So we've all made mistakes, right? Why not confess them and let them out! They can be big or small. If you've done something you're not proud of but want to confess it (whether today, yesterday, 20 years ago, whatever), feel free to post it here! :)

Please do not start attacking anothers integrity on this thread (or altogether if you can avoid it!). I'm hoping this will be a mature thread. Lifting up others, however, is more than welcome!

My confessions for today: I ignored a call for hours, I've been too passive in regards to what I believe in the hopes of avoiding drama, I've searched for more concrete evidence of God rather than using my faith muscles, I have not prayed as much as I'd like to today. (I'm sure there's more but that's what I've thought of) :)

I continue to smoke regardless of how hard I try to stop,.. Though I am makin progress[:

So much for "free will", lol.

LoL Yeah I can't imagine giving up something like smoking. That's got to be tough! My mom gave it up years ago and still craves a cigarette when she smells the smoke.

Ever get that nagging feeling in the back of your mind that says the confessions we most need to make are gonna be the hardest to say? Cause I do. >_<

An easy confession for me - I have been, am, and will continue to feel like a grouchy [word for female dog] every morning until I fully wake up. :p

You can find all my confessions in my new book called........

"Confessions of An Extremely Hot Christian Who Is Struggling With The Concept of Humility"

Subtitled - "My Mirror Doesn't Lie, So Why Should I?"

My confession... I should keep up more with the people I really miss in my life but I don't :( I also need to start going back to Church. Being on my own I feel like I get too caught up in other things and I need to focus more on Church and the people I love

Happy Mother's Day :)

my confesstion, i wish i was a man coz i hate having peirods, they make me grumpy, emotional. and men never have to worry about pushing a melon out, and lactacting nipples.

I got caught peeping into windows...

I didn't get caught but I was found guilty before The Lord of doing so,.. Thanks be to Him that I no longer bare the concequences a of that guilt as He as cleansed me from that.

Confessions: naming all of them would take forever. Haha. Drinking and doing drugs to fill the void in life would be a couple. So glad I was saved from that path. Even though those temptations do come sometimes, it gets easier to knock it out of my mind quicker with each day that's passing. Thank God. :)

Many years ago, we were asked to help someone in need, it was only for a few months.
I was afraid being a new mommy, that I couldnt do it, and my husband was concered it might be a mistake to bring this person into our home because of legal issues.
So we said no.
The person was a small child, who we believed would be ok, as the child was placed in a christian foster home.
Less than a month later, this small child was beaten to death by the foster father.
I know God has forgiven me and my husband, but to this day, my heart still is heavy with regret and guilt.
It is hard to even consider, the pain this child suffered, and would have been avoided, if we had simply said yes to the simple request for help.

We never know how much is given by answering a request for help, I pray that we all will never find out by refusing one.

I only smoked for 3 years, I would go through a pack in 2 days.

I quit cold turkey 2 months ago, but what sucks is when I dream I have dreams about cigarettes.

I've been an 'a hole' on the forums (inadvertently); not only a confession, but an apology to anybody I may have offended. Working on how to better convey myself. :)

I struggle many times with making little the importance of spending time with God everyday; which not doing so
leads to other issues. Lust and selfishness or also other things I've had to turn away from....and fight to this very day. So glad God never gave up on me through it all.

I'm so sorry... That's such a sad story... :(

i have a roommate who is very ummm "self aware" we will say, so i just happened to put a little hair removal product in his personal shampoo bottle
i don't think he's fully caught on yet

does that count as a confession?

I bet he will be upset over that. Very funny too.

I've got plenty, but I guess I'll list what I feel brave enough to say without having some sort of mental breakdown.

I've been withdrawing from "friends" (thought were friends at the time and still avoiding some people I talk/ed to now) and I feel like they're in a sense getting in the way for me to even be withdrawn but at the same time I know that it's really me because I made the choice to just ignore them with no explanation and I felt that it was something I just needed to be... alone. Realizing even after episodes of this that I shouldn't have done it, I deserve when people are not willing to contact back after so many months and even in some cases they try for months to contact me and I just turn a cold shoulder at them. I feel like I need people and realize this after the whole incident is done but when people try to get close with me I feel like I'm at constant threat because what I think the root cause of it was when I actually put my full trust in people that later on I figured out they were liars and backstabbers and one that definitely flipped what little social life I had over through manipulation that even brought my family into it. My recent case being this guy that we started talking again over a month ago and it's kind of been bumpy ever since (like it's always been) to the point where I feel like I'm too distant and he'd say about it in a different way even though deeply I knew he referred to me on the situation and then I would want to be closer and try to give some sort of remorse and feelings but then everything goes hectic again. Right now after doing something that probably had him get the idea that I was starting to avoid again (which I will admit I did because I thought we were done), I'm just being the bait and trying to see if he can talk to me again... Which if he does or doesn't, I think now that we should just stop talking all together for the sake of me not doing this since I don't really know what extent it affects people, but I know it's never good because I've dealt with it too. I notice from this that it's not necessarily the other person even though they do/say something that makes me feel threatened, I'm just scared to actually commit when it comes to some sort of mutual friendship or whatever. My social life for a few years other than these cases has been nothing and I'm too awkward to even be around with because I know I screw up at some point during it. Anxiety pretty much has taken over my life and I feel as though it's a bit of a lost cause. Everyone else moves on but here I am, taking a step forward then two steps back.

Another that I've been thinking about lately even though I won't get too much into detail is about my older brother. I don't see him very often and when the occasion does come I know I'm not welcomed within rightful reasons because I treated him like trash for so many years. My parents are giving a blind eye (like they always do) and I've just been feeling guilt even the thought of it and don't even know if possible there's any way that it can be fixed now. Again, my fault. I'll stop from there.

Not very forgiving either for when something does happen and the only time I probably "forgive" is through desperation and then I fall for the same mistake each time. I can hold grudges with people over something so stupid that can last for years and even though I realized the problem, I can never bring myself to forgive and truly let it all go as much as I really would like to.

Everything that's happened and what hasn't been done is leaving me into a wreck and I literally feel like I'm dying when reminded of it. I was supposed to go to the doctor's for a problem that may involve with my kidney since it's been bothering me/in pain but I can't even bring myself outside alone and pretty much have nothing. All due to my stubborn faults.
