Ive recently seen videos off people who call themselves followers of christ but
say they are jacked up on jesus and that our lord makes them high and drunk on glory.
This is disturbing to my heart but at the same time intreaging to why they act the way they do.
Ive done some research and many say that this is the kundilini spirit which is eastern culture or what not.
Still not exactly sure why they act the way they do and how can they be so strong in their believe. I recently
emailed a ministry who preaches this movement and told them that its tearing me up and i cant help but get mad at it.
I strongly believe a church should preach the key things such as know what jesus did so that we could have a relationship with him and recieve his grace.

But sadly all this church preaches is the sensations of so called drunken glory and pretending to smoke the holy spirit.
It's just really upsetting.

...How does everyone feel about this movement?
 
It is kundilini, the New Age is taking over the church. It's been planned and worked for several years. Marilyn Ferguson wrote about how the New Age would be brought in through the "Christian" church. People that wont read their bibles will fall for anything.
 
Thanks for replying :) I guess its true to those who don't read the bible, but those who don't and mock The Lord, it really hits home, it feels like a best friend getting made fun of.
 
Much of this is nothing new. They are just putting a new, modern face on an old idea. I remember hearing 'drunk in the spirit' as a teen. Back then i even heard the term 'sipping on the Holy Ghost'. But now they are just taking it to a farther extreme to make it more worldly looking. But its still the same old doctrine of demons.
 
Read acts 16:16-20. Paul was followed by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination. She followed them for days proclaiming loudly that they were servants of the one true God that show us the way to salvation. The unclean spirit annoyed him so bad he cast it out in Jesus' name.

Don't trust them just because they proclaim Jesus. We are to test the spirits. Paul talks about the requirements of Christianity. Jesus came in the flesh. Shed his blood for us. Died and was resurrected in the flesh and now lives. Test the spirits.
 
I believe there is a false gave and there is genuine gave. In the town where I grew up, Chinese descendant, was Confucian Than there is a rich man near by the town, he was acute diabetic. back in the late 1800, diabetic is big problem, He went to Europe, and China for treatment, but fail. A missionary pray for him and the Lord heal him. He converted and preach the gospel and pray for the sick to his people. One of them is his own nephew, the Chinese temple leader, also rich businessmen as well. He the one that preach to my town and most of them converted. He donate his land to build christian school. He is uneducated, but have strong faith.
From first grade to fifth grade I attend that school, than went to public school at sixth grade.
May classmate at the fift grade was new comer from the town nearby, He had appendix infection. Schedule for surgery.
Than his parent asking this former temple leader for pray. And God heals him on the spot.
My mom had ear infection and another guest pastor pray and God also heals her, She was not christian yet by that time.
The miracle responsible for my folk convert.

But ya I believe there are false give like this.

I believe they are under the influence of demons and disgrace our Lord and Savior.
 
I have displays of this so-called Spirit drunkenness on TV. I have no doubt it's a spirit...but, not THE Spirit. What's worse is that people flock to events like this and hope to join in. The church had better wake up in these...the last days. Behavior like that is not the Holy Spirit. He would never make someone do something that will take attention away from God. He glorifies Jesus just as Jesus Himself sought only to glorify His Father.

Sadly enough, these so-called "teachers" and "preachers" on what is labelled as Christian TV are as bad with their constant "fund-raising" and selling of products throughout their shows...that's what they are "shows". Their meetings can be called an assembly but not a church gathering.
