Once again was Paul not an Apostle?14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
This says the 12 foundations will have the 12 apostles of the lamb.
Now if there are still apostles today, then that means Jesus will have to choose from all of those apostles names, to decide which ones get their names put on those foundations.
Which apostles is he going to choose from all the supposed ones existing throughout history? Maybe Larry from North Dakota? How about Apostle Snooky from Jersey? Surely Apostle Albert from Phoenix!
Do you see how ridiculous all that sounds?
In order not to sound ridiculous we have to take what the Bible gives us.
The Bible says they are the FOUNDATION.
The Bible says the are 12 apostles of the lamb.
The apostles laid the foundation of the church through Jesus. There is no need for apostles anymore.
I am with you maggy, I do not know where they get this stuff. Furthermore if there were only 12 Apostles that would mean Paul was not an Apostle. Yet scripture clearly states he was. There is no need for churches to be overseen? No need for establishing new churches? No need for mentoring pastors and teachers? Really? You can have your Burger King view and SEPARATE the offices that GOD listed together. Who are YOU to separate and END something that GOD put in place and NEVER, anywhere in His word, said was to cease? Truly, like the rest of, you are no one.

Truth is, If one has Gods Spirit in you as these did that you read of, you are all of those things. Man cant teach you to be one with God have His mind, His Spirit, His understanding. That only comes with Gods Spirit be in you as He was in Jesus, Christ in you. Teach that to your people as Jesus taught that to the people that you become one with the Father and then you might see a real result toward Christianity and people actually become like Him.
North Dakota has two apostles that I am aware of. Larry Boroud on the more state level and Jim Chosa on the larger regional level.
Now, go ahead and google them so you can find as much DIS and dirt as possible to support your lack of knowledge and your cessationism.
I'm pretty sure I made my first five-fold ministry in kindergarten.
Oh no, contrary, In Christ there is no sin at all, it is outside Christ that you are a sinner. 1 Joihn 3:5 He came to take away my sin. It really works. and in V 6 If one is a sinner then Christ cant be. and in V 9 It is impossible to be in sin and be in Christ.
Are you sugesting that Christ cant take away your sin? What god do you serve anyway? It sure isnt the one described in 1 John 3.
Revelation 21
13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls.
So you're telling me we're going to see the name of apostle Larry and apostle Jim on the foundation next to Peter and such?
The lamb is clearly described as having 12 apostles. No more.
The 12 apostles were part of the foundation. Jesus is done laying foundation. He won't even accept Obama money in exchange for concrete to lay new apostolic foundation...
19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
So the apostles falsley assigned the 12th apostleship to Matthias huh? Not buying, but good tryYes Paul was an apostle.
An apostle is someone called by Jesus directly to be an apostle.
Matthew 10
1 Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
Judas betrayed him. So he wasn't any longer an apostle.
His replacement was chosen by lot, not by the direct call of Jesus.
26 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.
Leaving us with 11 total who we know had that direct call of Jesus to be an apostle.
Then Paul received his call for apostleship. Making it 12.
1 Corinthians 1 1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
Also why do they call it the five FOLD ministry?
That has always highly annoyed me. It feels like we're discussing anointed laundry or something. Does the five fold ministry come with a well defined crease and free of static cling?
It sounds like such a Christian cliche title.
