The Harlot in Revelation that rides the beast Part 2.

To understand who she is John throughout chapters 17-18-19 describes the relationship she has with the dragon, beast and false prophet.
Who is this woman?

The first mention of her by name is in Rev 17:1. She is called the great prostitute who sits on many waters, however her official name is found in verse 5. She is called “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes, and of earth's abominations”.

The characteristics of this woman are:

Is described as being “drunk with the blood of the saints.” v 6.
She sits on the beast with 7 heads and ten horns.
In verse 10 she is described as sitting on the 7 heads of the beast which is 7 mountains and translated 7 kings by John.
So, she is sitting on 7 Kings. John goes on to explain in verse 17:10 that 5 of the Kings she is sitting on have already fallen or passed away and only 2 Kings remain. One is alive John explains in his lifetime and 1 is still to come.

So, to explain verse 9 and verse 10 properly the harlot woman who rides the beast has been riding the 5 kings already past, riding the king who is in Johns time and will ride the King after John’s King passes away (rides or sits on). This is quite a profound statement because this means that the harlot woman has been sitting on or riding the king and their kingdoms for many years before Johns time and now in Johns time and the time to come which is our time. She is described as a harlot drunk with the blood of the saints and living a life of filth and sexually immorality (17:4).

John goes on to explain the 10 horns that are on the best that the woman rides are 10 Kings that hand over their authority to the beast 17:12. The waters that the woman is seated on are described as nations, peoples and languages 17:15. She is also the great city that has dominion over all the earth.

So, lets just summarise what we have seen here.

She was around before Johns time and in Johns time sitting on 5 kings passed and sitting on the current king in Johns time and will sit on a future King in the future of Johns time.
She is described as a great city that has dominion over all the earth.
She has persecuted the saints
She is sexually immoral. She rides the beast.
She shares the beast with 10 kings and the beast that will eventually slay her and her rule.

I believe she is a demonic supernatural force who is a form of antichrist throughout the generations of the world, in Johns time and way before Johns time.
She according to John has governed 7 Kings or kingdoms and, in the end, times will be destroyed by the beast and his new antichrist-kingdom.
That means that throughout history certain kings and kingdoms that have ruled the earth and different ages and places will no longer be able to do so when the beast destroys the dominion of the harlot who seems to be a caretaker throughout the ages opposing God and his kingdom.
In Rev 18 she is described of as living a life of luxury (Rev 18:3)
What happens next seems to be a swift end her and she is slain by the beast and the kings so their rule reigns for a time. However, in Rev 19 the very next chapter the beast wages war with God army and is finally defeated by Jesus and his coming army and thrown into the hellfire for eternity along with the false prophet.
So, who is the harlot woman?
She is not the Apostate Church as some would believe ...at least not according to the scriptures. She is also not the Catholic church as some would believe.
She seems to be some sort of antichrist-spirit that has ruled over the world for eons and supported kings and kingdoms whether supernatural or natural.
The only thing that makes her stand out is that over the years many horrific atrocities have been done to Gods people in her care, maybe since the first prophet in the Bible was killed.
However, all the blood and guts and horror committed on her behalf will seem like a dwarfed version of persecution when the beast and the 10 kings come to rule the world. They will snuff out her rule and make he look like an ant in comparison. The good news is the worst of horror stories wont compare to the horror waiting for them and their annihilation when Jesus returns.

Hhhhmmmm … no
All this is about the Rome and the Papacy > the Roman Catholic Church.
no its not...firstly there is no mention of Rome or of the papacy! The 7 kings that the woman was sitting on refers to kings or kingdoms. 5 had passed when John wrote the letter, one was in existence when John wrote the letter and one was still to come. The papacy didnt exist when John wrote the letter and he bluntly explains that one of the kings the woman sits on is alive in his lifetime and yet another has yet to come and 5 have fallen or passed away. it simply reads what is saids however it simply doesnt read what you said. Be careful you dont run after convincing arguments that dont explain the Bible properly. According to John he was living in the time when the Harlot was in her 6 out of 7 king and dominion. One more King needed to come after his time and then the time of the beast would arrive and conquer all the other kingdoms and the harlot.
" They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while. " Revelation 17;10
So here we see John explaining that he is in the time of the 6th king. If what you say is correct then the harlot is the catholic church and she ruled in the time of John and beforehand because she rode the beast on the other 5 kings before the one that is in Johns time. Which of course we know is ludicrous.

