America was the one country (certainly the top of the list) that was founded on Christian values. . guess we should have looked into the Old Testament laws of God a little more than we did... God in the OT destroyed evildoers. Today... well, He gives them time to repent and that's good but I don't see many repentance stories in the news, even Christ-centered news...

My daughter had this dream the other night..

We were sitting on the couch and I was telling her the end was very close. We would see it come in our lifetime and very soon. She said it was a weird dream. She said she had been talking to God that night and thought maybe God was telling her something.

I said that I can’t say he wasn’t..but that she needed to make sure she knew God, and we talked about what that meant..so thank you God for the opening to have my daughter finally hear me!

I have been thinking about ‘we would see it in our lifetime and very soon’ ....what is very soon to God? When a day is like a thousand years to Him. Then I think about how Jesus died in ad 30...does that mean that we could see either the return of Christ at that time..or the beginning of the trib? This is something I am thinking of in the back of my mind..not a date setting exercise. I would fully understand if in that year nothing happened...but I think its interesting to note that it would be exactly 2,000 years since Jesus died... and is that when the fullness of the gentiles comes in? Interesting thinking anyway.

I do and have been doing that, while keeping tabs on all of the proofs that we are in the last days. I'm doing what Peter said and what the attitude of all believers should be:

"You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming."

The more prophecy we see regarding the beast and his mark, the closer the church is to being gathered, because that must take place first. This is why we ought to study the book of Revelation and end-time events. We should be warning people of the coming wrath as well and how escape it.

We can warn the non believers before God's wrath comes, telling them how to escape it by committing themselves to Christ.

I'm convinced that many people think that when they die, they become non existent, fade to black. However, according to scripture, we know that is not the case. Those people who have committed suicide did so thinking that they would cease to exist, only to find that all they did was expedite their punishment by dying without Christ. Once there in Hades, like the rich man, they can't send someone back up to warn their family members so that their spirits don't end up there.

Oh I don't have an issue with studying the Word. One day I hope to study it in original language to understand it better.

I think the bible is where we get our knowledge from . so many prophets and preachers are speculating things but the bible is closed cannon and has the answers we seek

The bible doesnt being confusion but clarity and peace. Too many many preachers these days are into conspiracy theories they heard on YouTube . I don't Do you tube anymore. don't need it.

I do think the end must be close as the birth pangs have got so intense in the past two decades even. It seems that the time of Jacobs Trouble may even be round the corner. I used to be a bit sceptical when some believers said they reckoned Jesus would return in our lifetime but I no longer feel that way. War in Israel with the surrounding nations seems almost an inevitability within the next 20 or 30 years. Since 1967 things have been hotting up there and the tribes have been returning from all over the world.

Am a simple minded gal with a simple faith but I do think the most important thing is to preach Christ crucified as often as we can. I always tell people "I don't have the answers but I know the one who does!". Because no one is guaranteed tommorow. The unbeliever could die at any time so it always important to give them hope and freedom through Christ's finished work on the cross.

I totally agree! And we can add to that, the mark of the beast technology and the fact that people over in Switzerland have already been receiving RFID chips under the skin of the hand between the index finger and thumb and are using it for digital buying and selling. I believe that this will continue to evolve into something smaller and more applicable in preparation from the revealing of that antichrist.

I also believe that the apostasy has been going on, as people seem to have turned from God and are embracing the sinful nature more and more. There doesn't seem to be any fear of God in these last days.

I always tell people "I don't have the answers but I know the one who does!". Because no one is guaranteed tommorow. The unbeliever could die at any time so it always important to give them hope and freedom through Christ's finished work on the cross.

I agree! We ought to preach Christ crucified. All believers are at different levels of scriptural knowledge, so, each one should use what God has given to them. And through the study of His word and prayer, we become more and more knowledgeable and thereby more useful.
