The Error of KJV-Onlyism

No, others have said the same thing right on out to having an edit window free-for-all (no restrictions at all, which I hope you can see is ridiculous). Some people proofread before posting, and I would think this not only common sense, but wise, as @Mem has said. Of course you are free to post your opinion, and so am I and others! I would think most things are proofread before posting. That seems more natural (or organic as you said) to me, but if you think otherwise, well, maybe you need to change that if it does not suit you or serve your needs. The other issue is length of post. Having posted something that is fairly short, proofreading and correcting afterwards within five minutes may generally present no problem, even though we all make mistakes and may miss things. Not so with lengthy posts which by necessity require much more attention. If you find proofreading a waste of your precious time because you are in a hurry to post, again, if your needs and desires are not being met by your own attitudes and actions under known conditions that are not going to change, then it is your attitude and actions that need to change, or your needs and desires will never be met under the current circumstances. Twenty minutes is also too long an edit window. Fifteen people could respond within 20 minutes to something which is then changed? Yeah. Chaos and confusion.

We have forever to formulate our responses, but only five minutes after pressing "post reply". Take forever if you have to, there is no need to rush being right, because right is a state of being and not anything that needs to be so hurriedly apprehended. That is, being right is not found in any attempt at being first to be right, because truth doesn't evaporate into thin air if you don't grab it. This is the nature of biblical truths. They are preserved forever, and do not evaporate unless they've been placed in the KJB. Truth endures in spite of any attempt to mischaracterize it and stands.

You can tell when somebody is wearing falsies if you take the time to investigate and have a closer look beneath the simulated lashes.

And although I'm sure this does nothing to help your understanding of me, I'm confident it will at least be productive in other ways.

Again, I don't agree with the 5 minute window. I am not your an enemy if I do not agree with this rule. I could take forever posting on a Google doc. Check endlessly with every software on grammar, and spelling and ask my family and friends if it sounds right over the next week. But in reality, I do have other things to do in life. I am not going to lose any sleep over making a few grammar errors when I can just make an add-on-post of my corrections. The point is that I shouldn't have to do that. But it's okay. I am alright with that. There is a point of speaking and writing that must come organically. This is just my belief. You don't accept it of course.

As for the King James Bible: The more I investigated the KJV vs. Modern Bible issue, the more I only confirmed even more what I originally believed from the very beginning. That is: The KJV is the pure Word of God for today. The Bible is truth. However, not all Bibles say the same thing precisely. I believe Modern Bibles teach false doctrines. I have a list of them. I believe the Modern Bible Movement originated out of deception (with Westcott and Hort). Some in the Modern Bible Movement are even aware of this deception and they don't even care. This is why I am in this fight. I am taking a stand for the truth. More importantly and especially I am taking stand for the truth of God's Holy Word.

I hope this helps you to see where I am coming from (Even if you do not agree).

The Qumran community did not predate Christianity. And why does the Manual of Discipline instruct them to eat their own feces.

are relevant and then dismiss them as if they are not, so what is your point?
 
I remember reading it somewhere. Perhaps it was Josephus. I wish I had taken the notes on it.

I don't know if it is in any of the scrolls.

The Dead Sea Scrolls? What does that matter? It's totally irrelevant.

It is in Josephus, and Israelites don't eat feces. IT IS EXTREMELY UNCLEAN.
