The Church is founded by Jesus Himself (Matthew 16.18) so that He can dwell in the world:
*What is the Church?* "Here is the tabernacle of God with men." The Church corresponds to those who have a personal relationship with Jesus and, therefore, serve as a reference for those who wish to know Him better and have contact and even intimacy with Him.
*What is the purpose of the Church?* The Creator wants to use it to dwell among men. This is not a mere sporadic visit (as seen in many services where the Holy Spirit is called for). No! We are not visitation temples, but the dwelling of the Holy Spirit (1Co 3.16; 6.19; 2Co 6.16).
*What does the Creator want through the Church?* To create for Himself a people, a seed of the pious (Ml 2.15) that portrays who the Creator is in His essence.
*Who is this God who is with His people?* He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Ml 3.6; Hebrews 13.8), whether in heaven or on earth. It is not a different God, but it is the same God who acted in the Old, in the New Testament, who acts today, will act in the millennium and for all eternity. Although He can change His acts, He does not change His character.
*What benefit does this bring to the people?* The Creator is the God of overcomers, that is, the full satisfaction and fulfillment of each one, so that He is the supply of all our needs (Ps 37.4).
So, no matter what happened or what is happening: keep your mind on the coming reward that is exactly the world that the people have always struggled to have, but that they never got, nor will ever get.