John explain the antichrist was already exist in his life time

Yes

John also explain that the antichrist went out from us but not one of us

John is human do when he say went out from us mean went out from human, so the antichrist is human

John is Christian, so when out from us mean from Christian but not one of us

Pretend to be Christian.

Pretending Christian was exist in john time until now and one day this pretending Christian will rule the world for 7 years.
1 John 2
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

In rev 13 we read this antichrist will rule the world /one world government and pope promote one world government so I believe pope is promote satanic government and that harlot is Rome ride the beast with 10 horn

https://pulpitandpen.org/2019/05/03...ttacks-border-walls-and-national-sovereignty/

Rome ride 10 horn because one world government will be divide into 10 regions

The horn represent kingdom or king

So those 10 kings will under rome

Pope is God on earth and god is king of king

Hopefully you see the Bible isnt just made out of paper!
There is a member here on cc (vco) that has a lot of info on the ac being catholics.
Dave hunt has a book "the woman rides a beast" where he places the ac as Catholic.
It is interesting, and could be right.
Watchman nee also believed the ac is catholic.
Not sure, but i think Hagee also believes that.

Not sure, but i think Hagee also believes that.
I also believe that all the descriptions in Revelation fit perfectly in describing the RCC and the Papacy.
Even the reference in Daniel of the little horn Daniel 7:8

Know thy history. Study the history of Rome, Europe and the RCC and you can make sense of Revelation.

I have a bible study interpreting who the prostitute of Babylon, who the first beast of Revelation is, who the second beast of Revelation is, and what the mark of the beast is. You will find no other website on the internet (at least that I've seen) that explains this topic in great detail as I have, finally revealing the truth of what the mark of the beast is today, http://www.wisdomofgod.us/2018/12/0...the-mark-of-the-beast-and-the-meaning-of-666/ .

Good day Rapturechrist!

Below is the scripture:

"The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. They (the seven heads) are also seven kings."

Therefore, the seven heads symbolically representing two things

* Seven Mountains/Hills

* Seven Kings

In other words, the seven hills are not symbolic for seven kings. The seven heads symbolically represent both individually. In support of this, in verse 18, the woman is said to be "that great city that rules over the kings of the earth."

At the time that John was receiving this information from the angel, the city that ruled over the kings of the earth was Rome. That said, the woman is that great city that sits on seven hills/mountains. That said, Rome was literally built on and is famous for her seven hills. And the seven heads also represent seven kings who are related to that city.

John goes on to explain the 10 horns that are on the best that the woman rides are 10 Kings that hand over their authority to the beast 17:12. The waters that the woman is seated on are described as nations, peoples and languages 17:15. She is also the great city that has dominion over all the earth.
They are also seven kings = A succession of kings. At the time John was receiving this information from the angel, five of those kings had come and gone, king number six was ruling and the king number seven had not yet come, but when he did he would only remain in power for a short time. The eight king is that beast who in the future, will come up out of the Abyss.

The ten horns are ten kings = The Ten horns are ten future individuals who will be appointed as kings in a short period of time along with the beast and who will rule concurrently with him.

The woman is indeed referring to Rome and her religious headquarters (Vatican) which sits on seven hills.

How can she be the spirit of antichrist, when the kings destroy her so they can give their kingdom to the antichrist?

Exactly! All of the scriptural clues point to Rome and her counterfeit church.

