Wow, an incredible account of what happened. This CEO said one week he shipped 30 containers, the next week he shipped 5 and the week after that he shipped 0. There was no warning, no emails, no phone calls.
Everyone thinks it is absurd tin foil hat conspiracy until it happens. Imagine suggesting that in two weeks the world will forget China even exists! But that is how he described it.
This must be such an exciting time for you. So many outrageous things happening, so much for potential for gloom and doom in the forecast.

Why do you never report large hiring? All you report are layoffs. And those you have been reporting for multiple years now. Somebody gotta be hiring somebody, or there wouldn't be anybody left to lay off. But all you ever report are the layoffs...
Googling some of these gives interesting results. For example, Citibank announced that plan in January of last year. And they are not laying people off until the fourth quarter of this year.

Hmm, yes... Normally I would say "He should move down here to west Tennessee and see what the good life is all about." But in this case, no. Nope. Ain't gonna do it. We only got a few "America sucks" people here, and we're trying to convince them to move somewhere else. We don't need more of that junk.
