You are very smart to retire to Thailand. I think it's going to get worse here in the US. The left are becoming more and more overtly hostile towards Conservatives/Christians.
That's funny, they don't even know who the shooter is, how can they know what motivated him/her? It would be a reasonable assumption it was politically motivated, but that's all it is right now, a guess. For a state governor to come out already and say this, is irresponsible and shows he's not a very serious person.
Right, he wasn't killed for talking about sports or something this was 100% politically motivated
It could've been religiously motivated. Kirk was as outspoken about religion as he was about politics. He was quite critical of Islam.
I saw it coming and it was just getting worse every year. I lived a life of Evangelism and taking a stand for Truth which provokes persecution. If a Christian wasnt involved this way, they didnt notice the Evil growing in power around them, even inside the Church. Yes, I was even persecuted by The Church as it blurred the lines between Truth and Corruption(Greed and Power). This shooting certainly isn't going to help liberals, that's something that makes me think it was less political and more personal. I mean, if he was trying to score political points with liberals, this wouldn't be the way to do it. Now maga is out for blood and want to wipe liberals from the face of the earth.
I agree. This was not a good political move therefore I too think it is personal and deranged. Charlie was not in a Political office so it would serve no purpose and the left is at a huge disadvantage anyway. Someone just made things even worse. Even my Liberal Leaning friends in the US are shocked by this.
Then on the other hand I feel the chill of "Deep State Creepiness" about this. The Left whether Hitler Stalin Mao or even Xi was and is known for making things worse for themselves. Look at satan. knowing God would use satans actions to save mankind he still pushed to crucify Christ and got caught in his own net. "DOUGH"!!!!!!!!!

He was shot at a political rally in front of thousands to make a statement....to invoke fear about speaking the truth.
That's precisely why the time of peaceful coexistence is over.
They have demonstrated who they are....believe them.
They have stated in no uncertain terms what they want....

This is not the nation they want....this is the nation they need....but they are destroying it because they hate all things good.

From what has become known about the shooter, my impression is he wasn't motivated strictly by political ideology. Like many school shooters, he seems to just be a troubled young man who was looking for a way to feel powerful and gain notoriety. This reflects the situation in our society more than anything; which more and more helps the rich and weakens the lower classes, and makes life more difficult for ordinary Americans. What would be great is if this event caused those in power to take a serious look at the reasons for all the gun violence in this country; but sadly it wont. People will decry what happened and then go back to business as usual. All I've heard so far is "conservatives righteous, liberals evil."
Of course a manifesto or something else could surface which would change my view. Have to wait and see.

The Bible told us that things in the last days will get worse. If anyone still thinks the last days are still far off, they're blind or in denial.
I wasn't the fan of the guy but he didn't deserve to be murdered over peacefully engaging in audience
