Banks pay a fraction of a percent on deposits. Treasuries pay:

Where are you going to put your money? BTW, there is massive bidding on the short end. Huge yield curve inversions.
In any case, a good old fashioned bank run is as good a trigger as any for a collapse of the system.
 
Always makes me suspicious when everyone is saying the same thing, fortunately Jim Kramer is talking about buying stocks on the pullback, sees opportunity in Paypal and Goodyear tire. Ladner is talking about investing in Asian equities and "anti cyclical" equities.

So the braindead are still braindead, that is a good sign that all those predicting imminent collapse are on point.