The woman you saw is that great city that rules over the kings of the earth = At the time John received this information from the angel, Rome was that great city that ruled over the kings of the earth.

The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits = Rome was literally built on and is famous for her seven hills

The woman is dressed in purple and scarlet
= These are the exact colors of the robes worn by the Bishops and Cardinals

I have a bible study interpreting who the prostitute of Babylon, who the first beast of Revelation is, who the second beast of Revelation is, and what the mark of the beast is. You will find no other website on the internet (at least that I've seen) that explains this topic in great detail as I have, finally revealing the truth of what the mark of the beast is today, http://www.wisdomofgod.us/2018/12/0...the-mark-of-the-beast-and-the-meaning-of-666/ .
Read a good chunk, and I'm sorry to say you wasted a lot of time and effort into vast private interpretations with too much error to go into. Didn't read the mile long paper because I lost interest when you erroneously tried to make Titus out to be THE anti-christ.

Greetings cgneustar! Below is the correct meanings of the kingdoms:

First kingdom (Head of Gold/Lion) = Babylon

Second kingdom (Chest and arms of silver/bear) = Medo-Persia

Third kingdom (Belly and Thighs of Bronze/Leopard) = Greece

Fourth kingdom (Legs of Iron/Teeth of Iron) = Rome

The ten-toed kingdom made of iron and partly baked clay, will be a revival or extension of the fourth kingdom/Rome, but won't have the strength that it had when it was made of pure iron.

The seven heads are a succession of seven kings belonging to the previous seven, with the eighth king being the beast which will come up out of the Abyss in the future. The fact that the scripture states that "the beast you saw is an eighth king and belongs to the seven tells us that he is of the same lineage of the previous seven kings.

In short, the four kingdoms referred to above, are not the same as the succession of seven kings mentioned as the heads in Revelation 17. It may be that those seven is in reference to a succession of Roman emperors, which would make sense since the rest of the clues point to the woman and being Rome as her religious headquarters which sits on seven hills.

Which is why eventually a great war broke out in heaven, much later after Gabriel was helped by Michael when he was opposed by the evil angels of Persia, which was an attempt of Satan and his angels to take dominion of heaven, and they fought against Michael and the angels he commands, yet Satan and his angels were defeated, which was around the time the Messiah ascended into heaven and began to rule over heaven and earth, during the time of the next kingdom that came after the Greeks,
In Revelation 1:19 John was told to write, "what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later."

What you have seen = Everything written from Rev.1:1 to 1:19

What is now = Represented by the letters to the churches and which also represents the entire church period

What will take place later = Everything which will take place after the "what is now," i.e. what will take place after the church period

Therefore, we are still living in the "what is now" part of what John was told to write, which is the church period. The "what is now/church period" will be completed when the Lord descends from heaven to gather the church. Following that will begin the "what must take place later."

All that said, the war in heaven described in Revelation 12 where Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven and restricted to the earth, is a future event and is the result of the seventh trumpet and is the third woe. The reference to the dragon/Satan knowing that his time is short, is referring to the fact that from the time that he and his angels are cast down to the earth, they will only have 1260 days (3 1/2 years) until the Lord returns to the earth to end the age, where he and his angels will be thrown into the Abyss for a thousand years.

Yet he did not come in the form of a Roman pope, nor the form of a Roman emperor, but in the form of a commander of the Roman armies, which was Titus, who surrounded Jerusalem with armies, profaned the temple of God, and according to historical accounts, was also made “imperator” by his own soldiers, which was the title given to emperors, and may have been worshiped by them as god there at the set-apart place, for such was the tradition that was practiced around that time by certain Romans, to also worship their emperors as gods, just as the Greeks worshiped their rulers as gods,
He, (antichrist) has not yet been revealed. Therefore, he was not figuratively represented by Titus and the Roman armies. The revealing of the antichrist/beast is also yet a future event, whose revealing will take place after the church has been removed from the earth. The antichrist is represented by the opening of the first seal rider on the white horse who goes out to conquer and to make conquest.

