(Also, not science) I know, I know that you super smart people and your 3-minute conspiracy theory videos know the truth- science is complicated not because you don't understand it, it is because it is a conspiracy and have access to all the conspiracies "they" hide in the darkweb of in youtube and facebook.


I honestly cannot believe some people can write coherently and still believe this stuff. I think half of people are lying and half are just deranged.

I watched the video and I am going to be open. I tried to be kind, but since you asked, it is complete garbage. Not because I disagreed with it, but because they did not present anything on which to disagree. First, let me tell you what it is - simple click-bait that sounds informative or authoritative to people with little scientific understanding that like having their unscientific conspiracy conclusions verified. It makes them feel like they know "the truth." Those that disagree are brainwashed, indoctrinated. We are the ones wrong and you aren't the scientifically illiterate and scared, you are the experts that evade authorities blah blah blah. "They" don't want you to know this but this video on youtube shows the truth! Yes, there is a massive conspiracy, the FDA is corrupt, the truth is being hidden and yet youtube, facebook, and geocities have "the truth".

The video - I have no idea who these people are or why I should even be paying attention. I didn't see "Chief of Virology at Mt. Sinai Hospital...) First, appeal to authority is a logical fallacy. I see in with Christians arguing that so and so is a creationist and has a PhD (in an unrelated field). It is a short video, which is clickbait, you send it off like a virus to the others like you. If there was some stunning evidence, it would be in a research paper that could be analyzed and of course, would be peer-reviewed. These are no-context sound bites. Guy goes on about "some study" where no vaccines = no problems at all. That is not how that works. Even if there is a causa! link, there would be an increase in issues such as these, not just all these kids weren't vaccinated and some paper says no issues. You can go to the middle of nowhere Afghanistan where no kids are vaccinated and guess what? No diagnosed mental issues too.

A real breakthrough can be put together in a publication citing evidence, revealing potential biases or limitations, and methodology, which is peer reviewed. Real science looks at controls and does its best to reduce bias. There is nothing scientific about that video and nothing can be scientific about it. Something that makes such outrageous claims, not on just one major issue, but a multitude of issues needs to have thorough evidence, not random sound bites.

I am not trying to be rude. People SHOULD be asking questions and anti-vax are not asking questions. They do not understand the science and get afraid of it. This is why you cannot get a prescription without a doctor, filled by a pharmacist.

That principle that "correlation is not causation" is often misused. Correlation is evidence that two things are linked. Ice cream sales go up in the summer, they are linked, doesn't mean that the more ice cream that is sold causes global temperatures to rise. But it is evidence that the two things are linked.

This is evidence that autism rates and the vaccine schedule for kids are linked. Are we getting more vaccines to treat autism? That would mean that increased autism is causing the drug companies to come up with more vaccines. No, we don't have a vaccine for autism. That doesn't make sense. Also the autism shows up after they get the the vaccines, not the other way around.

So we know the two things are linked, and we know that it is not Autism rates that are driving the increase in vaccinations.

Maybe it is the other way around? Maybe the increase in vaccinations is what is causing the autism rates to go up!

In 1900 no one had cable TV and no autism was diagnosed. Almost no one was diagnosed with autism in 1970 and almost no one had autism. The more cable TV spread and internet, the more brains were corrupted.

You know what causes COVID rates to increase? Testing. In the beginning, COVID had to be done by PCR and it was a long, limited process. The more COVID tests were able to be performed, the more the rates went up. So, COVID tests caused more COVID.
