People hate other people many times because they don't understand the situation...i.e. they are ignorant.
Hence it is with people who don't understand the intent of the original languages of scripture...
There's simply no excuse for not studying it in this day and age...

that's correct, I don't think that would be a good use of time.
so, references from a widely-used english translation would be helpful.
I had a similar experience the first time I met some JW's. by now, I think have exercised my senses to discern good and evil, as hebrews 5 talks about.

therefore, when people hate Bowman, it must be because they are ignorant.
the problem is that it's only sometimes that people hate because of ignorance, sometimes they hate for other reasons.

I think I could probably defend the bible against most charges from muslims, atheists, etc...

I like meeting new people,
say, some muslims,
that can show me weaknesses in my belief system... a great way to grow, I think.
from my view, it's replies like the above that lead people to suspect you're playing a game.
