Your paraphrase is not what Jesus said it is what you want to have Him to say.

Preachers need the gift of preaching and the anointing of God to preach. The church is a mess because many men promote themselves to be preachers whom God has not anointed and not gifted to the ministry.

Preachers do not preach with gifts but by rightly dividing the word of God workmen that need not be ashamed.

Yes Jesus said, go and wait until you receive POWER FROM OH HIGH. You need to stop trying to be right and and humble yourself. But as you have said before you have never been corrected. And you said never. So I would highly recommend no-one listen to you because you think you are always right. That is Pride 101.

Clinging to Jacob's well isn't going to do much good - Yeshua/Jesus said anyone who drinks from Jacob's well will thirst again........

Yeshua/Jesus didn't tell people He was the Messiah, yet He told her - plainly, but secretly - no one was there except Yeshua/Jesus and the Samaritan woman. I love that He told her plainly.

This was unusual behavior..... I like how the disciples just watched and kept their mouth shut. God is so much fun, just when we think we got Him figured out........ He'll do the unexpected! lol! :giggle::love:(y)

Isn't it interesting that the Samaritans were looking for the Messiah, as a Savior, yet the Jews were looking for a Messiah as a King that would set up His Kingdom......

Samaria was a great place for Yeshua/Jesus and His disciples to "hide out" because the Jews would not go near Samaria. :giggle::love:(y)
By the way, the reason the Samaritans were clinging to Jacobś well was because their Jewish brothers and sisters did not think to give their gentile brothers and sisters...water to begin with.

The poster to whom I replied was at least inferring that one needed to have hands laid on them to be saved through a filling of the Holy Spirit. I will stand by what I said.

I hate to say it but you are not one to be teaching about humility but no one can cause you to cease.

The scriptures don’t tell us, but I bet Yeshua/Jesus visited all those people in Samaria after His resurrection. I would have loved to have been there!

We do know Philip, Peter and others eventually went to Samaria and the people received the Holy Spirit- Living Water.

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city. But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

I had you on ignoring for months now and when I saw the responses from others I knew you were at your old insults and others again. The mocking, scoffing you like to do, to those who believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today. You Hypocrite. Many posts were made to and others like you, attacking Christians who have only spoken of the experience they have seeking God and receiving what the Word Of God says. When those like you could not prove your point Biblically, you sought after things outside of the word of God to ATTACK Christians who have received from the Lord while seeking HIm.

many have endured this from you and others

  • claims we have devils
  • demand a sign from those on the site who are pentecostal after quoting Matthews 16:1-4
  • attack any thread or posting on the topic like raving wolves
  • post videos of those who Every pentecostal on the site agreed that those who bark like a dog, or do anything unlike what was described in Acts Chapter two or other accounts was unbiblical they would see that and yet still not address the Biblical context of Empowering of the Holy Spirit for today.
  • practicing pagan Kundnani
which no Pentecostal church ever taught or would even look for it would be considered of the devil and not allowed in any Pentecostal mainline church. Those like you Mr. notuptome would have one think a pentecostal who was taught to ask for the empowering of the Holy Spirit as in Acts 1:8 or MARK 16 AND John CHAPTER 1 after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior find the devil instead. Like Jesus really did not mean what HE said in Luke 11:13

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

So, please leave those alone whom you disagree with. I have learned more about the devil from you than of God. You know nothing of the pentecostal doctrine nor is your unsavory experience authoritative.

Acts 1:8
1cor chapter 12 through 14
And The Lord Jesus himself is the foundation of what I have experienced and thank God for each day.

Now I will place you back "ignore" and leave you to you're hypocrisy.

God Bless all

Another thing it was a Jewish oral tradition that the unbelieving Jew turned into idol a channel for seeking after their own flesh .

Jacobs well in respect to its use as a shadow, a picture of the Love of God coming down on the gentiles as well as the Jew men and woman alike as a kingdom of priest. . The sign was to the whole world that God is the father of all nations .

The well like the wailing wall today demonstrates their unbelief in the one God of all nations.

Like the bronze serpent used for a one time demonstration or shadow. They were made to grind it into a power and drink it . A lesson to show us its not what goes into a person that defiles them but that which comes out.

Jacobs well good historical value. No value in the flesh. Jesus said of his own flesh it profits for nothing.

In that way we are like the woman by the well, the free woman ( Galatians 4 )

Proverbs 25:25 As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.

Please read Deuteronomy 18 It is important to remember that the people did not want to hear the VOICE of GOD, lest they die.

So, this oral tradition, this hearing the VOICE of GOD, which they didn want to hear...what did GOD say in Deuteronomy 18...they have spoken well...but HE goes on to say, what?

Hi Thanks for the reply, I would offer He goes on to say . We do not know him after the oral traditions of men who walk after what the eyes see. But rather we walk by a exclusive supernatural faith as it is written . . the unseen eternal .(law of faith)

Jeremiah 44 speaks of those who make the word of God to no effect by the oral traditions of sinners and see no evil in doing so. They are also identified as those who make a noise without meaning and fall backward mocking God . In Isiah 28 same law spoken of in 1 Corinthians 14.

The oral tradition of sinners? Who are you referring to, sir...because according to GOD, HIS WORD, written to HIS first loved, says there is none who are clean...

Therefore, if the WORD came to them first, and GOD declared them unclean, and these were levitical priests through whom and by spiritual rituals, could heal those who were ignorant and had no hope...if GOD declared even the priests unclean, who then is clean...

And if all are unclean, how can they be made clean.

Please read Haggai 2 and explain how any man, jew or gentile, can get around the letter of the Law...which is what Romans, and the scriptures which you pointed to in Romans is saying..

Jesus, the High Priest, gave the Holy Spirit to the Apostles, and to their successors (Acts 1:15-26) when He gave them the power to forgive sins..the Sacrament of Confession. Appearing to them through locked doors Jesus said.. "Peace be to you. AS the Father has sent me I now send YOU." When He had said this He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins YOU forgive shall be forgiven. And whose sins you retain shall be retained." (John 20:21-23) I hear no more beautiful Words than those spoken by the Holy Spirit to me, through His Priest, than.. "I absolve thee of thy sins.."

There is only one Mediator of the New Covenant and that is Christ. No man can absolve another of sin.

Men binding and loosing sin in the NT is within the household of faith and not in the matter of salvation. We can forgive another brother or sister of sin against us but only Christ can forgive sin unto condemnation.

Your post sounds very roman catholic in its intent.

not dumb your just ignorant. God has given us the ministry of reconciliation not to say we did it but to say God has commissioned the church to lead people back to God. Maybe if you were less confrontational asked the new member that instead of attacking those who you disagree with he may have explained it to you.

I disagree completely with your statment.
There is no human being on earth than can absolve another person of their sins. That is completely unscriptural.
