The effects of the commandments and laws of the Creator through the parents.

  • “My son, keep your father's commandments, and do not forsake the law of your mother; when you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you awake, it shall talk with you. ” (Proverbs 6.20,22).

Three moments are highlight:

*First*: when the person goes. *Effect*: the Creator’s will shall lead him/her. Every step given by the person should be guided by what the Creator enjoins to them.

*Second*: when the person sleeps. *Effect*: the Creator’s will shall keep him/her. Each person should sleep with the instruction of the Creator in the mind. It’s good to recall that:

  • “In a dream, a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men; while they slumber on the bed; then He opens the ear of men and seals their teaching, so that He may turn man from his act, that He might hide pride from man.” (Job 33.15-17).

*Third*: when the person awakes. *Effect*: the Creator’s will shall talk with him/her. After sleeping meditating on Jesus’ will, it should to happen exact the opposite of what takes place with the wicked:

  • “Woe to those who plot wickedness and prepare evil on their beds! When the morning is light they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand. And they covet and seize fields; and houses, and take them away. And they oppress a man and his household, even a man and his inheritance.” (Micah 2.1,2).
  • “For they have brought their heart near like an oven, while they lie in wait. Their baker sleeps at night; in the morning it burns like a flaming fire.” (Hosea 7.6).

So, let’s sleep ruminating Jesus’ words, wake up praying to Him (in order to receive the power and gifts to fulfill His mission) and go with gusto to where Jesus wants us to see Him working His salvation in us and through us.
