Politics is a tricky thing when democracy (aka mob rule) and votes are part of it.
I was looking at the mayoral situation in NY. It strikes me again how we are in a time when way too much has become essentially normal after having been tolerated for too long a time. The ideology and mentality of the candidate would have been shut down and thrown out not too long ago as simply being unamerican. He'd likely have been run out of the country or dealt with legally in some way to make it clear that this foreign ideology is not wanted here.
IMO, unfortunately, this melting-pot ideology has now gone too far and foreign invasion not speaking so much re: numbers but in unamerican ideology is deeply rooted enough to keep spreading like the infection it is.
There's a Christian pastor who has done a lot of work on the US Constitution. With an open mind some of it is interesting to think about. Before taking it in I was asking myself why all the patriotism over the USC? If it is as good as many think, then why are we where we are? In the end it just seems another example of mankind being under law - written documents ultimately don't mean that much unless it's very clear and there is a sufficient body of men - neighbors - willing to hold everybody else to it. It has to be a part of us on our minds and in our hearts. I'm sure you grasp this language.
