Which would then turn the song into a form of idolatry.

Every time he holds a Bible upside down, every time he gathers in a prayer circle, every time he and his acolytes claim he is promoting Christian mores.... Yeah ya missed it.

And even more than him, his acolytes worship him and proclaim him to be the one who will usher in Christian nationalism. They're more vocal than he is. They're actually the bigger offenders.

I do. Because the Bible tells us repeatedly that someone just like him will come in His Name, falsely proclaiming to be the land's savior, when in reality he and his horde are leading believers AWAY from God's ways. God says many will depart from their faith because of this.

We ALL should care about that.

So I looked up the Bible thing and you are right, he did not hold it upside down. So I stand corrected (imagine that, someone willing to change a position when presented the facts! Guess that makes me neither republican or democrat.). So I'll withdraw that charge, and replace it with his special Bible that conflates God's word with political jargon, in direct violation of 2 Timothy 2:3-4.

And I did say that proclaiming him to be "the one" was more his followers than him, so I'll stick by that one. Yeah you're missing that. Look outside this forum, you know, this isn't the only place he's being discussed. I mean, go back to the subject of this thread.

I won't exactly change position but I will say this. I have a dear friend who has been ill and she sent me a link to lady on FB who is constantly prophesying about Trump. I hit the link and she's on my page and I don't want to hurt my friend. She's Canadian so it doesn't really matter. But this woman she linked me to is constantly calling Trump "my David", that is what God has told her. I don't agree with that. I don't agree with TV evangelists that are just trying to be seen. Now maybe this lady really believes what she's saying. But I don't think Trump is called in a spiritual sense than Churchill was. I think God allows people to be in office for a time for his own reasons. I'm not big on spiritualizing Trump presidency. I know people who know him personally and say he's saved, I can't make that judgement call. If he is, I'd say it's a recent happening. Either way, I don't fall in with that crowd. Trump to me is more like Churchill, standing against Marxism that the left is trying to push. Anyhow, that's more insight for you from me than you've ever wanted.
