And again it expresses to the ones that dont watch.....was my point. In fact addressing the church only points to a event for the church only. Where the second coming says every eye will see him. Un like a thief who would want to remain hidden.
Christ second coming comes after tribulation, and vials of wrath being poured out Paul says we are not appointed to wrath.
Not to debate the rapture theory but just seeing how one addresses these scriptures.
The second coming is Jesus coming to earth, yet Paul says there's a catching up in the clouds to be with the Lord in the air.
It just seems to me there are 2 events taking place here.
