And why, do you guys feel the need to scour the Christian community, and decide who is and is not True Christians? Convert people, don't condemn them. You say I'm not a Christian, and yet nothing is accomplished this way. Only more hatred.

Your job isn't to find the odd ones out in a community. Your job is to make sure as many people reach heaven as possible.
Amen my friend. That is very true. Indeed. My friend this is not for scouring. It is for a helpful nudge. You are very right. Hatred genders strife and much. But you came out with an attack against a fellow, and I defended him. Be careful then how you treat others.

So we can have peace on this then?

Doesn't make sense? Care to point that out?

A lie is a lie, and hate is hate. You hate all non-believers, no matter what you try to say otherwise. You want to kill radical Muslim terrorists. Forget that, you probably want to kill muslims in general. "Hate Comes to Orange County" is the best way I can emphasize how Christians can be just as "evil" as any other group.
Initial Condition, i don't hate anybody even if u try to prove dat or not. Most of my friends while i was in Nigeria were unbelievers, my closest friend while i was in Nigeria is a muslim. My brother and dad are unbelievers.

So i'm beginning to wonder why they aren't dead if truly i wanted to kill them. So i'd appreciate it if u stop going out of point..

And about when u were critisizing the existence of God, i think u need to go back to ur earlier posts

Only if I can have confidence that one day, you will open your mind, and view the world through a "non-believers" eyes. Not to take up on his beliefs, but to understand him as a human being, in relation to yourself. I want you and everyone here to realize that their existence and another person's existence ultimately have all the same properties. A blade of grass is different, yet similar to another blade of grass.

If you can view the world through an atheist's eyes, you can understand that atheist. And by look through his eyes, I don't mean as someone who is skeptical of everything. As a human, who wants to live a happy life, and even provide comfort for the ones they love. This is all I ask. Build a strong human foundation with fellow humans, and build a strong Divine foundation with God. Both are needed, in my opinion, so don't criticize me, to make you a Creation of God that has reached potential.

Empathy, compassion, understanding, reverence, awe, respect, sympathy, hope, faith, and love are the values of human life, granted to us by God. Therefore, the majority of (there are always circumstances, and situations) humans, non-believer or not, have these traits.

I don't want us to spawn a generation of humans that despise all non-believers, so I do what I can to promote openmindedness in communities, and expand our understanding of other humans.

Yes again very true. Indeed, I see what you are saying. That is where we can become self-righteous. I understand you my friend. However, I wanted you to see where you were attacking a believer, not some alien to you. He was simply saying what was on his heart. And his is right. Now, then another came in and made it more of an issue for an issue in him. But between you and me and Toby, there should be NO strife. That is all.

We should love one another, that way Jesus sees we are his disciples. I am not in a position above anyone, but to lift my fellows above me so that perhaps when they get to where the Lord wants them they might reach down and pull me up. This is how it is, like a staircase.

Anyhow. Be more cautions next time. I know I came on hard, but it wasn't for strife. Anyhow. May Jesus bless you.

Humans naturally fail to see things through another person's eyes. I believe that tobby doesn't consider an atheist's own heartfelt feelings when trying to profile them. That's why I am distraught. Why do we Christians have the right to say that any group is Evil, if we do not even understand them? A perfect example is US slavery. Caucasians didn't understand the feelings of the Africans, and enslaved them, and we still stereotype that they are rapists and such. In truth, we simply took negativity, and put an African face on it. I dont' want this to repeat itself in future generations.

My friend. This is the great compassion of the Lord Jesus. He came to SAVE us from sin. Do you see? SAVE US!!

Now, why would we need saving from sin? Because the end of sin is death. How so?

Well it is really obvious. Murder ends in death. Lying has killed many people. Adultery has killed many people. Thieves have killed many people. Drunkeness has killed many people. Gossiping has killed many people. And so many other things that the Lord warned us about has had many people killed.

Now, anyone who teaches these things and partakes in these things are evil. But that is not my judgement but the Lords. But Jesus came to change our hearts. So that we will not perish with evildoers and so that, by our deeds, (which we do because we love Jesus) men will see our works and glorify God. I love you in Jesus. May Jesus bless you.

And God has killed people. That is a truth.

I have lied to my friends about trivial things. I'm sure you and everyone else has as well. Does that mean we are condemned? Or is there another factor? How many things must we take into account? My friend is atheist, and I believe he is not evil. He is too meek to hurt or kill others. Do I assume Satan has his soul, and put him out of his misery, knowing full well I can't convert him?

Jesus came to change our hearts, but the human mind is also a trait we carry. We can rationalize what parts of the bible we follow, and so use Jesus as a banner under which we carry out "holy wars" and such things.

Again very right very true. But Jesus came for FORGIVENESS of sin. Not that by our deeds we are justified, but by GRACE through faith.

