It just shows Christian nationalism for what it is.

I think it's the best thing since 1990s Saturday Night Live.
If he wins, i want him roasting journalists again on his White House briefings.

Chosen for what? Whatever he has been chosen for it sure has all the demonic people in power scared.

If he has been chosen to execute judgment on all the ungodly ones because of their ungodly deeds they have done, then it would simply be proof of the Lord's word. "Many are called but few are chosen". It also leaves them without excuse. No doubt many who were called said they couldn't because they had their own faults and sins.

I went to look online to see what the lyrics of the song were and nowhere could I find that it said Trump is chosen to bring salvation and yet many reviewers make the claim that is what the song is saying, mainly to mock and ridicule it. But that is simply slander and lies.

If Trump is chosen to be an instrument whereby Jesus fulfills this prophecy:

14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Then there is no reason to think that means Trump is a savior or is bringing salvation to anyone. The Bible does not equate being "chosen" to being the Messiah or to being the Lord. Jesus chose Judas, He can choose anyone for any job.

It is sad how people who know nothing of Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory, or of the word of God, love to throw their two cents in about stuff they know nothing of. They simply expose how foolish and ignorant they are.

I think "chosen" in this song means Trump has some kind special anointment from God to lead the country out of a dark time or maybe he is just "the chosen" by the people to led out of dark time.

Either way, the purpose of the song is to evoke an emotion response and rouse a sense of patriotism.

Lyrics are hard to find, but here's a few:

I’m not saying He’s something divine
He gets in trouble bigly Time after time
He’s controversial But one thing is true
Imperfect people A perfect God can use
I’m standing with the Chosen one
Ain’t no stopping what the Lord’s begun
He’s only human Like you and me
Just a chosen one The chosen one
This great nation Is under attack
And its real leader has Arrows in his back
So many greet him With a Judas kiss
But God gave us a warrior For such a time as this
Chorus
Brothers and sisters lay down your stones There’s only one God and He’s still on the throne
Chorus

I agree that all those who are showing "outrage" at the song have to find hidden meaning and "discern" what the word "chosen" means.

The bottom line is that the term "chosen" in the New Testament and in the Old Testament does not in any way suggest a reference to the Messiah or to the Savior.

Peter -- But ye are a chosen generation

Samuel -- And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the Lord hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? (That is a reference to King Saul, not David). Samuel, the prophet, tells us the Lord chose Saul, just because Saul was a failure does not mean he was not chosen.

Matthew 20:16 -- So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

This is how God brings judgment on those who think they are the elites.

John 6:70. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Being chosen does not preclude the possibility of being the devil. Satan also was chosen to do a job.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

The world hating you is evidence that you have been chosen out of the world by the Lord. It is not proof, but being hated by the world is certainly one of the characteristics of those that are chosen.

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

This is referring to Saul of Tarsus who had come to arrest Christians and haul them off to prison. Saul of Tarsus who was consenting unto the death of Stephen. God can and does choose people we would never expect.

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

From the lyrics that I read this is clearly her point in her song.

From the lyrics that I read this verse is a valid interpretation.

Yes, I believe that I have been chosen as well and this proves that Jesus Christ has a sense of humor.

Thanks I did not catch it all just listening.

I like the last line a lot, that is what needs to happen.

But is she right? Is trump truly chosen by God to lead us back to Him? Because from what I see, other than abortion, trump goes against most everything Jesus taught. Which would then turn the song into a form of idolatry.

Why are you asking me? Only God can tell us who he has chosen. Being chosen does not mean that you are chosen to lead people back to God. Judas was chosen, he accomplished a critical job. Jesus said He chose Judas, that doesn't mean it was a form of idolatry.

No, she's not right. If Trump were chosen by God to turn the nation back to Him, he would be preaching repentance and forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ. In other words, he would be preaching the gospel. Trump may have been chosen for some purpose, but it isn't to turn the nation to repentance and back to Him.

Fair enough.

Scripture tells us in many places that false prophets would come in His Name and lead many of His people away from His Truths.

I guess Trump could be the chosen one to fulfill that prophesy.

But I STILL hate the idea that good brothers and sisters will be deceived and led away from their faith.
