing.
We are the brazen serpent.
 
The pole used 'to raise up' the brazen serpent is the branch himself and this is how it all relates to Jesus on the cross.
Our bodies are a living sacrifice and Jesus restored all things on the cross.He took this body and made it a holy offering unto the Lord.
