Oh I hear ya! I'll speak the Gospel of Christ until they drag me out. I don't "candy coat" it either which I am sure some find offensive but it's truth. The way I see it if the truth offends them then they don't want the truth they want a "feel good" message. Well the truth hurts some times. It's when the truth hurts that we actually come to Christ for we see how lost we really are.

I thank God for the truth!!!!

Agreed on!

I hope you are aware also the way we could approach them with it. Sometimes we think "our truth" is bigger than them and that´s offensive, yet it´s not needed to be coated with sugar (Jesus said it this way: Mat 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its taste, it cannot be made salty again. Salt is useless if it loses its salty taste. It will be thrown out where people will just walk on it. )

So you do "right" by avoiding "candy coat" yet none of us is seen as his messenger (and there´s no need too) so, when you see you´ve drawn no attention "Cheer up" (Luk 12:43 When the master comes and finds him doing the work he gave him, it will be a day of blessing for that servant! )

I have to remind myself also that I am only to plant the seed. The Holy Spirit does the real work so to speak.

i always find this encouraging--

Rom 8:31-35; 37-39
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;
who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
