Top rated doctors don't want to live in a small town. Most specialists we have to drive to Denver or Grand Junction to see.

We have high taxes, but they're not usually used for hospitals.

(we have income tax of about 30%,
food tax (varies a bit, 5- 15 I think), property tax, "culture tax" (yeah, we pay 15% VAT on cinema tickets )