And thus he became the “abomination of desolation” that was prophesied to come after the death of the Messiah, the one who would sit in the temple of God claiming to be God, and the one who was also prophesied to bring the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple,
The abomination spoken of in Daniel 9:27 and quote by Jesus in Matt.24:15, is also a future event. Once the church has been removed and the antichrist makes his seven year covenant with Israel, they will build their temple and begin to sacrifice according to the law of Moses during the first 3 1/2 years. In the middle of the seven years, the ruler, the antichrist, will cause the offerings and sacrifices to cease and will set up the abomination in the new temple, which will cause the Israel and all Judea to flee out into the desert, which is the desolation. This desolation is synonymous with the woman of Revelation 12, who will flee out into the desert to that place prepared for her by God where she will be cared for during the last 1260 days, i.e. the last 3 1/2 years of that seven year period.

Sixty nine of the seven year periods where completed when the Messiah was cut off (Christ crucified). Once the church is completed and gathered, then God will pick up right where He left off with Israel, in fulfillment of that last seven years.

Which is why the Messiah said, “when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies” and “when you see the abomination of desolation in the set-apart place”, then flee Judea, which is where Jerusalem is, for the destruction of Jerusalem is at hand,
Though the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem in 70 A.D. was terrible, it doesn't come close to regarding the great tribulation when Jesus said, "then there will be a time of great tribulation such has not been seen from the beginning, until now and never to be equaled again. And unless those days had been shortened, no one would survive." No one surviving is in reference to the entire world and that because of God's wrath via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments.

And this succession of Roman authority was also prophesied to persecute the people of God, for 42 prophetic months, or “a time, times, and half a time”, which is equivalent to 1,260 literal years, which was fulfilled already long ago, through prior Roman popes,[/quote)

The above is also false and will take place in the future during that last seven years. This is preterism that you are preaching, which is one of the most destructive false teachings in the world today.

Since we have that last seven years yet to be fulfilled, the reference to 1260 days, a time, times and half a time and 42 months, all represent that last seven year period which is made up of two 3 1/2 year periods.

In support of the last seven years as yet future, the following prophecy regarding that last seven years has not yet been fulfilled and therefore could not be referring to the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem:

"Seventy weeksd are decreed for your people and your holy city to stop their transgression, to put an end to sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

Surely, you don't believe that everlasting righteousness has been brought in, that visions and prophecy have been sealed up and the most Holy Place has been anointed. These are yet future and will take place in conjunction with the Lord's return to the earth to end the age and establish His millennial kingdom.

"To much error to go into" were the same words that I was going to use. Obviously, he holds to a preterist view, i.e. all end-time events have already taken place, with Titus and the Roman armies figuratively representing Jesus returning to the earth. However, you have to do a lot of shucking and jiving to come to that conclusion.

Jesus was very clear regarding His return to the earth to end the age when He said:

"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory." - Matt.24:30

At that same time, Jesus will send His angels out with a loud trumpet to gather the survivors of the tribulation period. I would ask cgneustar when this happened? The answer would be, never!

The scripture above is synonymous with Rev.1:7

"Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him—even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen."

The scriptures above can in no way be construed to represent Titus and his armies destroying the temple and Jerusalem, which is how they are interpreting those scriptures. Jesus was also very clear when He said, "if they say the Messiah is in the desert, don't go out and look, or that he is in the inner rooms, don't believe it." The interpretation about Titus and his armies would fit this warning. Jesus will arrive on the clouds of heaven, which sets Him apart from everyone else who would claim to be the Messiah.

Israel will never follow a Gentile. The AC must be of Jewish descent. False prophet could be a pope.

Hhhhmmmm … no
All this is about the Rome and the Papacy > the Roman Catholic Church.
This is correct. Mystery Babylon is called a city, and it sits on seven hills. So does Rome.

And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth... And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
