The Greatest Chess Game Ever​
The King of Kings humbled himself to become a pawn of pawns. He was in essence the king but in the form of a pawn. A humbled embodiment of His Lordship.

He pushed from the second rank where his earthly birth had begun, playing E4 for he came from the Father the King, but was in substance God the Son.

He was offered a free rook, a free knight and even a free bishop while he was in the wilderness. But this was a distraction to take him off the path to which he had said “yes”.

--The path that led to the cross where he bled. But he resisted the temptation and the devil fled.

He pressed on until he eventually got to C7 where he sacrificed himself so that I, a mere pawn on G7 could be promoted to royalty and to reign with him in heaven.

I thank God for the sacrificed and risen Christ, for in that same move sin and death will be Checkmated in my life.

To God be the Glory Great things He has Done.