But now, after someone has faith to be saved, or healed, why would they frustrate the grace of God by sinning? So now you see two people, or maybe three.
You see one person who dies in hate and robbed immediately after the Word is sown. You see another who begins well but is caught up with the things of this world, and then when tribulation comes they are offended (these people are the compromisers). But you see other people who receive and continue in and produce fruit. And Jesus sees the fruit.

We don't determine what is good and evil. God has. Jesus sees past murder. He said ANYONE WHO HAS HATE IN HIS HEART IS THE SAME AS A MURDERER!! AND ANYONE WHO LUSTS IN HIS HEART HAS COMMITTED ADULTERY!!

So now, who is rationalizing? Again, when men try to determine what is evil and what is not, they end up in the garden of Eden, eating the fruit of their own desire.

May Jesus bless you and keep you.

even if we can't determine right and wrong, we can determine this: Which of the following groups are the more hateful, and therefore, the more wrong? Muslim, or the Tea Party Christians?

Again, anyone who does not obey Jesus will burn. As simple as that. Do you think the title of a Christian excuses anyone from judgement? If I said to a Judge, ''Hey I am a policeman,'' will he excuse me from the judgement? NO!! In fact he will judge more severely, because, being one who was set to establish the law, he should have kept the law, and had enough respect for the law not to make other transgress the law by his own greed and pride and arrogance.

God determines right and wrong. And we must believe HIM.

So there are standards in and outside of the church. The people who knew the way of righteousness (if they ever knew in the first), will be judged within the law. And all unbelievers will be judged without the law. So no one will escape the judgement of the Lord. So if you say you are a Christian, are you now a lukewarm Christian? You might be young, but you are without excuse now. So am I. So is everyone!!

May Jesus bless you and keep you.

Quick question. I'm an evolutionist, and I also listen to Stephen Hawking's teachings. I see nothing wrong with learning about physics, how the universe that God has constructed works, and applying it to my daily life. Am I going to hell? God made this universe so that it is self-sustaining. We have already observed so much from astronomy and particle physics that we are indeed learning the universe's secrets. Please don't say that we can't understand the universe, for we are creeping ever closer to that.

Will learning how the universe works condemn us? I have faith in God, but I also have my eyes that God gave me, and I can see the universe around me, as so many have before me. And what they have observed, they have determined is not arbitrary. We will learn how the universe works, but what is your opinion on this?

You make me sad my friend. You case deteriorates with each word. Did not God create man in his image and after his likeness? And so, you say you are an evolutionist, but did God create man from dust or from other animals then? No one can serve God in their mind, but in Spirit and in Truth. You can't serve two masters. There is only one Lord, one faith, and one Baptism. One God!

I tell you people have altogether become like animals. Supposed to have greater knowledge but return again like animals. Brute beasts, who presuming to have some knowledge have rejected all knowledge. As many atheist claim to have all knowledge, saying there is no God, but can't see the obvious need for salvation. Anyhow. Anyone who does not obey Jesus will indeed end up in hell.

May Jesus bless you.

I apologize for making you sad. But, as I'm sure you agree, God works in mysterious ways. I know that I'm not as religious as some, but at the very least, I can try to put my own heart at ease by thinking that God set evolution in motion. I see nothing wrong with that. I see nothing wrong with believing that God started the world, and placed into it the laws of physics by which it abides. I believe that he engineered the universe in a way that we specifically would evolve. As an omnipotent being, he could do this, and I have faith that he has done so. So, am I still spiritually duped? I try to build a relationship with God that suits me best, so that I can come to be with him one day, and understand him.

With Science, we can easily tell that we are on a medium-sized planet, rotating around an average sun, in an average solar system, in an average galaxy. What I feel is so significant about our location is that God put us HERE. That means that this point is not arbitrary, it is chosen by God himself. I believe that God set the universe in motion, and created the laws of physics so it could be self-sustaining. This is why I trust God with everything, because he's made a universe that will continue itself without guidance, AND YET he chooses to offer guidance to us.

May Jesus bless you my friend. In fact, the Lord, when I was carnally minded, used carnal means to teach me about himself. I see that is where you are. It is like the parables. He spoke to us of Spiritual things in carnal ways, though some who presumed themselves to be Spiritual could not understand him. All it takes is a humble heart. So NO!! It does not mean you are spiritually duped. lol.

What I am saying is that men will never figure out God by keeping a carnal mind. There is a time we have to jump that gap, we can't be babies forever. And I know there are some people younger than me who are more mature in Christ. You are much younger but you are very mature. Now, maturity is prevented when we continue in the INITIAL CONDITION! LOL!! We have to grow up one day.

But You are blessed to be so young and to care to figure. But I just don't want to see you go the way of many other people who, after following for a while, are offended. Because the wisdom of men fades into dust, as does the flesh.

May Jesus bless you and keep you.

I do not seek to understand God by earthly means. I seek to understand him when I stand with him in Heaven. I seek to understand his creations, however. They have been here for so long. I see Evolution as another of his Creations.
