I was doing a study on something else and I came across something I found interesting so I thought I would share.
In the book of Daniel we are shown 4 beasts 1[SUP]st[/SUP]is a lion, second is a bear, third is a leopard, and then the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] and final beast is made up of all the body parts of the previous 3. I believe the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] beast is a global beast system made up of all nations, peoples, and tongues starting in the days of the Roman Empire and continuing still today.
This 4[SUP]th[/SUP] beast is shown in Revelation chapter 13 and is made up of all the body parts of the previous 3 beasts. (lion, bear, leopard)
But what I found interesting was in Daniel 7:7 “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.”
Now look at the feet of the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] beast in Revelation 13:2 “And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
According to the prophecy in Daniel 7:7 the feet would stamp the residue….” and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.”
It’s shown again here Daniel 7:19 “Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
And as we saw above the feet on the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] beast are that of the bear. So what is the bear kingdom? It was the second kingdom shown to Daniel who would also conquer the first kingdom, or Babylonian Empire, and that Bear kingdom would be the Medes and Persian Empire.
And so according to scripture the bears feet would be stamping the residue. I believe the residue refers to the remnant of the woman’s seed. In Ezekiel chapter 5 the Lord shows us 3 thirds and also a remnant referring to the earthly Jerusalem and Israel. But also in the book of Revelation we see the mention of the third parts and the remnant as well.
So it would not be hard stretch to see the connection between the old Persian empire (the bear kingdom) and the bears feet of the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] global beast being a part of the modern day Muslim nations used to stamp on the remnant of the woman’s seed here in the last days.
Here is a list of the countries that now inhabit the old Persian Empire…. “At the height of its power after the conquest of ancient Egypt, the empire encompassed approximately 8 million square kilometers[SUP][15][/SUP] spanning three continents: Asia, Europe and Africa. At its greatest extent, the empire included the modern territories of Iran, Turkey, Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, all significant population centers of ancient Egypt as far west as Libya, Thrace and the ancient kingdom of Macedonia, much of the Black Sea coastal regions, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, much of Central Asia, Afghanistan, China, northern Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and parts of Oman and the UAE.[SUP][6][7][/SUP]
Revelation 12:17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
